GrainKing’s 220-tonne motherbin turns heads at FarmFest

The massive Maximus bin highlights innovation in grain storage at scale.

00:00So you're standing in front of our Maxillus mother bin, 220 tonne.

00:05It's one of the biggest mother bins in the world.

00:08We also do a 300 tonne, but yeah, this one is at the Farm Fest in Toowoomba,

00:12and I think it's pretty impressive.

00:14My grandfather started this business.

00:17It was originally known as Trufab Farm Machinery.

00:201981 when it started, and then, yeah, my dad and his brothers carried it forward

00:25and then down to myself today.

00:27Mostly they get towed behind a prime mover.

00:30The 220 tonne here can be also floated on a drop-deck extendable,

00:35but the majority of them are towed.

00:38The 220 tonne here spec as it is, this has got a remote control limit,

00:42and the location tyres, you're looking around about, you know,

00:46420,000 plus the GST.
