00:03Who's the bigger star in either the National Football League

00:06or Major League Baseball over the next five years,

00:09Jaden Daniels or James Wood?

00:11Now, before this past week,

00:13the one area where I think Jaden completely clears James Wood

00:17out of the park is the stardom, the it factor, the marketability.

00:24I just talked about James.

00:2622, but he's quiet, calm, cool, collected.

00:29And that's no slight to who he is, right, as a person.

00:33By all accounts, tremendous young man by the performance that he gives you at the plate.

00:38Super hardworking, team first guy.

00:41Love everything about him.

00:43But we talk about this, and we talk about this all the time.

00:46Jaden's got aura.

00:48Not saying that James Wood doesn't have aura.

00:50It's a different type of aura, right?

00:52I told you from now on, I'm calling him Papa James.

00:54If you remember last week, the commercial that comes out via Papa John's,

01:01and I was stunned to see it because when you think about James Wood's personality

01:06and what he's shown you to this point,

01:08it didn't seem like a guy that's going to be pressed to be in a bunch of commercials.

01:11Not saying that he is.

01:12But seeing him in that Papa John's commercial made me go,

01:14hmm, man, think about what it could be with this dude.

01:17Think about what it is and what it ain't with James Wood.

01:22Bonafide star.

01:23And now that the marketing stuff is coming his way,

01:25the advertisements, the attention dollars, so to speak,

01:29I think his stardom only grows.

01:31But when we're talking about

01:33who's the bigger star in their sport over the next five years,

01:37I think the other layer of this conversation we got to get into

01:40is, and it's hard to, once again, I'm admitting this,

01:44it's hard to quantify.

01:45I get it.

01:47Is James Wood a better hitter

01:49than Jaden Daniels is a quarterback?

01:53And I know that's something that's, I get it,

01:56super difficult to quantify.

01:59But I guess it just speaks to,

02:00it's really out of respect for James Wood, man.
