00:10so this edition man i'm on the road right now metro parkway big beaver it's called penn station

00:16and some of my best tasting subs are at penn station so what i like about penn station man

00:20their fries ain't nobody gonna beat their fries hands down because they're so fresh

00:25cut right off the potato man i can eat these fries for days they got some of the best subs hey this

00:33sandwich right here is called a hot mess it's a version of a steak sandwich right but a steak

00:37sandwich on steroids let me tell you what's on here they got the sauteed onions the mushrooms

00:42the grilled bell peppers and the pizza sauce on white bread with mayo and mustard look at this

00:48bad boy i love that bread like a like a french baguette bread look at this man that's a hot

00:54mess that's a hot mess look at that oh my god look at that still smoking right

00:59you gotta try one of these for yourself only at penn station sub let me buy

01:02yeah i'm coming over here man how's it going buddy you see i'm enjoying myself right oh yeah

01:10so on the menu you guys got several different sandwiches talking about different ones besides

01:14the ones we have here well you've probably heard about it from one of the other customers we have

01:17an artichoke sandwich it's kind of like yeah so it's kind of like a lighter option if you're

01:21not into all the uh the meats and the cheeses and all that sort of stuff currently on special

01:25right now for this month we're promoting the dagwood which is like a uh create your own

01:29okay so you can choose the meat the cheese it's like a deli sandwich so so every month you do a

01:33special every month they do a special here at penn station so what does that lumpy special look

01:37like uh so you can choose between a small regular sandwich which is like uh think of it like a

01:43six nine or a 12 inch give or take and you get to combo that with a fry and a drink and if you

01:48depending on what size you go no matter what you can get a free upgrade to our fresh squeezed

01:53lemon i love it now lemonade is incredible everything you make here is fresh talk about

01:58the fries man that's a favorite i was asking customers when they come in they like have

02:02you tried the fries i'm of course what makes you guys fries so different it's so good and juicy

02:07and it's everything man personally i think it has something to do with the peanut oil that

02:10we use it's a really good brand but also you know it's it's it's all about quality we come

02:15here like seven eight o'clock in the morning we we hand cut all the fries fresh slice all the

02:19cheese the meat so it's all about quality ingredients right no doubt and plus too you

02:23got an option to put malt vinegar on your fries where they come from i don't know i i've personally

02:30tried it once but um i believe now i feel like we hand wore that out than ketchup yeah yes you

02:35know what you want ketchup malt vinegar with your fries a lot of people ask for malt vinegar well the

02:38malt vinegar i think is even more healthier version of of of ketchup sometimes right i think i heard that

02:42too yeah what do we have here so this would be the italian okay the cheesecake is like our uh

02:47mascot sandwich okay that way but the italian i'm selling that all day every day you can get

02:51it it's uh amongst with our other deli sandwiches you can get it done hot or cold typically people

02:56do it off the grill but if you're going to have it like later on in the day or like tomorrow's

02:59lunch i'd say get it cold this is right here what is this man that's the club oh i see the bacon

03:04right there get the bacon blt we have really good honey mustard on that a lot of people like our

03:09honey mustard honey mustard blt this right here man oh my god the teriyaki baby typically it comes

03:14with the options of uh sauteed onions and mushrooms but i'll see people throws like sauteed uh banana

03:18peppers on there yes yes my personal favorite though is actually uh anything on here we can turn into a

03:23salad or a wrap really i typically go for the uh the rabbit for the teriyaki um it's like a cheddar

03:29jalapeno flavor it's actually really nice to come out as well what separates you guys from every other

03:33sub place well i have to rotate back to the whole um fresh ingredients thing we we're doing it all

03:39all from scratch in the morning but it's also we're orientated around uh customers customer service

03:43customer relations uh separation through service so the owner man first started up in station you

03:48were telling me about 27 years ago yeah it might be even going close to 23 years back okay his father

03:53opened a penn station the first franchise open uh rochester hills uh rochester um it's on second

04:00in maine it's been there the entire time it's at the same location wow and that's where i did a lot

04:05of my training you know trying to get acclimatized over here yeah yeah and no we we own like six

04:10locations on the franchise now give me some location give me some cities rochester hall and gratiot i'm

04:15oakland township uh the most recent one uh we have one on 19 and garfield that was that's brand new

04:20within the past year or two okay we also have uh beverly hills we do have a location way out in novi

04:26and that's kind of out of the way go west go where everybody's like we have fans out west man go west

04:30and check out penn station and you know what aaron won't be at that one he's always at this one right

04:35here on a metro parkway in sterling heights that's what i love about this y'all i want you to tell you
