On a day that was supposed to be filled with celebrations of Liverpool’s 20th English league title, tragedy briefly overshadowed triumph. During the club’s victory parade through the city, a car drove into a crowd on Water Street, injuring dozens of supporters, including children.
While police confirmed the incident was not terror-related and made an arrest, the shocking scenes left a sombre mark on what should have been a moment of pure jubilation.
