00:04the famed restaurant will be offering private tours of their culinary garden.
00:08The French Laundry has always had a little kitchen garden, which started with a handful
00:11of herbs just outside the back door and grew organically over the decades.
00:15Today, the garden is 3.5 acres and home to more than 150 different varieties of fruits,
00:21vegetables, micro-herbs, and flowers, as well as about 30 chickens and thousands of honeybees.
00:28You might get to pull up a purple plum radish, pop off a mara des bois strawberry,
00:32and get a mini taste of micro-mint. And in fine dining style, there might be a few surprises,
00:37like a glass of bubbles, scoop of seasonal sorbet, and rustic tote bag to take home.
