00:00You
00:30Hello and welcome to WrestleTalk with Rabid Beaver and joining me today is none other than the man, the myth, the legend himself, the one that he might be Superman to you or he could be the super heel.
00:42You get to decide tonight. It's Mr. Alec Summers. Mr. Alec, how are you doing tonight?
00:50I'm doing fine tonight. How are y'all doing tonight?
00:54We are doing wonderful. How are you doing tonight, baby?
00:57Perfectly good.
00:58Excellent. Well, you got the trio here tonight. You got the evil Spock bunny herself, the Rabid Beaver, and we've got Superman himself, Alex Summers, here.
01:07So, Alex, we know you're busy and we thank you for coming on and taking the time out of your day today to be here with us.
01:13We know you've got a super huge schedule ahead of us. Let's just jump right in.
01:17Now, August 23rd, you had something take place at Georgia Elite Wrestling, the Summer Warfare.
01:26Talk to us about it. Tell us what's going on.
01:30Oh, last Saturday, I took on a guy named Az, and thanks to the referee there, he got a quick victory over me, but I left him laying at the end of the match, just like always.
01:43He, uh, he's one of the fan favorites, and that's what I'm there for is to destroy and disrupt the fan favorites. Is that correct?
01:57I apologize about our technical difficulties. We're going to get him back as quick as possible.
02:06Uh, Mr. Alex Summers, we will have you back on shortly. Thank you guys for being here tonight. Here he comes. He's joining in right now.
02:13Sorry about that, Mr. Alex. It dropped you for just a second. I do apologize about that. So you were saying that you were there to make a disrupt and disrespect the fan favorites. Is that correct?
02:25I'm there to save the wrestling show from itself. All the fans follow the favorites like Blind Little Sheep. I'm there to do the bad things for them. I'm there to do the stuff they can't do.
02:42And I tell them every week, and all they do is boo me, but you know what? One day, they're going to thank me for everything I do for them.
02:51I couldn't agree with you more there, Mr. Summers. Uh, I mean, Georgia Elite Wrestling would probably be in a really bad place if they didn't have you there. Wouldn't you say so?
03:03Oh, most definitely. I was there for three months, became their heavyweight champion. Defended it, defended it, defended it, finally lost it.
03:12By some more shenanigans. And that's when I decided that I have to save GEW from itself.
03:20Well, speaking about saving GEW, you mentioned that your match with AZ, the Azman, uh, had a little bit of a dirty referee.
03:29We want to talk about it, call him out by name and say exactly what happened in that match.
03:34Yeah, his name is Marty Duncan.
03:39As went for a sunset flip, being the bigger man, I sat down on him, started to lose my balance, grabbed the ropes for just, and the referee kicked my hands.
03:50And AZ was able to roll me up from the momentum because of the referee.
03:53So, really, half that victory belongs to Marty, the ref.
03:58That doesn't even sound like it was a fair fight.
04:00It sounds like the referee was in the back pocket of the AZ and in the back pocket of the management of Georgia Elite Wrestling.
04:07Is that a fair assessment, sir?
04:12See, I love this about you, Joseph.
04:13You call it like you see it.
04:15That is a fair assessment.
04:16I was robbed.
04:17I was cheated.
04:18The month before, I got out for my match just for them to tell me I don't even have a match.
04:24So, I had to beat up a security guard.
04:28And they made the security guard a match all of a sudden.
04:31And, of course, I wouldn't quit beating him up because I was mad.
04:34I'll admit, I was upset.
04:36So, it goes down in the record books as the security guard now holds a victory over me by DQ.
04:44That's a shame and a disgrace to the professional wrestling business.
04:47Was a security guard even a worker?
04:49Does he even belong in the ring?
04:53No.
04:54The best thing he could do was to stand there.
04:56And I'm not sure why that he felt the need to put his hands on me.
04:59So, I had to throw him in the ring and teach him a lesson.
05:03Then, all of a sudden, it became a match.
05:04And when I wouldn't quit beating him up, they DQ'd me.
05:07So, now I've lost to a security guard.
05:11I've lost to a guy named Az.
05:14I mean, AZ.
05:16What a great name.
05:18GEW is just pulling all the wrong strings with me right now.
05:22Well, Alex, you were the heavyweight champion for a good period of time at GEW.
05:29And they decided to screw you out of that as well.
05:33Do you think that this is a cycle, a vicious cycle, that is going to continue to move on into the future?
05:39Or are you going to be able to put a stop to it some special way?
05:42I'm going to put a stop to it some special way because, like I said, I'm GEW's antihero.
05:48I'm there to do the bad things to save them from their self.
05:51That goes for the management.
05:53That goes for the fans.
05:54That goes for the show.
05:55We're drawing a great crowd.
05:57And I'm just not going to let them run this thing into the ground.
06:02And if I have to beat people up, if I have to hurt people, whether it's a ring guy, whether it's an announcer, whether it's a security guard,
06:09no matter who it is, no matter if it's the owner of the show, it won't be the first time I've done it.
06:15I'm going to save GEW from itself.
06:20Hmm.
06:22Well, I believe that you can do it.
06:23I believe that you can do it not only at GEW, but there's other places that you work.
06:28Some places that we've seen you in the past.
06:30We saw you at Matrotham Con just a few months ago in Georgia as well.
06:34And you had a nice little match that was out there.
06:36And you were there all weekend with the fans.
06:38And in Chattanooga, you were at the Farley Expo, too, aren't you?
06:44Yes, sir, I was.
06:46Farley Con, I've done it from the start.
06:49Great place to spend the first weekend in August every year.
06:52Matter of fact, I've already got myself set up there for next year.
06:56August 1st and 2nd.
06:59The fans, if you're out there and available August 1st and 2nd of next year at Farley Con,
07:04you can definitely get out there and see the Alex Summers, the man himself.
07:10And you can talk to him live and get his autograph and any merchandise he has available on the table.
07:15Is that correct, sir?
07:17That is correct.
07:18I will have wrestling merchandise.
07:20I have autographs.
07:21But, believe it or not, I'm also a vendor in comic books.
07:26I know we have another fellow comic nerd on here with us tonight.
07:31So, yeah.
07:32This one over here?
07:34Comic book nerd over there?
07:36There.
07:36I actually run an online shop.
07:44He actually runs an online shop, he says.
07:49Interesting.
07:51I don't have headphones, so I can't hear.
07:55We'll get her settled in here in just a second.
07:58Yeah, we were talking about you.
08:00Give me just a second.
08:01I'll put it live for her.
08:02Yeah, so I'll be at Farley Con next year.
08:05Okay.
08:06So, at Farley Con next year, you're going to be having a great time.
08:11And everybody who comes out to see you is going to also be having a great time.
08:13Is that correct?
08:17That's correct.
08:17Like I said, I'll have the wrestling merch there.
08:19I also have the comics from Prime 616, my little online shop.
08:25We do from dollar books all the way up to high value wall books that will be there for sale.
08:32Well, I see all the Superman and comic stuff behind you, so y'all should really make it down.
08:41This is actually all her stuff, believe it or not.
08:42Rocky Sparlock is on a great show at Farley Con.
08:44This is all her stuff.
08:49This is none of my stuff.
08:50The Superman, the Spider-Man, the Batman, everything that you see behind me, everything that you see in this room is actually hers.
08:56She's got some Flash stuff on the other wall.
08:58She's got Star Trek on the other wall.
08:59She's just a huge one.
09:00She's a Trekkie.
09:01So she loves those conventions.
09:06She loves going to them and having a lot of fun at them, and we do too.
09:10Speaking of conventions, we saw you at Matrotham Con.
09:13We got to see you down there in Georgia as well at the convention and train center that was outside of Rome.
09:19And we got to see you perform in front of what some people would consider wrestling royalty.
09:26Ted DiBiase got to watch your match.
09:29Billy Gunn got to watch your match.
09:31Johnny Swinger was out there as well.
09:33I mean, you got to perform in front of a lot of people.
09:36What confidence does it take for you to be in front of those audiences like that and to make a difference and a change and to reach one fan that's never seen you before?
09:50Matrotham was amazing as the legends you named were there.
09:53But, you know, we had fans up in the stands there, and we had people watching who probably have never even seen a live wrestling show.
10:00And for me and Ryan Maness to go out there and take on the country gentlemen, I mean, that was awesome.
10:07And I can't explain how much it means to me to have, like, y'all there, have the NWA JCP guys there for Wrestling for a Cause.
10:21I've been with Wrestling for a Cause for a long time, and just to see how far it's grown with the help of all y'all,
10:26I couldn't be more gracious and thankful for every little part that any of y'all do to help us out with that.
10:34Well, it's a pleasure to be a part of it.
10:36It's a pleasure to be a part of Wrestling for a Cause, first and foremost.
10:39Your goal when you get into this business should be, not only am I going to better myself, but how can I better the lives of somebody else each and every time that we go out there?
10:50And Wrestling for a Cause does that.
10:51They put their money where their mouth is.
10:53They find somebody who's special needs.
10:55They find somebody who is disabled.
10:57They find somebody who's in need, whether it be a cancer patient or somebody that is surviving cancer or somebody like their own, Josh Turner,
11:05somebody that we know very carefully and is methodical in the wrestling business himself and also on film and video.
11:12They put their money where their mouth is to help each and every person that they get involved with.
11:18And I'm going to tell you, it just makes a huge difference in your life.
11:22It makes a huge difference in my life.
11:24I'm sure it's made a huge difference in Kassara's life to know that we have the opportunity and the ability to be there for a great cause that's helping people get over issues that they would normally never have the ability to, the money to, or the access to the care that they need.
11:42And so that's a real great blessing for all of us to be a part of that.
11:45I mean, is that fair?
11:48That's fair.
11:49And, you know, when it comes to wrestling for a cause, I'm the one who brought Josh into wrestling for a cause last year.
11:56Not this past one, the one before.
11:58There was an opening.
12:00William asked me for some suggestions.
12:02Josh wanted on.
12:03I got him on there.
12:06He wrestled Stunt Marshall up in Chattanooga at that Matrotham.
12:13And, you know, he really took to the cause.
12:16And you know when Josh, Josh was able to bring you in and all the JCP guys.
12:22And honestly, it started right here with me and him.
12:28And now, look, we've got the support and, you know, the following from you guys to help out.
12:34And like I said, I couldn't be more grateful that mine and Josh went from here to there to what we are now.
12:41We're wrestling for a cause.
12:42Well, you know, it's a great thing when we're talking about Hardcore McCoy.
12:47We're talking about Josh Turner.
12:49We're talking about wrestling for a cause.
12:51We're talking about Alan Rittenhouse, Bobby Slam.
12:53Everybody who's involved in it, from the top to the bottom, their main mission is to make somebody's life better in any way possible.
13:02If it's putting a smile on a child's face or if it's helping them get their bills paid for that month or helping a family out so that they can get the treatment that they need for their children, that's the big issue here.
13:15And wrestling for a cause is one of the major reasons why we got back involved inside of wrestling.
13:20We were working at the former School of Morton, now Smoky Mountain Pro, is who we were working at for a short period of time and got involved with Josh Turner there.
13:30And he brought us in and gave us really the green light, you know, William gave us the green light to do whatever we needed to do and help out in any way possible.
13:39And I know they tested us to see if we were going to stick it out.
13:42But, you know, I've done far worse stuff in the wrestling business than just setting up a ring and tearing it down.
13:49And, I mean, we've cleaned toilets, we've ran concession stands, we've had to run securities, we've done anything and everything that you can probably name.
13:57We've cleaned the floors, we've, I mean, we've done everything inside the wrestling business.
14:02We've sold tickets.
14:03And, you know, when it really comes down to it, if you're doing it for the right reasons, if your heart's in it, it doesn't matter what you're doing, you're going to do it to the best of your ability and you're going to give it your all every night.
14:16And you're going to make a difference in somebody's lives every night.
14:20I mean, sometimes it starts with just that guy that's at the gate that's selling you a ticket.
14:24He's smiling at you or she's smiling at you and she's telling you, I hope you have a good night tonight.
14:29We've got a great show for you.
14:30And if you need any help, get into your seats or whatever, we'd love to show you how to get there.
14:35And, you know, that makes the biggest difference in the world to some people because they just want to know that somebody cares about them.
14:40The world is a bad place and it's full of evil.
14:44It's full of injustice and horrible things that go on all the time, Alex.
14:48And wrestling for a cause really puts that into perspective, especially with a young lady by the name of Whitley, who you know very well, don't you?
14:57Oh, yes.
14:58Miss Whitley, the star of the show this past year.
15:02Yeah.
15:04And the world, the universe did revolve around her that weekend for sure.
15:08She made sure that she has the personality.
15:12She's got the smile.
15:13She's the cutest little girl.
15:14And just to see her face light up when she did her little dance and when she got her Hall of Fame ring from Wrestling for a Cause, it was amazing.
15:24That's the kind of moments we live for at Wrestling for a Cause.
15:28Being able to just bring her out and her family and make them stars because they deserve it.
15:35Well, and that's just it is you don't know all the pain in her.
15:39You know the story.
15:40We know that she is a survivor.
15:43We know that she's been through some stuff, but we don't know every little bit that's went on.
15:47But the small bit of hope that you give somebody sometimes is just enough to get them through.
15:53And that's what Wrestling for a Cause does.
15:55And so we're proud to announce that.
15:57We know in October they're going to be hosting in Pikeville.
16:00Or sorry, in Dunlap.
16:01Excuse me.
16:02Dunlap, Tennessee.
16:02Let me correct myself right here live.
16:04They haven't given me the specific date, but they're going to be hosting with Warpath Pro Wrestling in Dunlap, Tennessee.
16:12And they're going to be hosting with the Dunlap Yard Game Shake Cafe Retro Division is who they're going to be promoting with.
16:21So Wrestling for a Cause has got a show that's going to be going on there.
16:24And I know that you're in talks with them.
16:26Have they locked you down yet to be at Wrestling for a Cause in October, sir?
16:31Not yet.
16:32I still have to get with William to talk about it because it could be a surprise appearance for myself.
16:37Maybe even Josh Turner there if he feels like coming out.
16:40We're going to just check it out and see.
16:42Well, it'll be a good time, and we would love to invite each and every one of you guys out.
16:47Please pay attention to our page at Facebook, the Joseph D. Hughes.
16:51We will keep all the information and updates for you there as it comes into us, as Bobby Slam talks to us, as William talks to us, as Alan Rittenhouse talks to us.
17:00We will keep you all informed right there.
17:02Please follow us for that.
17:03Now, I know that there was some matches with – yes, go ahead.
17:07Have you put up the QR code for the fighting for autism thing yet?
17:15We'll do that right now.
17:17So, Josh Turner is having some issues.
17:21Right there it is, guys.
17:22So, this is TKO merchandise.
17:24This is how you can help support him and his family right now as he's in need.
17:28TKO is definitely in need.
17:30He just had brain surgery.
17:31He'd just been in and out of the hospital about six times within the past two months,
17:34and he needs all the help that he can get, guys.
17:37And if you all want to help support him, this is the best way you can do it.
17:41Scan that QR code today.
17:42Get your Fighting for Autism shirt from him right there at prowrestlingtees.com.
17:47All proceeds go to a good cause.
17:50They will go 50-50 for Fighting for Autism and for Josh Turner for his bills.
17:55So, we want to help you guys right there, Josh Turner.
17:57Thank you so much for reminding me, Alex Summers, on that.
18:01You're welcome, sir.
18:02Well, as I was saying, we know that you were going to be a part of an NAWA show that actually got postponed.
18:10Have they set a new date for that that you know of?
18:14They have not set a new date yet for that, but as soon as they do, it will be on my page.
18:21As far as I know, it's still going to be me versus Mr. Grappling Seth Cruz from Cartersville, Georgia.
18:27That's kind of an old rivalry.
18:31We've known each other for over 20 years now.
18:33Well, it's going to be a great show at NAWA whenever they set the date.
18:39You can definitely be sure to follow Alex Summers on his Facebook page.
18:43You definitely want to do that.
18:44I'll bring it up for you guys right here as soon as it decides to load for me.
18:48This is his page right here, and you can follow him and Alex Summers.
18:55Just get on there and hit that follow, hit that like, hit that subscribe to him, and you can check out everything that's going on with him right there live for you guys.
19:03It would be a great time for you guys to do that.
19:04Now, Alex, we know that you have a lot of stuff that's been being planned in the future, and we know that you have a past with a certain company that you used to work for, and you're still friends with one Barry Allen, who's going to be coming on in about a month to talk about what's going on at Ego Pro with none other than the Thomas man, Andrew Thomas.
19:29Do you want to talk about 22 that's going to be available pretty soon?
19:34Yeah, me and Barry Allen met early 2000s.
19:41We were a tag team at a little show called Rough House Championship Wrestling down in Tryon, Georgia for a while.
19:48I've worked for Barry at Ego.
19:50We've stayed friends all these years.
19:53He has a great mind for the business.
19:55He's really a great guy and a great wrestler.
19:59I saw that this was going to be the last Ego show coming up.
20:03So, I don't know how I feel about that.
20:06I've had some good times at Ego.
20:09So, I wish him all the best in this show.
20:12And depends on what I'm doing, I may just ride up there myself just to say goodbye to Ego one last time and see my buddy one more time.
20:20How do you really feel about Ego shutting down, especially since the whole debacle between Barry Allen and that man that we can't name because he's under contract currently.
20:31But how do you feel about that whole debacle there?
20:33Now, I can't mention his name, but you can.
20:35Well, I still won't because I don't want to give any press to anybody that doesn't deserve it, as far as I'm concerned.
20:43But Barry, that was his baby from the start.
20:47And I hate to see it shut down.
20:50But I know if it's going to shut down, he is going to go out with a bang and he's not going to pull any punches.
20:56He's not going to hold anything back.
20:57And this will be the one show that you don't ever want to miss from Ego Pro.
21:03They've had a lot of great shows in the past.
21:05They've had a lot of great people go through there, wrestlers go through there.
21:09But this one, if he's going to close the doors, I know Barry, he's going to go out with a bang.
21:16Well, the kingdom of perfection, Andrew Thomas thinks that he was screwed out of that belt at their last show.
21:23And I know that you know Barry very well.
21:26Do you think Barry is capable of screwing somebody like Andrew Thomas out of that belt?
21:33Barry Allen is capable of almost anything and everything.
21:37So if Andrew thinks he got screwed out of the belt, let's just say maybe he did something he shouldn't have done to get on Barry's bad side.
21:49That's a very interesting take.
21:51What's your take on that there, Spock Bunny?
21:54Definitely interesting.
21:56Well, I mean, if you really think about it, guys, if the kingdom of perfection would have been watching each other's backs.
22:04Now, I understand that they had a couple of hardcore matches before them.
22:07But if they were really watching each other's backs, do you think that Andrew Thomas would have left with that title?
22:12There's a possibility.
22:16But it didn't happen.
22:19And that's the thing that's so crazy about this is it was orchestrated perfectly.
22:24Barry played them like he was playing a card game called Texas Hold'em.
22:29He had the river ready to float, baby.
22:31And he knew it.
22:32He knew exactly what he was doing and when he was doing it.
22:35And I hate to turn this out to be a podcast about him, but let's make it back about you.
22:40So you're thinking that you might go to this last show.
22:44Do you want to work the last show?
22:46Honestly, probably not because I just want to hang back, say hello and goodbyes to people that I haven't seen in a while.
22:59And just enjoy the show because, you know, all the time I'm working nowadays, I never get to go just enjoy a show.
23:07So if I'm going to have to pick one just to go enjoy, Ego Pro will be the one.
23:13That's fair enough.
23:14I'll give you that one.
23:16Now, is there anybody that we haven't mentioned that you're currently working for?
23:20I know that you did a TWE for a little bit of time before they shut the doors, but is there anybody else that you're working for that I forgot to mention today?
23:30Not really.
23:30I've cut my schedule down a lot.
23:33I do, you know, GW and Powder Springs once a month.
23:37I do NAWA.
23:39I work for Honor Code Wrestling.
23:41It's a show in Cedartown, Georgia.
23:43They run once a month.
23:45I haven't been on the last two shows because I've got my daughter.
23:49Family man first.
23:51So looking to get back next month on them.
23:55And Honor Code, GW, Wrestling for a Cause, of course.
24:01And NAWA, that's about it at the moment.
24:07Well, we know that you work formally for TWE, like I mentioned before.
24:10Do you have a favorite moment with that promotion before they close their doors?
24:16Before TWA closed their doors up there in Pikeville, I guess.
24:22Being inducted into their Hall of Fame.
24:23I spent many years working.
24:27Even before it was TWA, it was MCW up in Cagle, Tennessee on top of the mountain at the Fire Hall.
24:33Then they moved down to Pikeville and they were MCW.
24:37Then they were TWA again.
24:40And I spent many years there.
24:42So, yeah, being inducted into their Hall of Fame the last year, right before everything started taking a turn for the worse.
24:51I mean, a lot of great guys there.
24:53A lot of great fans there.
24:54That's why as soon as TWA moved out, Warpath moved in.
24:58They knew that they had a great fan base there in town.
25:02So, I can't blame them for that.
25:04But, yeah, that I've won almost every belt they had.
25:10I was probably the biggest baby they had up there, too.
25:16I'll give you that.
25:18There's only a couple people who could match your star power that was there.
25:23We'll mention two of them.
25:25The Alpha Wolf was one of them.
25:27And the second man would probably be the Grand Moki, is who I would say.
25:30And Mike Clay would be an honorable mention there as well, if we had to do it.
25:34And as far as heels go, I think the Douglas Sanders, even though he comes out sometimes looking like he's wearing a diaper with a bandana and some gloves,
25:45I think he's just trying to hide himself from an 80s movie.
25:48But I think those are the people that could actually match your star power that were a part of that company and that organization
25:54and deserve to have their name mentioned with that organization each and every time that it opens up and goes through.
26:01Is that fair to say, sir?
26:02Oh, that's fair to say.
26:04The Grand Moki, we've had some great matches against each other.
26:08We've had some great matches tagging with each other.
26:10Same with Alpha Wolf, Doug Sanders.
26:14We've had some great back-and-forth promos and matches.
26:19A few more that would be honorable mention.
26:23Of course, like you said, Mike Clay.
26:25Then when Brandon Justice was up there, we had Cal Redman.
26:29I forgot about Brandon.
26:31Yeah.
26:31I'm sorry, Brandon.
26:33We had a lot of great talent that came through those doors up there.
26:37And from what it looks like, Warpath still does.
26:40So I'm glad to see their tradition continue in Pikeville.
26:43Alex, do you have, I don't want to say hard feelings, but do you have mixed emotions about Warpath moving into the territory?
26:53I do, because, you know, to me, there will always be TWA, but things change and times change.
27:02And I'm glad that there's something there so the fans can continue to support indie wrestling up there.
27:10They love it in that little town.
27:12They still, it's real to them, damn it.
27:14Yeah, it is.
27:16It's absolutely real to them in that small little town.
27:19Brewster's Place, you know, 95 Brewster's Place is where they were at.
27:23And Alex, would you ever consider working for Criss Cross and Warpath Professional Wrestling if they came knocking on your door?
27:32I would.
27:34Anything's possible.
27:35I can make a return to Pikeville for a one-off or something else if they needed me.
27:41My doors, my inbox is always open.
27:43They can hit me up on my Facebook.
27:46There's actually a new email address getting created for bookings for me.
27:51And I'm actually setting up a shop on Pro Wrestling Tees, too.
27:55Awesome.
27:56Well, we're glad to hear that, because that was actually going to be our next question to you.
27:59If anybody was out there wanting to book you currently, what's the best way that they can go about booking you for a show?
28:06Currently, just reach out to me on the Facebook page, Alex Summers.
28:10And once I get the new email address set up, I will post it all over my Facebook and make sure everybody has it so they can share it and see where I may end up.
28:22That's excellent.
28:23And you said you're creating a Pro Wrestling Tees, so you have merchandise currently available at each and every show at your table that's out there.
28:30And you're getting a Pro Wrestling Tees set up.
28:32Will you keep us posted when it's live so that we can get it out to the fans?
28:37I sure will, and I appreciate that, too.
28:41You're very welcome.
28:43Alex, one last question for you before we decide to get off here tonight.
28:49Okay.
28:50And this is going to be kind of a – it may be a little controversial, but it might not.
28:54There's one gentleman by the name of the California Dream, Jackson Black, who has recently cut some promos and said that he didn't care if he'd be an overweight, out of shape, wannabe Superman to get where he needed to be at Warpath Professional Wrestling, but he would do whatever it took to become the heavyweight champion.
29:18Would you like to respond to that, sir?
29:20Well, I guess it's easy to challenge somebody or talk about somebody who's not at Warpath.
29:28As far as being an overweight, out of shape, wannabe Superman, I'm old.
29:37But old dogs know all the tricks, too.
29:40I probably forgot more about wrestling than Jackson Black will ever learn.
29:44Two, overweight.
29:45I'm actually down to 292 now, so six years ago I was 380.
29:48So I've already lost almost 90 pounds, so let's go with that.
29:55And I work smarter, not harder.
29:58You can talk about me all you want, but when we're standing face-to-face, then that's when I'll take you to school, son.
30:06And our Warpath is the name is book it.
30:09That's all they have to do.
30:10That's all they have to do is book it, baby.
30:12There's a very distinct lesson that's going to be learned here if you ever get to stand face-to-face with him.
30:17I think one of your former friends and currently an enemy at Wrestling for a Cause has learned that, and that was Josh Turner.
30:25Because the man acted like he was your best friend, wanted to be beside you all the time, tried to lead you to victory.
30:31But when the push came to shove and y'all had your little breaking up, you kind of put him in his place.
30:37And he didn't like it.
30:37And he's kind of ducked you ever since then.
30:40Would that be a fair assessment?
30:44Well, yes and no.
30:47He has ducked me.
30:49We ended up tag champions, and, you know, it was an unfortunate situation where he couldn't be there.
30:57Then Ryan stepped in nice enough to loose the belts for us.
31:02Appreciate that, Ryan.
31:04Haven't forgot you yet.
31:05And me and Josh, we'll, I'm sure we'll cross paths again one day.
31:12Our friendship, we're more like frenemies, Batman and Superman.
31:17We're friends when we have to be, and enemies when we have to be.
31:20And once Josh gets better, we'll either tag back up, go back after our belts, or we'll do what we do best and just beat the living tar out of each other.
31:28Absolutely agreed.
31:30You asked me about my one thing at TWA.
31:32TWA, I will tell you this one story.
31:35I wrestled Josh Turner at TWA.
31:36There's a giant pull apart.
31:38I got away from him.
31:40I climbed up on the ring because I was trying to get away from him.
31:44He looked at me and said, this ain't how we do this, screaming at me while everybody held him.
31:48So, at 325 pounds, I dove off on him and 12 other people and took everybody out like bowling balls.
31:58So, yeah, me and Josh would do stupid things to each other.
32:00And anybody else that's around us.
32:03And we'll do stupid things together.
32:05Well, I don't know if it's stupid things or if you just feed off of each other's energy and want to excite everybody.
32:12And that's the thing, crowd.
32:13Everybody that's watching this, if you've never seen Alex Summers live, if you've never seen TKO Josh Turner live, there is an energy that they bring to the arenas.
32:22There's an energy that they bring to the gymnasiums.
32:24There's an energy that they bring to the halls that they go to and they wrestle in.
32:28And that energy is contagious to whoever they get involved with.
32:33And that energy that you bring, sometimes it raises the standard for everybody else who comes behind you.
32:40And then sometimes it lowers that standard because some people are never going to live up to that standard that Alex Summers sets inside that ring.
32:49And I'm going to tell you guys right now, if you have the opportunity to go and see him live, go and see Alex Summers live coming in October at Wrestling for a Cause if he gets it locked down.
33:00And then also, if you want to just chit-chat with him, he's made it clear that he may be going to Ego Pro Wrestling for 20 at 11, 22, 25, right there in their normal spot, the Armory.
33:14Go out there and chat with him.
33:16Get going.
33:16And then next year, as well, at the Farley Con, he has locked it down for August 1st and 2nd.
33:23Is that correct or was it 2nd and 3rd?
33:25I think it's 1st and 2nd, maybe 2nd and 3rd, but it's the first weekend in August.
33:32First weekend in August, guys.
33:33You can get out there and you can talk to him.
33:35And you can catch him live at any of the events that have been mentioned here tonight.
33:38The NAWA event, as soon as they get that book, we will let you know on our page as well.
33:43Alex, I want to give you the last words tonight, sir.
33:47Would you like to say anything to anybody watching out there?
33:52First off, I want to thank you, Joseph, for being here tonight.
33:55Let me be on here.
33:57Secondly, to all the fans there, whether you love me or hate me, always remember, support wrestling.

34:08We got some more.
34:09We got to take the world on.
34:10We got one last ride left in us.
34:13And as far as one final thought, just remember, whether I'm simply amazing or anti-hero, Alex
34:20Summers doesn't play around.
34:22I'm there to win.
34:26Absolutely.
34:27And thank you guys so much for being here tonight.
34:29I want to thank each and every one of you for coming in and viewing, whether you are on Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Kick, Rumble, Trovo, or if you're joining us on Buzzsprout, Spotify, or anywhere that you get this podcast besides iTunes.

34:59We would love to have you do that.
35:00And let's not forget one more time, for Josh Turner himself, you can scan this QR code.
35:05It will take you to his Pro Wrestling Tees for the Fight for Autism, where all profits are split 50-50 between the Fight for Autism and Josh Turner himself right now.
35:15Definitely scan that code.
35:16Get your shirt today and support a good cause.
35:19And until the next time we meet, thank you, Alex Summers, for being here tonight.
35:24Princess Lady Kay, the old evil Spock Bunny, thank you for being here.
35:27And remember, you guys heard it here first on WrestleTalk with a Rabid Beaver.
35:32Bye, guys.
