00:00Dave Mundell and Mike Perry for the longest time.
00:01The redneck has been chasing him down.
00:03You see him talking to him at events where they're both at.
00:06It just seems like Perry doesn't want to fight him.
00:08In fact, Perry was in Dyer's DMs before he won that fight,
00:11allegedly saying that he loved to fight him.
00:12So we'll see, you know, what happens if that comes to fruition.
00:15But Mundell does get another title fight here,
00:17opening up things in Albuquerque again against, you know,
00:21Albuquerque's own Donald Sanchez.
00:22He's been calling for that title shot.
00:24He finally gets it, and the redneck is coming to his territory
00:26to fight him to start off June.
00:30That will be very interesting because, you know,
00:31Mundell's been one of our best guys, definitely pound for pound right up there.
00:36But, I mean, Sanchez, he looks like he's got so much experience,
00:40and he's finally understanding the sport more.
00:43He just keeps getting better and better.
00:44The last three fights, he just, he's looking like a different fighter.
00:47So that's what makes that intriguing.
00:49I mean, he had a high-level fighter, higher level and more experience than Mundell.
00:53However, this is Mundell's world.
00:56He's had way more barrenogel fights.
00:58And Sanchez to that level at this point.
01:00That's what makes this intriguing.
01:01We're going to find out.
01:03And then, you know, we've got to fight after that.
01:05The next week at Mohegan Sun up in Connecticut.
01:07You know, a good heavyweight battle.
01:09But, you know, disrespect to those guys.
01:10We've got so many fights coming up in these next couple months that we have to hit.
01:13I've got to skip that one and go right to you.
01:15Down south, Texas, the first time the BKFC will be there with BKFC 76.
01:19And we get a rematch at the lightweight division.
01:22We were, you know, waiting to see what was going to happen with this belt.
01:24There are multiple guys calling for a shot at Tanaglia, even from different weight divisions going up and down.
01:29They kind of wanted to meet in the middle and fight this guy for the title.
01:31But the first one who gets the crack at him is the guy who had the last crack at him.
01:35And that is Tony Soto getting a rematch.
01:37And what was the fight of the year?
01:39I don't see how we couldn't redo this fight.
01:41One of the best fights I've been to live, like I said many times, it looked like a Rocky movie.
01:46They were both drained at the end.
01:49They were laying so many shots.
01:50There was knockdowns.
01:51Somebody got him off the canvas to win, you know, it's my favorite thing.
01:55And I couldn't believe, you know, Tanaglia didn't get knocked down multiple times.
02:00He got hit to the body.
02:01He was almost down.
02:02He didn't go down.
02:03That saved him.
02:04What an incredible fight.
02:06I really think that was next level.
02:08I can't wait to see it again.
02:10We got Orlovsky coming.
02:11We got Jessica Ai coming.
02:12I mean, this is going to be a big deal to be in Texas from now on.
02:16Yeah, I was going to bring up, you know, of course, Ai and Agapova both making their BKSC debuts and battling each other.
02:21That should be great.
02:22But Andrei Orlovsky, the pit bull, I know, you know, it's had a tough run in the UFC, you know, recently.
02:28But, you know, if there's anybody who's watched MMA over the last 20 years, they know the pit bull.
02:32I mean, I was ringside watching him and Fedor duke it out for affliction fights back there in California years ago.
02:39You know, I can't wait to see what he does in the BKSC, taking off the gloves, getting rid of the ground action, just him standing there trading with a guy like Dos Santos, who just took out another former UFC heavyweight in Olenic.
02:49Well, here's the thing with Orlovsky.
02:52He's really proven to me when he's able to do what he needs to do in bare knuckle, hit and not get hit.
02:57When he's able to do that, he's phenomenal.
02:59If he gets in and starts trading punches, he's going to have problems, especially in bare knuckle.
03:03But, man, I've seen him.
03:04He looks big.
03:04He looks strong.
03:05He looks athletic.
03:06If he just really sticks to his technical boxing and tries to be evasive, be elusive, and really focus on his defense, he's going to dominate.
03:14And you're going to see another guy like that the following week who's, you know, game plan is usually hit and not get hit.
03:19A lot of head movement, a lot of getting out of the way, and that is Conor Tierney defending that U.K. belt that he has over there in Birmingham against Danny Christie, who, of course, is coming off the loss to Mundell.
03:28But, you know, if you're not from shifts, because his only two losses are Mundell and Warren.
03:32So if you're not shifts combat, he's beating everybody else.
03:34Can he do it to Conor Tierney?
03:37I mean, it's a different style of fight.
03:39So if he can apply that pressure, if he can land some hard shots, we know that's possible.
03:44He just has to land those powerful shots.
03:46Tierney is not the same kind of guy.
03:48He is not going to come out and try and overpower Christie.
03:51So styles make matchups because A beats B doesn't mean B beats C.
03:56You know, fight mad doesn't work out.
03:58It just styles make matchups, and that's what we're going to find out.
04:01And, of course, having two great fighters from the U.K. facing off against each other is always going to get that crowd hype.
04:06I mean, you've been there for these fights over there before.
04:10How excited are you to get a matchup like that of hometown guys?
04:13It's great enough when you get one of those guys in there, and you kind of have the whole arena, I'm sure, there for them.
04:17But when you get two, you're going to have divided, you know, loyalties, you're going to have people going back and forth.
04:22You might get many fights in the stands as you are in that squared circle.
04:26What people don't realize is, you know, my first bare-knuckle fight was in England.
04:30It was before it was legal here in the United States at all.
04:34They have some very passionate fans, and they got, like, those soccer hooligans.
04:37You know, they're just a different level of intensity that we're not really used to having here sometimes.
04:43So that could be very intense, and there's a lot of national pride or, you know, not nationals, right?
04:48But, like, their little province, there's – I mean, there's a lot of pride going on.
04:52There's going to be – I wouldn't be surprised if there's multiple fights, like you said, in the crowd.
04:57Right.
04:57If you think the fans get rough enough between, like, New York and Philly or New York and Boston in the U.S.,
05:02you know, Birmingham and Liverpool is a lot worse.
05:04So can't wait to see what guys like that are going to be doing as they support their guys on that great fight card
05:10and then take a week off.
05:12Luckily, they give you one there.
05:13You got everything going in June.
05:15You got one week off for July 4th and then right back at it in Florida
05:18where we finally see the return of Bumae Adams but not taking a cakewalk fight here
05:22trying to get back in the heavyweight mix.
05:24Going against the hottest guy in the promotion in Leonardo Perdomo,
05:27who's just rolled through everybody.
05:28Hasn't even made it through a first round in the heavyweight division.
05:31And that's why I really wanted to see this fight.
05:34I've been begging for it for a while because Adams is so good, especially early.
05:38Sometimes he fades, he gets tired.
05:40We haven't seen Perdomo go past the round.
05:41I think Adams could be the guy who could make him go past the round and we'll see what he has.
05:45Maybe Perdomo can do that for five rounds.
05:47Maybe he can't.
05:48We have no idea.
05:49We need to find out if there's any holes in his game, if he has any kinks in that armor.
05:54I think Adams is the guy to do it.
