00:00Good evening South Carolina Democrats. It is always so good to be back home right
00:12here in the Palmetto State of South Carolina. Folks, before we get to
00:17business, let me give some well-earned flowers to a few people. First, to the
00:26woman who has been holding it down and building us up, our State Party Chair
00:33Crystal Spain. Y'all, Crystal is not here to play. She's here to win. And because of
00:48her leadership, we are more organized, we are more energized, and we are more
00:53focused than ever before. And I am going to be on record right now to the South
01:00Carolina Republican Party. 2026 is going to be a reckoning. We gonna have people look
01:10at South Carolina a little differently, and that is because of the leadership of
01:14our Madam Chair, Crystal Spain. And folks, let's hear it for my brother-in-arms,
01:21Governor Wes Moore. Governor Moore is one of the boldest voices in the country, and he
01:33is a man who represents the best of what our party and our country can be. You're
01:38going to hear from him shortly, and trust me, you will leave here fired up and ready
01:45to go. But now, my friends, and of course you will hear from the Dean of our
01:52delegation, the one and only, you know, give me one Jim Clyburn to a hundred Nancy
02:01Maces, or Lindsey Graham's, or Tim Scott's. Hell, give me 10,000 Nancy Maces and Tim
02:09Scott's, because they still won't measure up to one Jim Clyburn. But folks, now let me
02:15introduce a man who has been in the trenches with me for years. From the halls
02:22of Congress to the campaign trail, and now leading one of the most forward-thinking
02:28states in the country. Folks, I met Tim Walls when he was a freshman member of
02:33Congress, a former public school teacher, a National Guard veteran, who came to
02:40Washington from a district that people thought that we would not win, but in
02:442006 he showed them that we could, and then we did. He came to Washington with
02:51something rare, a backbone and a heart. And when I was DNC chair, he stepped up as our
02:59vice presidential nominee. This man put it all on the line. He didn't run for the
03:07show, or he didn't run for show. He ran with soul. He met the moment with grit, grace,
03:13and an unshakable conviction. And as governor of Minnesota, he has been an
03:20absolute force. While Republicans play games with our children's future, Tim
03:25Walls made sure every single kid in his state got access to free school meals, no
03:31matter their zip code, no matter their income, no matter their race. Because in
03:38his state of Minnesota, no child goes hungry, period. While MAGA extremists rip
03:45away, or try to rip away rights, rewrite history and distract with lies, Governor
03:50Walls is getting shit done. He's protecting abortion rights, he's investing in
03:58teachers, he's standing up for democracy, and he is delivering for working families.
04:04He is proof that when Democrats lead with purpose, we change lives. We don't just
04:09talk, we govern. So if you are tired of cowards and culture wars, if you're ready for real
04:17leadership that puts people first, then join me in giving a South Carolina welcome to a
04:23true public servant, a fearless fighter, and one hell of a Democrat. Folks, welcome Governor Tim Walls.
