00:00This was an idea that I've had for quite a while and following the success we've had in Bexhill with the roaring 20s, the 60s revolution, the 70s one last year was great.
00:14I just think a country in western stroke wild west will capture the imagination.
00:20Country music is really big now anyway but to incorporate wild west skills, stunt action cowboys, that is never going to be quiet.
00:29So I think there's so much going to go on for everybody to see throughout the day.
00:34I think it's going to capture the imagination for the community and sort of visitors too which is important for the town.
00:41On the terrace at the Delaware we'll have a stage, we've got really top class country bands coming, we've got a line caller so they will teach and people can do line dancing en masse, that's always going to be a popular thing.
00:55On the sloping lawns we'll have classic American cars and as you approach the bottom of the sloping lawns, it's the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future trilogy.
01:06So we're very fortunate to have the Back to the Future DeLorean car with all the gadgets, with all the lights, with the dashboards set at 6th September 1885.
01:18People can have their photos taken with that but as you walk past that you'll go on to the main lawn which will become a wild west town with tombstone market, saloon, sideshows, arena for performances,
01:31Mexican mariachi band, strolling cowboys with banjos, lasso skills and workshops, whip cracking skills, gun skills and when I say the gun skills I don't mean shooting somebody but the fact is that it will be gun spinning skills and the highlight is the cowboys that are stunt action.
01:53They are phenomenal and that is never going to be quiet so that is going to be really exciting for every age group.
02:00And I always want to create something that somebody hasn't seen before shall we say to a certain extent and I don't know where else you're going to see a country in western stroke wild west act in this area.
02:12So therefore we would hope to bring people in from all over which will help the Bexdale local economy and when communities come together especially with a free event because these are hard times for like a lot of families and I know events are charging they have to charge but if you've got a family of four that can work out quite expensive.
02:32So if we can keep free events which means that when they come here all they've got to buy is they want to go on the vintage fun fair that we'll have that will cost a little bit and also buy food and drink but all the entertainment all the shows will be free and I think that is a really good thing for all the families.
