Campaign to monitor child's brain development launched

Celebrity couple Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado, along with their daughter Dylan, opens up about their parenting journey and the challenges they face in supporting their child’s development during the launch of healthcare company Abbott, and their new campaign aimed at supporting early childhood brain development in Bonifacio Global City on May 31, 2025. Dr. Josie Eusebio, a developmental and behavioral pediatrician, highlighted that tracking children’s milestones doesn’t have to be complicated—a task that some parents find challenging. To address this, attendees received a Milestone Tracker, a helpful tool that outlines key developmental benchmarks across four domains: cognitive, language, physical, and social-emotional.

00:00So Josie, how does neural processes relate to my child's learning?
00:06Well, that's a great question, Jen.
00:09So as I have, I think you were hearing it a little earlier.
00:14So neurons are like the tiny building blocks of your child's brain.
00:20And then these neurons, they connect with each other through a process called synoptogenesis.
00:27And basically, it's how learning starts to happen.
00:33Every connection helps your child.
