00:03Hello and welcome to Manchester World, my name is Theo Kustenbets.

00:05We're joined by our Manchester United writer, Rich Faye, today.

00:09We're going to throw some names of players at him and see whether they will make their way to Old Trafford next season

00:14to play for the team rather than against it.

00:16We're going to start in goal with James Trafford.

00:18Yeah, I think James Trafford would be a good fit for United.

00:20They're looking at the goalkeeper position this summer.

00:22It's not a priority at this moment in time.

00:24I think a lot of it would depend on if Andre Onana was to leave the club.

00:27James Trafford, he'd want to be playing games regularly after what he's just achieved with Burnley.

00:32I don't think he'd be short of interest this summer either,

00:34given the clean sheet record he had there in the Championship.

00:37I think Trafford would be a good fit for United, but I just don't see it happening this summer.

00:41Sticking with City Academy products, could Taylor Harwood-Bellis be the answer to Manchester United's defensive woes?

00:46Well, centre-back is an interesting one for United this summer.

00:49Obviously, they're losing Victor Lindelof and Johnny Evans both as free agents.

00:52They maybe don't need to sign a centre-back because Lissandro Martinez is still sidelined for injury.

00:57He'll be back early months of next season.

01:00Aidan Evans come through.

01:01Harwood-Bellis, I think he'd be a good pick-up.

01:03He's got that experience again.

01:05He's young, he's English.

01:07He plays a type of football that United would like to have.

01:10I think Harwood-Bellis would be a good fit.

01:12I think he'd be a good tactical signing.

01:13But I just can't see United spending big on a centre-back this summer

01:16because the priority is further up the pitch.

01:18Okay, well, speaking of further up the pitch,

01:20Carlos Balaba of Brighton is a player that Manchester United were linked with

01:23before he joined the South Coast club.

01:25Could he be the answer to their midfield problems?

01:28I think Balaba's a player for next summer.

01:29I think he's excellent.

01:30I think he is that new sort of Declan Rice, Moises Quesado.

01:34He's that centre-mid who's going to be a star of the Premier League for the next 10 years.

01:38He will be very, very expensive.

01:39Again, that's why I don't think United will move for him this summer.

01:42But I think he's a player that they'll keep tabs on,

01:45give another season of experience in the Premier League.

01:47And I expect United to be in the race for Carlos Balaba probably next year.

01:49Now, there's been a lot of movement already with Brian Embuema

01:52potentially set to join the old Trafford outfit.

01:56What will he bring and will we see him sign on the dotted line?

01:59Fully expect this one to go through.

02:00You know, Embuema wants to play for Manchester United.

02:02He's had offers massed off from Tottenham, from Newcastle.

02:04But the United project is one that he sees himself being a part of.

02:07He relishes that opportunity to be part of the group that brings success back to Old Trafford.

02:13I think Embuema's a perfect fit for United.

02:14He's probably experienced.

02:16Ruben Amarim wants to improve the fitness, the athleticism and the sort of durability of his squad.

02:21But Embuema's going to be a perfect fit and I fully expect him to become a Manchester United player.

02:25And finally, number nine is the big one.

02:27Will we see Victor Jokeres be the answer to the problem up front?

02:32Amarim still wants a goal scorer and they've missed out on Liam De Lappe.

02:35He was the preferred target.

02:36They clearly wanted a number nine.

02:38Jokeres is the dream addition.

02:39His stats at Sporting are absolutely obscene.

02:42But United need to sell players first.

02:44They need to get rid of two of the strikers straight away.

02:46Rashford, Garnaccio, Sancho or Anthony.

02:49All available.

02:50Jokeres is one to watch.

02:51He's the dream target.

02:52But hey, can this dream come true?

02:54Quite right.
