00:00Aston Villa and Newcastle United are both approaching crucial league fixtures against Manchester United, whose season is under growing pressure.
00:10Michael Carrick remains in charge at Old Trafford, despite mounting speculation over his future following a poor run of results.
00:20United's upcoming clashes could prove decisive, with Carrick needing an immediate response to ease concerns.
00:27Villa and Newcastle will both see their fixture as an opportunity to take advantage of United's uncertainty and strengthen their
00:36own league campaigns, if Michael Carrick is still in the dugout for those fixtures.
00:43I've really mixed emotions. I didn't really expect that of the supporters, if I'm honest, but I've always felt the
00:54support and always felt that connection with them anyway.
01:00You're probably sick of me saying all the times, the amount of times I've sat here and said it, the
01:04respect that I have for them and for them to kind of show that back meant an awful lot.
01:09I take the responsibility, of course, I take responsibility. I've said that, I accept the responsibility.
01:15Whatever's going to happen results-wise, whether we win, we lose, draw, whatever happens, and through the whole football club,
01:21I'm in this position because I respect the position that I'm in and the responsibility is mine.
01:27What else can I say, really, right now?
