00:00Hello there, good afternoon. We got to 19 degrees Celsius yesterday and it's still
00:05going to be another mild afternoon but more cloud filling the skies
00:09particularly across northern parts of Wales, northern parts of England, this
00:12band of cloud and rain slowly edging its way northwards. Can't rule out a few
00:16showers across the southwest parts of Wales later but for many even though
00:20there's going to be a bit more cloud around it still should remain mostly dry
00:24particularly across parts of the southeast, East Anglia, Sussex and Kent.
00:28That's likely where we'll see the best of the brightness, also some sunny spells
00:31and still some sunshine breaking through that cloud across northern parts of
00:35England and taking a look at those temperatures it is still very mild for
00:39the time of year. Highs of 16 possibly 17 or 18 Celsius once again where we see
00:44that sunshine stick around. Then through into the evening we'll see this band of
00:49cloud and rain once again continue to slowly edge its way northwards. That
00:52means it's going to be quite a wet start across Scotland as we head into the
00:56weekend but for many most of that cloud clearing away though with clearer skies
00:59there is a chance we could see some fog patches by the morning and perhaps a bit
01:03more cloud across parts of Cornwall, perhaps a few showers moving through
01:07here towards the early part of the morning as we find ourselves between two
01:10frontal systems there's plenty of mild air still so it's largely going to be a
01:13frost free start to the weekend. Plenty of low cloud and murk across Scotland to
01:19start on Saturday outbreaks of rain still continuing to edge their way
01:23northwards moving into the Northern Isles as we head towards the afternoon.
01:26Still some higher cloud across the southwest the odd shower so any sunshine
01:30turning a little bit milky but for the majority of the country dry, bright even
01:35some sunny spells and still very mild for the time of year particularly across
01:39northwestern parts of England. Highs of 18 or 19 Celsius once again possible. Now
01:45what about for the rest of the weekend? Well we've still got low pressure
01:48towards Iberia still dragging in some frontal systems to northern areas so
01:52some cloud here at times once again some cloud spilling into the south at
01:57times too but for many we still remain in that milder air so a mild night to
02:01come a mild start to Sunday and once again lots of dry weather around lots of
02:05sunshine so very settled end to the weekend still though those outbreaks of
02:10rain lingering on across northern parts of Scotland perhaps the odd heavier
02:13burst here but once again very mild for the time of year. Highs once again could
02:18possibly reach 18 to 19 Celsius where we see the sunshine for the longest
02:22particularly across central and southeastern parts. Now if you're a fan of
02:27the milder weather and the sunshine well now's the time to enjoy it. High pressure
02:31around Iceland drags in a bit more of a northerly flow across the country so
02:35drags in colder air as we head into next week so a good chance we could see some
02:39sleet or snow showers particularly across high ground and likely we'll see
02:42a return of the overnight frost. So this weekend is the chance to enjoy the
02:46sunshine and the warmer weather. Bye bye.
