00:00Hello and a very good Friday evening to you. There's been plenty of showers across far
00:04northeast of Scotland and a few cloudy areas across the Midlands through today, but most
00:08places turning fairly calm and quite dry overnight. But it will be quite humid. We've got warm air
00:13across much of the UK, particularly across the southern half. All change though through the
00:17weekend. We've got low pressure sweeping through and behind this cold front there'll be cooler and
00:21fresher air moving across all of the UK by the time we head through Sunday. Further frontal
00:26systems, particularly through the north where it could be quite blustery as well. Back to this
00:31evening though. So here we had some few short sharp showers across the far northeast of Scotland and
00:36we've had that frontal system weakening through this evening as well. It could turn quite murky
00:40around the coasts of Wales and Devon and Cornwall through this evening, but elsewhere further east
00:44it'll be a fairly dry and clear night. It will be fairly mild as well to start the day. Most places
00:51will be starting the day in double figures and it'll be feeling quite mild. Coolest temperatures
00:55across the far northern Isles to start the day on Saturday. Heading through the rest of the morning
01:00then. So again a bright start to the day for the east and for the far southeast of the UK and that
01:05will be where the best of the sunshine will remain throughout Saturday. Elsewhere this weakening frontal
01:10system gets a reinvigoration as we head through Saturday morning, giving some sharp showers for
01:14northern England later on. Meanwhile the cold fronts pushing through parts of Northern Ireland. At times
01:20this could be quite heavy, but it won't last too long. Most places should see that rain moving through
01:25a couple of hours as well. So definitely a north-west-south-east split to the weather on
01:30Saturday and we'll notice that change with the temperatures as well. Teens in that cooler,
01:35fresher air for parts of Northern Ireland, but elsewhere across England and particularly
01:39southeast England, we could see temperatures up to 26 and maybe even 27 for parts of East Anglia.
01:47Heading through Saturday evening then. So holding onto that drier picture across the southern half of the UK,
01:52showers continuing to bluster through across parts of Scotland. And then we have this wrap-around
01:57feature feeding into Northern Ireland and Western Scotland, giving further heavy rain in towards the
02:02start of Sunday. Dryer elsewhere across the UK and it could still be quite mild across the very far
02:07southeast to start the day, but turning a touch cooler and back into single figures for parts of Northern Ireland as well.
02:15Through Sunday then, it's going to be a much fresher feel for all. Parts of Northern Ireland and Western Scotland still
02:21going to be seeing fairly persistent rain under that frontal band as it slowly moves east. Best of any
02:26sunshine will be across the southern half of the UK, particularly parts of Wales and the southeast
02:30again with the best of the sunshine there. Temperatures still be a touchdown on what we're going to be
02:36seeing on Saturday and at best into perhaps 22, 23 degrees. So noticeably feeling cooler and there'll be a
02:44touch of a breeze as well. Further north at best it'll be the mid-teens for Northern Ireland and for Scotland.
02:51Heading through the rest of Sunday, it will calm down for a while, but there will be further
02:55unsettled weather in the mix into the new working week. If you'd like to find out any more,
02:59please do check out Further Forecasts on our YouTube channel.
