00:03the next week between Porter and Kleckler.
00:05You know, it's a decent enough fight,
00:06but we're going to move on to some of the higher ones
00:08because we've got limited time here
00:09before we have to move on and talk about
00:10some of the other great fights we have coming up this summer
00:12in these other organizations.
00:14Let's go to Tejas, Texas, down there.
00:16The first time the next week that the BKFC
00:18will be down in the big state,
00:20and that is going to be between Tenaglia and Soto,
00:23the rematch for these guys for that lightweight title.
00:26Of course, we talked about that Spain card there
00:28with Dave Mundell.
00:29We last saw him fight there, as we did also see
00:32Tony Soto and Tenaglia.
00:34Soto 6-1 in the BKFC.
00:35His only loss was that title defeat against Tenaglia
00:39in a majority decision,
00:41going all five rounds with the champ.
00:43So now they get to rematch.
00:44It was such a good fight.
00:46We're going to see it happen again between those two guys.
00:48We're looking forward to that one.
00:49Hopefully he can live up to the first one
00:51and be just as good, if not better,
00:52and we'll see if it is the same type of result
00:56as we saw the first time in Spain
00:57now that we bring it back here to the U.S.
01:00Also coming up this summer,
01:02just a few weeks after that,
01:04just one week after that,
01:05is another card,
01:06this time back overseas in Birmingham,
01:08BKFC 77.
01:10We're going to have another title on the line
01:12as Connor Tierney puts his U.K. belt up
01:15against Danny Christie.
01:16That one's going to be out there June 28th in Birmingham.
01:20It is going to be a battle between two guys
01:21who have made some big names for themselves over in Europe,
01:24but of course also fought here
01:25and have fought for some of the best fighters in the BKFC.
01:28Christie, of course, is 5-2 in his BKFC record.
01:32Those only two losses coming to Dave Mundell,
01:35who last fought in that Spain card
01:37that we just talked about a couple minutes ago,
01:39and his other loss to Jared Warren.
01:41So pretty much, unless you are a member of Shift Combat,
01:44he has beaten you in the BKFC.
01:46He's lost to the two guys from Shift.
01:48Otherwise, he's beaten everybody else,
01:50seeing if he can do that streak against Connor Tierney.
01:52Tierney just took this title last August over there in the U.K.
01:56Of course, you know, had some struggles before that.
01:59Looked like he was going to be an up-and-comer in the BKFC,
02:02fighting for titles, taking things over
02:03as an 8-2 bare-knuckle record,
02:06but lost to Lindsey over there in the U.K.
02:09back in March of 2023.
02:11Took some time off to kind of re-evaluate himself,
02:14get himself back to where he wanted to be training
02:16and, you know, mentally focused,
02:18and looked great in his last fight
02:19to take that vacant U.K. belt.
02:21So now we'll see if he can hold on to it
02:22in his first title defense against Danny Christie.
