Stray Dog Chases After Woman's Taxi Until She Stops

Stray dog ran after this woman's taxi while she was on vacation in Bolivia — so she stopped to pick him up ❤️ We talked to Krista about how she finally got Chance home and started traveling the country in a van with him!

00:00He didn't stop following us.

00:04He's dodging in and out of traffic.

00:08I was like, hey guys, can we please stop?

00:12I was traveling with friends in Bolivia and we were leaving in a couple weeks.

00:17We're like, okay, we don't know what we're going to do long term, but we can make it work.

00:23Next, he was traveling with us.

00:26From the beginning, I grew this deep bond with him.

00:34When it came time for all of us to part ways, we were able to find a Bolivian street dog rescue facility.

00:42Unfortunately, it's not the easiest process to import a dog from Bolivia.

00:48There's a lot of paperwork and blood work that needs to be sent out and processed.

00:53What will happen is he'll be in a foster family in the meantime, and I'll be back in a couple months to pick him up when everything's all ready.

01:06When I saw Chase again, it was amazing.

01:11He remembered who I was and we were so happy.

01:13Good boy!

01:16It was a long and tedious process and challenging by moments, but the stars aligned to help bring us back together.

01:27On the way back, he was so good, just laying beside me all the time.

01:32Just landed in Miami. Almost there.

01:36As soon as we landed, I finally felt relief.

01:39We just had this long drive to Tennessee.

01:42That's my beautiful boy.

01:44We went on a little hike to give him time to stretch his legs.

01:54When he first arrived, he felt like right at home.

02:01I've been nomadic for over two years, but traveling with Chase is definitely different than traveling alone.

02:07So, I picked up this van and it became our little home on wheels.

02:22We're ready to get our hands and paws dirty here in the Mojave Desert.

02:27We drove from Tennessee through Oklahoma, New Mexico, the Grand Canyon.

02:33He's funny because he always tries to make me laugh.

02:51I can be traveling to the farthest corner of the planet, but I have my backpack.

03:00He needs his beauty rest. Look at the little smile.

03:04But we're going to be making our way to Tennessee shortly.

03:07So, we're hitting the road. It's about 7 a.m.

03:10And we have a couple hours left before we reach our final destination.

03:14I feel like I just grow a little bit more in love with him every day.
