00:00He didn't stop following us.

00:04He's dodging in and out of traffic.

00:08I was like, hey guys, can we please stop?

00:12I was traveling with friends in Bolivia and we were leaving in a couple of weeks.

00:17We're like, okay, we don't know what we're going to do long term, but we can make it work.

00:23Next, he was traveling with us.

00:25From the beginning, I grew this deep bond with him.

00:31Yes, good boy.

00:34When it came time for all of us to part ways, we were able to find a Bolivian street dog rescue facility.

00:43Unfortunately, it's not the easiest process to import a dog from Bolivia.

00:49There's a lot of paperwork and blood work that needs to be sent out and processed.

00:52What will happen is he'll be in a foster family in the meantime.

00:57And I'll be back in a couple months to pick him up when everything's all ready.

01:01Chase!

01:06When I saw Chase again, it was amazing.

01:10He remembered who I was and we were so happy.

01:13Good boy!

01:14It was a long and tedious process and challenging by moments, but the stars aligned to help bring us back together.

01:23On the way back, he was so good just laying beside me all the time.

01:30We landed in Miami.

01:34Almost there.

01:36As soon as we landed, I finally felt relief.

01:40We just had this long drive to Tennessee.

01:43That's my beautiful boy.

01:45We went on a little hike to give him time to stretch his legs.

01:49Home run.

01:53I love you.

01:55When he first arrived, he felt like right at home.

02:03I've been nomadic for over two years, but traveling with Chase is definitely different than traveling alone.

02:09So I picked up this van and it became our little home on wheels.

02:23We've got Chase here.

02:25We're ready to get our hands and paws dirty here in the Mojave Desert.

02:30We drove from Tennessee through Oklahoma, New Mexico, the Grand Canyon.

02:40He's funny because he always tries to make me laugh.

02:44Oh my goodness.

02:48I couldn't imagine a more perfect travel partner and companion.

02:58I can be traveling to the farthest corner of the planet, but I have my best friend by my side.

03:05It's bright and early.

03:06This one is still asleep.

03:08He needs his beauty rest.

03:10Look at the little smile.

03:12But we're going to be making our way to Tennessee shortly, so we're hitting the road.

03:17It's about 7 a.m. and we have a couple hours left before we reach our final destination.

03:22I feel like I just go more in love with him every single day and he's the best friend that I could ever have.
