00:17No, 100%. And that's why it's funny because people were talking about the other comment

00:20that Cora made recently where he was like, hey, if you told us we were going to be in this spot

00:24in spring training, I would have taken it. It's like, okay, fine, maybe you would have.

00:27But if I told you that with six weeks to go in the season, you had a six-game lead

00:32for the Wild Guard and you blew that, what would you say then?

00:35So that's why Lou Maloney is, and I like Lou, let me preface that,

00:39but he's fighting everybody on Twitter because that's how many people are mad about it.

00:42That's how many people are pointing to Alex Cora because what else are you going to point to at this point?

00:46Hey, shut up. He has more bad seasons than good seasons, right? He does.

00:51Alex Cora has way more bad seasons than good seasons.

00:53He's made the playoffs twice. Anyone could have made it with the team in 2018.

00:56I was going to say, the 2018 was an absolute wagon, so he gets credit for it, and that's great,

01:00but that's also a long time ago.

01:01Yeah, I don't know that everybody wins with that team. I'll give Cora some credit on that,

01:04but everybody makes it with that team.

01:06In 2021, he gets more credit, but yeah, he's made the playoffs twice as manager at the Red Sox.

01:10Yeah. He's like last place finishes in there, just mess.

01:13And really, for the most part, second half collapses, right?

01:18And usually it starts earlier. They've had so many bad Augusts.

01:20That was something we highlighted during the trade deadlines.

01:22They usually have a bad trade deadline, which is on the GMs, but then they snowballs and

01:27they're just bad on the field results.

01:28And I think when they're doing well, we give Cora credit.

01:32He started out terribly, and then he did turn it around.

01:34We gave him credit for August. We're like, good.

01:36We didn't know how his team would do in August. It generally sucks.

01:40And now, if I'm going to give him credit for August, I need to give him some blame for

01:44what's going on in September.

01:46Remember, I don't think he's impervious to criticism.

01:49I know a lot of people think it's all baseball ops.

01:53People hate Breslau, and that's fine.

01:55I have a more favorable view of Breslau.

02:01But if you think it's all about baseball ops, then I don't get how you can like Cora as a

02:10If you think baseball ops makes all these decisions, you don't need to pay Cora $7 million a year.

02:17So what exactly does he do?

02:18If he doesn't do that, what does he do?

02:21And if he doesn't do anything, I'm pretty sure you can fire him if this team collapses.
