00:00:18we we we screwed up we messed up and i almost got a
00:00:24guys we're here with a special cause tonight it's going to be howie cheney
00:00:32it's going to be joseph from wrestle talk over there to the right
00:00:35sir william from wrestling with a cause and let's just
00:00:42what is wrestling with a cause so wrestling for a cause it was um originally founded in
00:00:502014 and basically we made it to to partner with local organizations
00:00:55and to raise money for like relay for life
00:00:58breast cancer american cancer society and children's
00:01:02miracle network and then the professor and i
00:01:07the professor and i got together in 2019 and officially formed as an llc
00:01:13and we filed for a
00:01:14next level and we became a
00:01:21and do goes towards children's who picked one
00:01:28point and that's what we went after so uh children's miracle network
00:01:33erlanger that's for kids that's what we're all about
00:01:38well i we were kind of dropping you but we got it most of it uh professor so
00:01:43you are now official charity and i i was at your event for the
00:01:47and for the folks that don't realize how good your events are
00:01:51um your recent event was headlined with a couple of school of morton
00:01:57or soem legacy wrestlers alex summers a big name locally
00:02:02it is an event that not only do you raise money for these great causes
00:02:08they're great wrestling events
00:02:10yeah it's really good stuff i mean josh turner was there with us
00:02:16uh evan gold they came so it was a really good show
00:02:19uh really had a good time uh we have we did
00:02:22a couple years ago we had uh the gallows um
00:02:26the good brothers came and it was zicky dice versus
00:02:29them and swinger uh johnny swinger and it was actually tna's uh digital impact show
00:02:35of the week our match of the week uh so everything we do though we use it to try
00:02:40to bring together local indie um wrestlers and then of course people
00:02:46that's already inside the business um in a more elevated level and we allow
00:02:50them to interconnect and then work together and they learn stuff from each
00:02:54other and they grow um so we give those kind of opportunities whilst you know those
00:02:58so those high quality matches and then still of course that independent levels
00:03:02like twa pikeville we did them um and then of course warpath we're working
00:03:07with them uh we've done some stuff with rcw
00:03:11it's here local in chatsworth uh they're a really good organization
00:03:15uh we've done stuff with used to be ccd uh ccw
00:03:18out of uh rossville tennessee uh we've went to championship one wrestling uh when
00:03:24iswa was down in uh somerville we did stuff with them
00:03:28uh we just do stuff with everyone uh that way it's not just localized to us we
00:03:32don't really have a banter of the old territory days where everyone's kind of
00:03:36separate we just do everything together with everyone
00:03:39and try to bring awareness to everyone so it just grows the business because
00:03:43ultimately we want everyone to feel included
00:03:46inside of ours because our ultimate goal is to not be a wrestling organization
00:03:51it's really to be the non-profit to raise money for the kids so
00:03:54that's what we do and that's how we move forward and then bringing great talent
00:03:57just this past weekend uh me and will were at momocon
00:04:01uh for ziki das's big uh bent down there uh hung out with him saturday
00:04:06so some of those guys we knew they've come up and done stuff with us so
00:04:09we do stuff with ziki he's come on our television show and done stuff so
00:04:13it's really cool when we get to hang out with
00:04:15all the different people and uh work through i mean on our intro we have alex
00:04:19summers josh um up there from ricky morton we have uh
00:04:23mike clay who's part of awf they do a great show there with paulie and ringgold
00:04:28um so he's the viral champion but we do stuff with everybody
00:04:32we don't try to exclude anyone and we try to just promote them and do it as an
00:04:36overall and then like i said it ultimately it
00:04:40raises money for the kids hospital so uh so joseph i'll come to you next one
00:04:45question i do have is you support so many uh causes do you
00:04:50is each show spread over several causes or do you try to concentrate
00:04:55on a cause with each show yeah so it's concentrated over
00:04:59every show is concentrated toward making money for erlanger hospital
00:05:03that's what we decided to do so if you look back at some of the earlier stuff
00:05:06that will did and i did separately it was for cmn breast cancer we've done
00:05:10different causes throughout the show sometimes
00:05:13we've done benefits um for someone that's got sick but we decided to form
00:05:18officially uh our main focus was to help kids um that's going through the
00:05:23hospital or be able to go to the hospital
00:05:26uh my daughter was in an accident when she was younger on a bike
00:05:29so she went to the hospital and they saved her
00:05:32um so and then will has that same story with his daughter
00:05:36um so we just want to be able to give back
00:05:39and really make sure the hospital gets everything they need that we can possibly
00:05:43give to them so someone else's family can say hey
00:05:47my kid's still alive today and being able to you know
00:05:50enjoy all those moments you get to have um as they grow up so
00:05:54i wasn't a kid but i was 32 years old and drove under a log truck spent seven
00:05:58months in erlanger and siskin and
00:06:01i function i work uh i'm able to have a high quality of life
00:06:05thanks to the wonderful professionals at both places so i understand exactly
00:06:11what you're going and and for children it's even more
00:06:15precious because they got their whole life in front of them
00:06:18oh yeah it's so good so like greer um she was one of our hall of fame kids
00:06:24um that was part of cmn years ago and she still does a lot of active stuff but
00:06:28she was injured by a horse she was around five and now she just
00:06:33graduated last week so you know just getting to spend time with her
00:06:38dalton i mean he was in a car accident extremely bad back injury i mean now he's
00:06:44he comes into matches and does stuff with us you know and again we do limited
00:06:48stuff you know because we're super cautious with the kids we don't want to
00:06:51get hurt you know wrestling's very acrobatics and theatrical things that go
00:06:56on in there um so while a lot of people may say oh this is fake you know it's
00:07:00very easy to get hurt in there so we're very cautious with the kids
00:07:03depending on how they want to do we had another young lady she's in college right
00:07:06now um she was a cheerleader back when she
00:07:09got inducted her name's tiana a friend of mine's child named jackson
00:07:15he had a pnet tumor uh survived that so now he's 17 you know years later
00:07:20uh joel he's the uh young guy that we just put in last year
00:07:25uh we call him the lethal striker he's in a wheelchair but he does karate
00:07:30he does stuff for baseball um he comes on the show i mean he's just so
00:07:34strong that's just crazy um how active and engaged and just seeing
00:07:39them you know and the parents talking to them demi
00:07:42uh she's one of the young ladies uh she's ring she just rang the bell not
00:07:46last year two years ago um and you know now she's all good to go
00:07:52so and then this year we're looking at inducting a whitley uh runyon so that's
00:07:56live here we haven't told anybody that yet
00:07:58um so it's she's the cmn poster child this year for walmart
00:08:02um so that's going to be exciting to have her there and in the show we just
00:08:06did we just raised three thousand dollars and
00:08:08working with just the local walmart's and um over there in lafayette and tron so
00:08:13in matroth and we're going to do a big um event we call the hall of fame induction
00:08:18and we'll bring her up and talk about it and duck so it's pretty cool that's
00:08:21awesome hey joseph uh go ahead and kick it off i can tell
00:08:25on that smile right now it touches your heart already
00:08:28i'm already i've got a i hear just tell stories i've got a couple questions and
00:08:34professor uh and or william whoever wants to answer
00:08:36them you just let it go so we mainly focus on wrestle talk with rabid beaver about
00:08:41independent wrestling and the independent wrestling scene
00:08:44and people that come and go in through it and i'm gonna have to ask you about
00:08:48somebody because you mentioned him twice you mentioned
00:08:50zicky dice nwa superstar awa superstar and he's all over the territory system
00:08:57making a name for himself and winning championships all over
00:09:00but do you think that he's afraid of evan golden the golden child
00:09:04because he seems to be ducking him every chance that he gets
00:09:09yeah i i'll let will speak as well but i'm pretty sure after what i've seen this
00:09:14weekend again just reinforcing zicky dice
00:09:17if you can pull off an old school fanny pack and make it cool and still stay
00:09:21relevant today i'm pretty sure you're not afraid to go after anyone because
00:09:25the outlandish one um has no shame so i i don't think he's dodging i think
00:09:31it's more of him making him wait and come to him
00:09:35uh and moving toward his territory so i i've seen the dice move excellently that way
00:09:39uh i would second that completely um zicky dice has had some amazing matches with us i mean the
00:09:47match that he had the fly guy was so hard hitting and so incredible what a great match that was but
00:09:52on top of that i mean he's gotten involved as a special referee he's he's fought doc gallows i mean
00:09:59like he has he's not afraid of anybody um but i think he's more cerebral i definitely think he's
00:10:04that kind of a wrestler so i think exactly right he's writing he's waiting for right time right
00:10:10place for evan golden hey joseph representative vice president of the evan golden fan club here
00:10:18thank you that there we go that's been said go ahead for those of you that don't know my wife is
00:10:24the president and he's the vice president and uh we talk about evan golden quite a bit even behind
00:10:28closed doors uh we're real big fans of evan but we we know that wrestling for a cause has not only
00:10:34decided to move forward with him as a champion but you had lots of new champions crowned at your event
00:10:39in la fea including javen myra who won a ladder match uh and ended up with a title there let's talk
00:10:45about that for just a second guys so tell us about the new title tell us about your new champion
00:10:50and what you expect from him in the days to come well i'll jump in here i may have to jump off so i'll
00:10:57jump in real quick so um javen is a powerhouse and for him to come in there at the very end
00:11:03i mean that f5 was epic that he gave i mean one of the most vicious ones i've ever seen so to answer
00:11:10your question this the children's miracle network title um has created we we created it honestly a
00:11:16few years back it has been around for several years um it bounces in this north georgia chattanooga
00:11:22area and that was up for grabs that night on in that ladder match and he just swooped in and just
00:11:28took everyone out um absolutely amazing match and um he will be that champion now going forward so
00:11:36we will see um how long he can retain it yeah it was it was a hard-hitting match i mean he came in
00:11:43and dominated um just for him to just roll in there and steamroll the other two stores main picks and
00:11:50just light everyone up and just take the win like that it was amazing i know talking to the store
00:11:56managers afterwards they were like this guy's just absolutely carnage waiting to happen and you know
00:12:03again touching back on evan gold you know he competed earlier that night as well
00:12:08not taking anything away from him i think the match between him and ziki das it could go either
00:12:14way because i think he's just as talented as uh ziki is as well so i definitely definitely see
00:12:21good things on the horizon i definitely want to see that match that's going to be awesome
00:12:26well professor we're really excited to see it but you have to realize that the way that javen meyer
00:12:30came in and took over that match with two other competitors he put the entire locker room on notice
00:12:37that he is the man and he's going to be the man there at wrestling for a cause for many years to
00:12:43come and there is bright things in his future and so by that i mean no offense to ziki dice
00:12:50no offense to evan golden no offense to josh turner no offense to sir theodore or anybody else that's
00:12:56working with you guys alex summers anybody gary bell any of them but you've got somebody there
00:13:01that is going to make be making waves and shaking the water as hard as he can until he gets what
00:13:06he wants out of you guys and would you say that that's fair to say sir oh 100 yeah he his path
00:13:13is for him to cut through if we were looking at a forest and it was thick trees he would be the
00:13:18guy just mowing through the trees looking out to making the clearing not waiting for the clearing to
00:13:22show up so i agree 100 his future is bright and i think he's going to move well to the competition and
00:13:28everyone better not underestimate him i mean after that f5 he gave to kyle unexpected unexpectedly
00:13:36i mean that was brutal devastating oh absolutely i couldn't agree with you more uh we've talked
00:13:42about that you also have new tag team champions and we've got to talk about some other stuff that goes
00:13:47on with those tag team champions now especially now that we've got some question marks about the next few
00:13:52events with tko being there for you guys so what's going to happen between alex summers and tko
00:13:59and where do we go from here now that we know what's going on with josh turner
00:14:05so josh i don't know josh right now is in his position he still swears he's going to make his
00:14:11comeback um i know him and alex summers don't see eye to eye they have feuded heavily especially with
00:14:17john bishop um the juicy one uh they've all kind of been like wrapped up in this kind of
00:14:23really feuding way so i really feel like josh has the abilities to come back and i feel like that
00:14:29summers is really going to hold strong until josh comes back because there was a moment that during
00:14:35the show where they were actually communicating uh even though they were separate and i feel like josh
00:14:41even though he resents alex um is more loving of the belts and you've seen the pictures of him holding
00:14:47all the different golds i feel like that's going to kind of take precedent over his hatred of alex so
00:14:52just my opinion i think it really storms from the united states championship i think all three of
00:14:57those men that you mentioned john bishop alex summers and tko have really feuded over that united states
00:15:03championship and they've refuted hard over that united states championship each of them wants to have
00:15:08possession of it and wants to be the united states champion and i think that that's where the rivalry
00:15:12really stems from and uh i mean it's very prestigious especially at wrestling for a cause
00:15:18to be the united states champion it puts you in a different level and for different people to see
00:15:22you as a champion and not only that you get to carry it with you wherever you go into the the territory
00:15:27system so everybody gets to see you be the united states champion for wrestling for a cause
00:15:32wherever you go so i think it's a big big ego booster for them and it's something that all of
00:15:37them are possessive about is that fair to say sir oh yes absolutely i mean you know just being the
00:15:44honor of being able to walk around with that belt um you know when we made that belt we really wanted
00:15:49to bring back a level because you know we have the heavyweight championship but we wanted something
00:15:53else to kind of strive up um so people could kind of get in make it really important sort of like
00:15:59the old intercontinental belt uh from the wwe days you know it was like a really strong
00:16:04not a starter belt um it was something that meant something and then to be able to walk around with
00:16:08that belt and say you know you're representing for the kids in the united states um especially for
00:16:14chattanooga i think it's a really huge honor and i know multiple times talking to josh about it and
00:16:19then even alex the importance of them having that belt around their waist and just the battles they've
00:16:24gone through i mean i've seen alex walk out of a match with juicy john bishop where he just had
00:16:29whelps and bruises just because john went after him so hard to win i mean he just beat him with a
00:16:34kendo stick uh until he just about couldn't walk and locked him down so yes i think it's a huge win
00:16:41uh just because you know you're representing the kids and you're making you know money for the hospital
00:16:46and so it creates that thing and when you take into other territories like oh you're the champion
00:16:50but like yeah but i'm the champion that's raising money for a hospital for a call so i think it's a huge deal
00:16:55so yes i would agree with you 100 that's why they fought so hard for it i'm going to flip back to
00:17:00howie or qb1 either of you take over guys howard go ahead sir professor how does it feel to uh speak
00:17:08blasphemy on here by thinking that evan golden could actually lose a match yeah i'm telling you i my heart
00:17:15skipped a beat there for a minute but i'm okay it's okay um it it's one of the things to where i don't know
00:17:23evan gold as well as i know zicky das uh so i'm going to use it as one of the things of
00:17:28i don't have enough knowledge yet being the professor i like to go off on everything i got
00:17:33data wise analytically um so all i know is a lot more about um sticky das than i do but i will say
00:17:40based off of me watching him that night there's definitely room for concern there i just don't
00:17:45want evan to underestimate but i don't think he will i think i think you'll be ready so i think we
00:17:50booked a match here somewhere down the road that's all i'm saying go ahead howie yeah um professor if
00:17:57you want to come back on here again you better change your tune about evan golden or the uh the
00:18:02man that runs the show over here will not invite you back he's okay you know i can't help my love of
00:18:08evan golden hey i love is it love or is it obsession obsession with evan golden i love ziggy
00:18:18dies let me take it that way me and the man to my my immediate left right here we text you know
00:18:26fairly regular on an everyday basis and it's like every day there's at least evan golden comment in
00:18:32there at least once if not three times look sir william they're all about evan you're united states
00:18:38champion evan golden i am 100 on board that evan is great but i am 200 on board that zicky dice is the
00:18:47man um i'm a huge zicky fan i do not have a problem with saying it i think he represents our championship
00:18:55that beautiful championship behind the professor right there that's the the total that's our total
00:19:01title yes we patterned it maybe after a intercontinental title that we liked very heavily
00:19:07it has it definitely has some similarities but i mean if you guys haven't seen any of his stuff from
00:19:12this past weekend i mean he is smooth in the ring getting better every time zicky did a pop-up power
00:19:17bomb that was just amazing and the silent match i don't know if you guys saw that but he had
00:19:23yeah he was pretty on point this weekend well they they they brought up evan because i'm the biggest
00:19:30fan professor you're always welcome back even if we are just about evan and he died i will
00:19:39up to the side for wrestling with a cause because y'all are that special hey howie one question can you um
00:19:50um we're gonna go down to dalton y'all are gonna have talent down there at matrotham have you booked
00:20:00everybody that's gonna be there so far or are we still in for some surprises down the road
00:20:06we're still in for a surprise um we are reworking a couple of things just due to real life things that
00:20:11have happened obviously i'm sure you guys know um so obviously there's some things that are in the works
00:20:16but um we are still going to have you know the the nwa us tag team champions there in action that's
00:20:24going to be very very impressive uh that will happen live right there so you're going to get
00:20:29to see a nwa title match uh and that will be the first one i've ever gotten to see live so and it'll
00:20:35be at one of our shows so i mean that's going to be a cool moment i think for wrestling fans because
00:20:39i mean amazing tag team some great talent at the school of morton will be on uh display as well the
00:20:46school of morton um scramble match that we have planned coming up is going to be absolutely great
00:20:51i think that's really really show off the talent obviously you aforementioned evan golden the u.s
00:20:56title will be on the line so that's exciting um we've got a tv championship that's going to be on the
00:21:03line so we've got some exciting title matches back to back to back planned and at least one
00:21:08surprise we're working on so we'll see if we can pull everything off i'm going to throw a surprise
00:21:13how you take over after i throw the surprise i'm sorry i interrupted you next two weeks those very
00:21:19nwa united states tag team champions that you're talking about will be here talking about the
00:21:24program and talking about working with us aj cassano will be on next week and casey because
00:21:32week after the country gentleman which to me is one of the biggest um coups for the calls that ever
00:21:40exists is having these two jump come work your program that's right the globetrotters will be here
00:21:48they are big guys they're very powerful they're very strong uh been very impressed with what we've
00:21:53seen from them so i'm excited to get to actually have them in our organization
00:21:56randy go ahead and tell them about the third week i know you want to evan golden
00:22:05united states heavyweight champion for wrestling with a cause we'll be here to promote his parents
00:22:11in dalton three weeks from now hey and we're not we're not we're not going to we're not going to
00:22:18bring up zicky does during that period go ahead howie yeah quick comment real quick bobby's
00:22:24flound says zicky is cool but he's not as great as the 24 7 champion hardcore champion jordan mcclure
00:22:30um guys i've got both of you here let you kind of spoke on the reason that you do this because each
00:22:37one of you had owes a lot to erlanger and everything for the your kids out of everything in the world
00:22:46why wrestling did you start this up to make it a charity
00:22:54well sir william do you want to kick it or you want me to start um well i'll just say this you
00:22:59know i mean i think both the professor and i have been lifelong wrestling fans um so it's a chance to
00:23:05do good in our community do good for kids do good for the hospital do good for charities in general
00:23:11while at the same time you know kind of living our own dreams out by being able to run the
00:23:17organization and i've been chasing the professor for a long time before he and i we knew of each
00:23:23other but really you know didn't get to work together he did a show that became internet famous
00:23:30and uh then i did a show which was the birth of you know what we are in 2014 for the breast cancer
00:23:37and then it wasn't until you know we became great friends and now you know brother from another
00:23:41mother we're on the board and in 2019 when we came together to say let's take this seriously
00:23:48and take it to the next level so i've been chasing him for a long time
00:23:54yeah for me i mean story similar i remember um my grandfather he was a huge huge huge wrestling fan
00:24:02and he always would talk about he's like how cool will it be to own your own wrestling show and stuff
00:24:07like that and then when me and will became friends and talking about it and then you know we were like
00:24:13what can we do with this and he was telling me he did the calls and i was like you know that's a good
00:24:17idea so then we decided that based off of what we went through with our kids and just working
00:24:22together and talking we're like why do we not just merge these two things and make greatness out of
00:24:26it and i mean that's how we kind of decided to do it it's awesome uh i was all three of us was at the
00:24:34show in lafayette the other night and uh one of the best shows i've been to in a long time and uh
00:24:40looking forward to going to another that y'all have a quick comment real quick a uh as great as ziggy
00:24:46dice and hardcore uh hardcore is i have to give it to my boy mike clay interesting okay mike clay has
00:25:00almost held every single title that we have so he he's out there just winning title after title um
00:25:08i think the only title he has left is the u.s title so that's it how often y'all have uh people
00:25:16come up or wrestlers come up say hey i i want to perform no no charge or whatever let me perform
00:25:22to help out with the wrestling for cause how often do y'all have that happen uh it's it's actually
00:25:28pretty often um but we rarely let people do that unless they really just are like persistent about it
00:25:36because when we made this organization we talked a lot about that and you know a lot of people we want
00:25:43everyone to fear like they're feel like they're treated fairly and definitely not taken advantage
00:25:48of so we you know we make sure we have plans in place to pay people you know even if it's as little
00:25:54as you know hey we at least take gas money for driving up here because we don't want anyone to
00:25:59ever feel like they're taking advantage of and we want to really make sure that the people are taken
00:26:04care of because again in our world we want to make sure that it is a fair and consistent thing to
00:26:11raise money for the hospital so we really make sure that no one feels like they're taking advantage
00:26:16of um so we really talk about that and rarely do we do that so uh sir we i'll let you talk more
00:26:23about that as well yeah i would second that i mean i think at every show there's somebody that offers
00:26:29you know i know we have a lot of volunteers that volunteer their time um you know we you know obviously
00:26:34we don't take anything as the board members of anything but you know we put everything towards the
00:26:39show and the talent but if you're an in-ring performer uh we want to make sure that you
00:26:44leave our shows feeling respected and um treated like exactly like the professor said we want that
00:26:50respect factor do you know if if you work for us we're going to treat you right yeah brandy i'm going
00:26:56to read this comment then uh turn it back over to you and it's from bobby slam those two guys william
00:27:02and alan don't get enough credit they do so much for the kids and community i have tremendous respect for
00:27:08both of them and i'm proud to call them friends high praise right there guys how does that make y'all
00:27:14feel um for me yeah just absolutely grateful that you know what we do every day people you know feel
00:27:25impacted and like we're doing the right thing when you get comments like that and you know we just we're
00:27:30just real people just doing stuff so that's what they get and we appreciate bobby's name as well
00:27:36hugely i think more people can do things at a community level at your local community level and
00:27:41with i mean you know you can go to an independent wrestling show and know that the money's going
00:27:46somewhere that's local right here in chattanooga so i mean it's it's pretty cool that we get to impact
00:27:51our area you know so that's that's something really awesome i'm very grateful to have people like bobby
00:27:57with us in the organization yeah agree to along with i was very
00:28:07what what what is this what it was going to be and i came to a show and once i came to a show
00:28:14it made total you know um is there about it being pro wrestling that how he kind of asked a minute ago but
00:28:23but you give a lot of entertainment or a little bit of money to get uh to get in the door and to raise
00:28:31money uh do you do you focus on your show as dude top class indie wrestling or when you go to put a
00:28:41show together no sir william what what is your thing i did so it was so i mean i was completely blown away
00:28:53um i mean i think the professor will probably second this but um we talk a lot uh amongst ourselves
00:28:59and kind of try to keep a cohesive story that you know goes through all of the shows um we try to
00:29:06highlight a lot of local talent to make sure that they get opportunities to to work shows and to to
00:29:11see and you know with our partnership with school of morton we're trying to branch out and bring
00:29:16different talent into a different area so uh fundamentally it's just us trying to communicate
00:29:21like this is the overarching story of where we want to go now it's just seeing how we get there
00:29:28and adapting to when there will be curveballs that life will inevitably throw you
00:29:35heard of the the calls i thought well the shows will be disjointed and the shows are the total
00:29:40opposite of that it really flows in a storyline like william was saying it you do a very good job
00:29:48of bringing the audience into that storyline in a very short time yeah um like will said we often
00:29:56joke around sometimes we're doing it live um that's because we adapt quickly but we also want
00:30:02to keep that cohesive story um together so it feels like it flows because again like we talked about
00:30:08with paying some of the wrestlers and stuff even if they want to do it for free i feel like it's a
00:30:12respect thing that if we don't have a story consistently for them to tell it creates you
00:30:18know disconjunction in their life and makes it very hard for them to really showcase who they are
00:30:24as the performer who they are as a personality and who they are when they're you know in the ring
00:30:29doing what they need to do to tell the story so if it's all over the place that's a disjustice to them
00:30:34and again that's a lack of respect on our half if we do them like that so that's why we're so
00:30:40particular about making sure that the stories make sense they kind of align but we also give them
00:30:46freedom as well we get like hey what do you think about this or sometimes we've even let um other
00:30:52wrestlers you know book the shows and saying hey we're going to do this this and we'll say okay we're
00:30:56going to do this match and then let's flow this in and kind of go through and adapt it uh as well so
00:31:02i feel like it's very disrespectful if you don't stay consistent with what you're trying to bring
00:31:08um because it makes it hard on that independent wrestler to showcase what they want to do
00:31:13and then move it up to the next level so like something like where you guys are very popular
00:31:17and they're wanting to go to a school of morton and they're just trying to get out of dalton
00:31:21um you know for us to put something out there that looks low quality and if you're just watching from
00:31:26a distance it could impact that person's brand and we don't ever want to do anything that would
00:31:31impact somebody's brand or disrespect someone so that's kind of where my headspace is in the line
00:31:36with uh williams you know we we we as we have on here we always start out by telling them when we go
00:31:43to talk to welcome um we're fans first we love professional wrestling we will not be here
00:31:50to embarrass you ask you questions to embarrass you we are fans that start there and we respect the
00:31:57business you have respect for the business do you think that element of wrestling with the cause
00:32:05makes talent a little more willing with you sir williams completely uh i mean you think about i mean
00:32:13when i think about some of the talent that we've worked with really i don't know of any wrestlers
00:32:18that have ever had a negative anything to say about working one of our shows i mean we've got
00:32:22you know people like josh turner who obviously is going through a real life thing right now but
00:32:26i mean i feel like he's very very on board with the cause and working with us and has helped us a
00:32:31lot in putting us in communication you know you go back to you know some of the early days and air
00:32:36paris helping getting us in contact with people you talk about mike action jackson helping us get
00:32:41in contact with people you talk about um swinger you know the fact that johnny swinger will text us
00:32:47and just be like hey when's the next show i'm ready to roll you know he's going to be there at
00:32:51matrotham con zicky messaging us literally today thanking him for you know coming down to his show
00:32:57and wanting to know the next date we're going to get him up to ours i mean it's the the talent i think
00:33:03the respect has paid off to where they know they want to work our shows they want to defend the
00:33:08titles they want to be in these matches they want to see where they can take it as a story so
00:33:13i'm really really proud of that and hopefully that's a legacy that when we're
00:33:17old and you know sitting on a porch we can talk about these days uh t professor tko is the reason
00:33:24here he contacted me and he said brent you you have such a passion you need to be involved even
00:33:32though he kicked me below the belt going to the ring the other night and i still owe him for that
00:33:37so uh joseph he's going to get a nug-nug back whenever i see him next but
00:33:42that they these guys that are so tough bigger than life in a lot of cases they're the first
00:33:48one to sing your causes professor well we we appreciate that and i think like will was saying
00:33:54we just you know will mention it earlier we don't take any money out of this like we actually probably
00:34:00pay more in than what we did i mean sometimes we're referred to as hobbyists which is totally cool with
00:34:05us um but it it we didn't do this designed to you know make an independent wrestling organization that
00:34:13was just something fun to be added into it to make the money and i think the guys see that and they send
00:34:19the you know the genuineness of what we ask and do um and then we respect them because it's hard to be a
00:34:26wrestler i mean it is not easy i mean it's a difficult thing you gotta learn out there move you gotta learn
00:34:31how to work your people so there's a whole thing that you have to be able to work through um so i
00:34:37feel like do that allows us to show that respect and i feel like that's one of the things that do
00:34:44because they see us just as genuine people like the people you're talking to right now on here is exactly
00:34:49the people you would run into out you know wherever whether we're at work or you know stop buying
00:34:54groceries or getting gas i mean we're the same people over where you go there's i mean we didn't get our
00:35:00nicknames professor or sir william until what 2022 like a year later we were standing around and
00:35:05we were at east side and somebody said what are you guys's work names they're like i don't i don't
00:35:12know what you're talking about i'm just alan this is will so we don't know like we're not personalities
00:35:17we're just people doing something cool for money for the hospital so um i gave me myself i gave myself
00:35:24mine so you know if you can't get somebody else to do it you just give it to yourself oh heck yeah
00:35:30and then it has taken off because we've been out places and people like i've been literally at
00:35:36work and someone go like you should hit john bishop with a chair sir william like whoa okay what
00:35:43i'm at work how do you know me like oh it's so amazing professors had that happen as well he's
00:35:49been up in chattanooga just walking and going like professor yeah i'm like who are you talking to who was
00:35:56that for i'm like oh you're talking to me because we never we never expected to become
00:36:02like this has exceeded all of our expectations of everything it could have been because literally
00:36:07like when we decided to do it it was literally like hey we'll do small independent shows over at
00:36:12the gym in dalton that was our goal make a couple hundred bucks here and there just to donate to the
00:36:18hospital every year for the cmd i mean that's what it was and then you know things started happening
00:36:25we started meeting more people and it just kind of started evolving but we made sure that we always
00:36:31stayed through to being respectful to everyone we talked to you know so joseph i'm gonna let you take
00:36:36off uh i do owner of river city i just make this offer and let you know anything that you need
00:36:44advertising run every show through here whatever you need it's your proud that that we're proud for
00:36:54the cause and it's not often you see these guys top of the guard guys at every indie show then shows
00:37:02back up joseph at wrestling with the cause it speaks and if you ever watch the tv show he will become
00:37:09sir william and he will become the best i made that mistake those are well sir william i'm gonna throw
00:37:17a little salt in the wound here so at your last show you had something happen you won a title and then
00:37:23it was immediately taken away from you speak about it a little bit sir um you know my i'm gonna call him
00:37:31my protege hardcore mcclure has been um pushing me to become what he calls ruthless so i don't know
00:37:39what his ultimate goal is and maybe we'll see it come out one day but he is uh he has pushed we have
00:37:45fought we have bled in the ring together uh both as tag partners and against each other we've had
00:37:51street fights we've had a hardcore match um i guess it's time we're gonna have to do it again i guess it's
00:37:58just not settled he says i buried him now if you bury someone um hypothetically a fake skeleton
00:38:06representing that person in a leather jacket to make it look like him i guess maybe i buried him
00:38:11was that too much who knows i didn't um maybe he's a little salty so um i know the purple welts that i
00:38:19had on from that being is something i plan on giving back well i would say it's a lot of salty it's not just a
00:38:26little bit because the fashion that he came out and as quick as he came out from behind that curtain
00:38:32to ensure that he stole that title from you was sending a message to you sir i would agree um message
00:38:39definitely received now i'm working on my response and again the purple welts will have a response
00:38:47and professor i mean you were right there by ringside you got to see it all
00:38:51and how surprised were you to see that happen i was shocked um especially when bobby slam jumped up
00:38:58and kind of like leaned in that he was now a soldier of slam i was blown away because hardcore me and
00:39:05him talk you know i'm kind of like the neutral one that stays neutral with everybody i don't really
00:39:09get involved too much i do more of the technical stuff um so jordan many times has said he's like i'm
00:39:14retired i'm not doing this anymore and then just out of nowhere for him and bobby to jump up and go
00:39:20at it it was totally a shock to me i was like okay i was like we're doing this again i mean the last
00:39:25time this happened there was legos and thumbtacks involved so you know lord knows what's going to
00:39:29happen this time um you know prior to that that snake in the grass he's just always there and you
00:39:37don't know when he's going to strike or what he's going to do but he always finds a way to insert
00:39:42himself with the best talent that is across multi-states and he always finds a way to brainwash
00:39:49them into believing that they're better than what they are and that they can win anything as long as
00:39:54he's at their side and you know i hate to say it because i love bobby i love him as a man i love him
00:40:00personally i love him but he is that man that you've got to watch out for he is diabolical and he will
00:40:06take advantage of any situation as we saw at wrestling for a cause yeah i think i'm gonna throw
00:40:14this theory out there i haven't thrown this out there but i've thought about it and then you guys
00:40:18can give me a thought back you know we both we voted him in as a board member prior to that night
00:40:24and then all of a sudden he he takes hardcore mcclure in return so i feel like he worked his way in i mean
00:40:30i don't know it could just been tommy but i mean i tons of respect though for bobby slam and everything
00:40:36he does for us but it could have been the initiative of get soldiers to slam and some plotting going on
00:40:42to revenge sir william after he buried hardcore mcclure so well sir william it almost seems like
00:40:49you've got a heenan on your hands you got a bobby the brain that's sitting back there and he was just
00:40:54like you said waiting for the right time to strike and as you said he waited until you all voted him
00:41:00in on the board to make his big jump and his big move so this might have been what he'd been planning
00:41:05in here all along i could see that i mean he's a smart man he's a smart businessman smart announcer
00:41:12smart manager like i could definitely see that so we're we're up against somebody that's very
00:41:17challenging a ruthless response is what i just see from bobby slam so that was in fact a ruthless
00:41:24response that was a ruthless response and i'm gonna have to get very very ruthless
00:41:31as a fan of the heels i kind of like bobby slam i'm just gonna throw that out
00:41:38i i'm an official unofficial member of the soldiers of slam he gave me official um like it's like a
00:41:45you know fam club glasses so i can't hate too bad i mean it's impressive what he did
00:41:50very impressive but is it really impressive or was it just really brilliant on his part or both i
00:41:58mean because the way that he he sowed that seed and let it just come to flourish and grow
00:42:04it makes you wonder what else is he capable of in the future i think quite a bit so we'll be watching
00:42:11ourselves all weekend at matrotham so when you guys are there at matrotham i think you're going
00:42:16to see some fun stuff because craziness will ensue and i guarantee you there will be shenanigans and
00:42:23will be paid back please remind us again when is matrotham con when's it going down for you guys great
00:42:29question uh june 20th june 21st and june 22nd uh and our live pro wrestling will be on the 21st so if
00:42:37you buy the weekend pass or you buy just the saturday pass you are getting the wrestling show
00:42:43as a part of all of the vendors all of the awesome autographs you know the the people that are
00:42:47attending i mean they've got an amazing lineup for matrotham and we're beyond excited to now have been with
00:42:53them two years so and you've got some pretty amazing too so uh go ahead joseph i'm sorry i
00:43:07know when that evan golden's coming but go ahead i think you just got a man crush on evan golden but
00:43:15that's neither here nor there uh now guys at matrotham con you said you got three days planned
00:43:20one day full of wrestling uh you guys will be signing autograph taking pictures you also will
00:43:25be selling merchandise you guys will be out there on the floor in front of everybody taking donations
00:43:31and we want to encourage each and every one of you guys to come on out to dalton and be a part of
00:43:36matrotham con right here with wrestling for cause with sir william and the professor and everybody
00:43:42else that's going to be there that's going to be i mean the kazanas are going to be there we've got
00:43:47we've got connor martin going to be there jave and myra scheduled to be there we've got lots of people
00:43:52there that are scheduled to come on out you guys want to be a part of this come on out and be a part of
00:43:57it and professor i know something very special and near and dear to your heart is going to be there
00:44:02would you like to talk about it well um would you be talking about the kids or which one would
00:44:11you be talking about i mean i have very i have a lot of special things that will be happening that
00:44:14night um one one thing that will happen before talking about whitley is um you if you would like
00:44:21to win the 24 7 belt it'll be up for grabs all weekend long just like last year so you someone may
00:44:29challenge um hardcore mcclure out of nowhere before sir william can even get to him and become a new
00:44:34champion before you know so it could easily slide away from the soldier of slam sam so i know i'm talking
00:44:41about that um but yeah for me uh whitley running will be there she'll be the cmn children um kid this
00:44:49year for uh walmart and doing the cmn campaign for all across the chattanooga area for the hospital
00:44:55um so we'll be inducting her that night and then also we'll be inducting um bobby slam into the
00:45:01kids hall of flame as well so um yeah so just again i know bobby slam plays the leader of the
00:45:07soldier slam and he has a way he has to do that and be uh but besides the same behind the scenes
00:45:13really great guy really excited to have him and uh just being able to induct him that night just from
00:45:19all the things he's helped us with over the years it's really going to be amazing um and then of
00:45:23course whitley having her come on uh can't wait to introduce her and uh have her come in and then
00:45:28we're also going to go ahead and present the checks um to the walmart that night as well where we raised
00:45:34the three thousand dollars to the show in lafayette just a couple weeks ago that you guys were at so
00:45:40super excited so thank you

00:46:07for anybody who hasn't been to a wrestle for a cause event they need to go and experience it uh
00:46:13my daughter that's the second time she's ever been to a wrestling and i think it kind of lit a fire
00:46:19underneath her because before i hopped on here she's like do we have any wrestling on tonight to
00:46:24watch i said no not tonight so uh she's looking forward to being able to come back and watch y'all
00:46:30again and we're planning on trying to make it over to dalton to see that card that y'all got set up so um
00:46:36um do you uh i know we're three weeks away but do you have a kind of a lineup already as far as
00:46:43matches we did but we're kind of moving around right now just because of what's going on with
00:46:50josh so i i think we're holding that until we get next week and then we're going to kind of
00:46:56finalize release it so next wednesday the matrotham um mark and keith the guys that um run it
00:47:02um that we work with they're actually going to be on our wrestling show um on fahrenheit and then
00:47:08we'll announce the finalized revision card there so plug your wrestling show professor because i i
00:47:15watched this week and i really enjoyed it uh yeah it's uh every wednesday uh it's a bi-weekly show
00:47:22it comes on at seven o'clock to eight uh right before aew um we talk about wrestling we play matches from
00:47:28independent shows um we'll probably have nikki das's silent match that he just made super famous
00:47:34at momo con uh play this week um we have special guests uh anyone that wants to come on i mean they
00:47:42can just walk them to come and hang out sometimes we do storylines there sometimes our kids come on
00:47:48we do do a big thing at the end of the year and you guys are welcome to come if you want we do what we
00:47:51call the christmas special uh and everyone comes in and tries to do a christmas show and they will
00:47:58do a big song at the end that seems to have not worked out in the last many years that we've tried
00:48:02so uh it's really fun time uh but yeah you guys are welcome to come you it's a blast um getting to
00:48:08have the kids hang out uh they show up just a couple weeks ago uh joel came on and you know will was
00:48:15addressing kyle which was his vein of his existence and you know him and joel just beat him down in the
00:48:20middle of the uh thing so you just never know what's going to happen um you know often we joke and grin
00:48:26like i mentioned earlier in the show we do it live that's because things evolve rapidly so we
00:48:31have a loose script so that way we can you know get to everyone what they want to talk about and

00:49:44i can tell you right now randy can probably win the belt but the problem is is he can't get up off
00:49:49the floor and he'll lose it as quick as he wins it that is that is an issue that is that is what's the
00:49:55sauce i got to know what sauce you're putting on your wings i'm excited to hear this mango habanera

00:50:24worked their show out there um i i know evan golden is the beside the ring champion uh i know
00:50:34sticky dyes is a worldwide name any you know anytime you can see ziggy dyes do it um do you have um
00:50:44you have vista names that we can at least announce or yeah we can go through some of the names um you
00:50:50know josh if he's in a recovered spot he plans on being there so josh turner will be there um johnny
00:50:56swinger is going to be there uh we're going to have uh evan gold he'll be there so he'll be live there
00:51:03uh so i mean that's i mean do we need to go through any more names i feel like he's a popular guy in the
00:51:08stream so uh but yeah so he'll be there and then we'll have um alex summers there he'll be there uh we're
00:51:15going to have gabby she's our first female referee um with derrick myers uh who'll be there there's
00:51:21rumors that juicy john bishop may make an appearance there he's kind of upset right now with the bcw
00:51:28reunion show so he's a little mad about them not inviting him so now i think he may be getting a
00:51:33little salty that he may not be able to show up to ours uh so now i'm hearing rumors he may show up
00:51:37and crash there so i don't know could happen um so there's just so many talented people that are
00:51:43going to show up with surprises bobby slam will be there announcing me live um who knows soldiers
00:51:48of slam could show up jordan be there all weekend as a 24th well seven champs maybe making successful
00:51:55title defense i don't want so so are we anybody else you want to comment about we are we have another
00:52:02we may have another match that's uh kind of stepping up right here bobby slams telling
00:52:07talk to our own uh joseph on here shut your dirty mouth joseph never doubt hardcore mcclure
00:52:11oh man you know the the only thing i wanted to point out was um we are um helping matrotham
00:52:18bring lex luger to matrotham this year so um you know just like last year mc foley brought um you
00:52:26know was was there and he actually inducted the kids into the hall of fame uh we're hoping to have
00:52:31the exact same experience with luger to where he can induct a child into the hall of fame and be there
00:52:37also present when we do the check presentation so i'm very excited about that and million dollar
00:52:42man will be there with uh lex luger going through everything he's gone through and being able to
00:52:48actually stand up now and actually take a few steps that'd be awesome if he could do that for the kids
00:52:53yeah yeah completely agreed so could could i just run down the uh the guest that's going to be there as
00:53:01far as the wrestlers real quick uh seems like y'all are kind of uh in charge of a lot of this getting
00:53:08them there like i said lex luger is going to be there billy gunn's going to be there the million
00:53:12dollar man like was already said ted dibiase is going to be there uh the dog face gremlin rick steiner
00:53:19uh kenzie page the nwa women's champion uh someone we already talked about the country gentleman's going
00:53:25to be there uh johnny swinger is going to be there and y'all know this gentleman a lot better than i
00:53:30do but if anything's possible uh josh tko turner will be there as well yep that's the plan uh mike
00:53:39clay will be there the clown that never frowns we spoke about him earlier he'll also be there as well
00:53:44so yeah josh we just you know we keep him in our thoughts and prayers every night um is he working
00:53:51through what he's got going on and uh you know we really hope he comes he's in our group chat that
00:53:57we have with everybody he's saying he's going to be there um so you know we 100 support it but
00:54:03we also 100 would rather see him get 100 healed uh versus trying to push because we know in his heart
00:54:09if it was you know meant for him to be here he would be here 100 but you know he'll be here next
00:54:16time if he can't make this because again we want him to be healthy so well professor we we don't
00:54:21speak about josh enough uh josh has a heart for people he has a heart for kids he has a heart for
00:54:26the business and the industry and trying to help anybody he can in any way possible and right now
00:54:32is a time where josh needs all of our thoughts all of our prayers all of our help that we can offer him
00:54:39um for those of you that don't know i will break the news i'll break the silence um he went through a
00:54:45stroke he had a mild stroke in the middle of the ring at a kfw event and it's pushed him back a
00:54:50little bit and he's trying to work through that problem he lost all motor movements on the left
00:54:55hand side of his body uh so he can't grab he can't move he can't walk um he's getting better every day
00:55:01but he is still needing a lot of help him and samantha and the kids need a lot of help right
00:55:05now and we would love to have you guys partner with us as we partner with wrestling for a cause and
00:55:11also partner with his family to make sure that his needs are met and his bills are met for the next few
00:55:17months as we're going through this so um we would like to open that up to each and every one of you

00:57:45it all goes into what we do which is you know love independent wrestling and try to help everyone
00:57:51get their name out there and ultimately raise money for the hospital so whatever you guys do
00:57:56make it about them and share your our stuff because it makes it about other people and not
00:58:00necessarily us which is you know what we wanted we never expected i mean this is you know i'm trying
00:58:07not to you know be embarrassing about showing you know my fan face right now so i'm trying to keep it
00:58:13together hanging out with you guys and stuff so you know that's that really would help to spread around
00:58:18our website and what we do and our donation our calls and uh you know someone wants to talk to us or

01:00:12already collected one of our belts i mean so the the sky's the limit so i think that he's already
01:00:17on his way to becoming a grand slam champion with us 100 and he is defending uh tomorrow night i do
01:00:25believe and uh virginia he's going to be at beside the ring championship wrestling defending that big
01:00:31trash can of a belt that he brings everywhere with him the hook cap yeah so i mean that's just one

01:00:48action at championship one wrestling tomorrow in mcdonald tennessee and he's going to be doing that
01:00:53business perfect for himself uh as he has been in the tag team recently with chris pain i'm not sure
01:00:59if you know mr chris pain or not i know pain chris pain but man he has been on fire and taking the c1w
01:01:07audience by storm the last few weeks and like you said he's a little salty about some stuff that's
01:01:11gone on so i wouldn't be surprised if he shows up to wrestling for a cause with a purpose to try to
01:01:16take over and make his name and make his fame at wrestling for a cause yeah i'd agree bishop's very
01:01:25possible to do that um i don't know if you guys know but our first season we call it sagas we don't
01:01:30call it seasons um when we very first started the tv show uh he came in and forcefully took the 24 7
01:01:37belt away from sir william by throwing a glass bottle over his head right in the middle of the
01:01:41studio so it was a interesting way to start the journey and uh so juicy john joined us for a little
01:01:48bit but as always in the hunt for the gold sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do so he's back to
01:01:55his ways and you spoke about the clown that never has never not smiled uh the one that they call the
01:02:02clown freak himself and let me tell you that man is on a mission himself he's looking to retain gold
01:02:09he's looking to get the gold from wrestling for a cause and he's looking to be a part of that awf
01:02:14and take some gold away as well this weekend so you don't know what you're getting when you mess with
01:02:19the clown freak mike clay but i'm going to tell you what it's not going to be fun and games for you if
01:02:24you're on the other side of the ropes with him and of course we've talked about it a little bit
01:02:29that's another top of the card guy from awf which is a local one of the class organizations in the
01:02:36chattanooga area and just putting all these class organizations together under the banner of wrestling
01:02:42with the cause it's just amazing um how are you got anything to close tonight we'll let the professor

01:06:19because of erlanger too so many lives are changed because of that hospital and if you just just
01:06:26realize how lucky we are to have such great medical care in the chattanooga area professor we're blessed
01:06:32to have a place like that down here agree 100 it's absolutely a blessing to be able to just give back
01:06:39to them and help support them so um it's erlanger's been so kind to us we had to when we first started
01:06:45i'll share something real quick you know we had to go through the board of erlanger to get bedded
01:06:50and we actually got approved to be able to use their like emblems and their stuff
01:06:55as officials so we worked through all that so we just really appreciate them and seeing you know what
01:07:01we do to help support them is you know them being comfortable with letting us allowing us to use their
01:07:06image and names and brands so it's really cool if you've got a little money to spend you got a little
01:07:12extra to spend we got plenty of charities out there but send some of these guys away i'm qb1 i gave
01:07:19myself the nickname because my real name is randall cunningham nobody else can call himself qb1 he's howie
