00:00We got Shakalova who pulled that upset over Velasquez going against Bishop
00:03and then Karmouche, you know, Bishop and Karmouche,
00:06both longtime veterans, Karmouche is going to go against Donna.
00:08So there you have kind of the experience and the longtime vets
00:12versus the youth in both those ones.
00:14That's exactly what we want.
00:15I remember I was talking to Jenna Bishop and what personality she has
00:21and also trying to add things to her game.
00:25And she's great friends with Angela Hill.
00:28And Hill was there to support her.
00:33And they said, listen, we understand we still have it.
00:36And then you got Liz Karmouche who told me, I've got two bucket list finishes
00:40I still want to do before my career is over.
00:45She got one of them in the first round, and that was a liver knockout.
00:49She has something that off the top of my head right now that she's calling it.
00:53I can't remember what she's calling it,
00:54but it has something to do with beating up against the cage.
00:57And she is actively trying while winning to make history for herself.
01:03I thought that was incredibly cool.
01:04That's a storyline.
01:06And then on the other side, my goodness,
01:08we didn't know that Vasco was going to lose like that.
01:10And she looked devastated in the smart cage.
01:14That's what I love about the world tournament as opposed,
01:16and I was not completely on board with it at first,
01:19is that it's one and done.
01:21There is no safety net.
01:22Last year, if you lost in the first round,
01:24you still had an opportunity in your second fight if you got the bonus points
01:28to make it to the playoffs.
01:29This year, you're seeing that emotion when a fighter like a Juliana Vasquez loses,
01:35and all of a sudden, she's like, wait a second.
01:37I'm at this point in my career.
01:38Where do I go from here?
01:40And that, to me, is the beauty of MMA and prize fighting and the glory of it
01:46and also the devastation of it, too.
01:48And then that June 27th card, we're getting in some great action.
01:51We get the light heavyweights, heavyweights, the middleweights.
01:54I mean, you're getting matchups like in the middleweight tournament,
01:56Edwards versus Silvera, Rosta versus Jeffrey, some heavy hitters in that one.
02:00And then Phil Davis pulling the upset going against Sullivan Colley.
02:03That should be some great power, as well as Carlos Jr. versus Powell.
02:06I mean, Powell.
02:08You're going to get some great finishes in that card to finish up the semifinals,
02:12for sure.
02:12Very quickly, I know we've got to get out of here,
02:15but there's some names I want people to focus on.
02:18Phil Davis, notoriously not a great puncher.
02:20He had a big-time knockout.
02:22Dalton from down in America's top team.
02:24This kid is somebody we're going to completely get behind.
02:26And Fabian Edwards, he said we should have started elbows a long time ago.
02:30And he had a great knockout of MIMPA, as well.
02:32So all three nights, Nashville, Chicago, and also Nashville, Wichita, Chicago,
02:39they're going to be great nights.
02:40And I hope people come out.
02:41They watch them because up close and personal, right now,
02:44we've got a lot of momentum, and we want to keep that going.
