00:00All right guys, how are you? Welcome to Ashford again. Today we are showcasing Gun Out, which a
00:16couple of weeks ago we showcased our third season sires at Jack Christopher and all those guys.
00:22But today we're here with Gun Out, who he was a must-buy horse for us that we wanted to get
00:28to stand here at Ashford because of his precociousness of a two-year-old and he raced on until he
00:35was four. So the soundness was there with him and his speed was there. And as you know, Ashford
00:42always likes to stand very fast and precocious two-year-olds because we believe that they're
00:46the ones that make great stallions. As you can see, this guy's a beautiful individual. He's
00:52obviously a bike gun runner. He's bred some magnificent mares. We've just now been going
00:58around seeing some foals born of him when we were out in Ron Winchell's yesterday with
01:03his team. And there we saw three beautiful foals out of very nice mares. One of them was the
01:09Dam of Disarm. The other one was out of Margo's Mania, a beautiful foal by Gun Out and also
01:14has a very good gun runner two-year-old in training who's working very well at Keeneland.
01:20They all have very similar characteristics. They're well balanced. They have a lot of
01:28leg. They move well. They all have great conformation. They should be commercially popular.
01:36They remind me a little bit of gun runner's first crop in that when they were born, it was
01:43like they all just came out as cookie cutters. They all have really nice heads, which I kind
01:48of thought would be the case given how attractive Gun Knight is. Gun Knight's a homebred. He is
01:56a tough, sound, durable, ran at two, three, and four, as everybody knows. Multiple grade
02:03one winner. And by gun runner, I don't know what else you'd be looking for. I can't be any
02:08more proud or pleased with him.
02:11He seems to be stamping his foals a lot too, which is very encouraging. They all look to be
02:16cautious like him and they'll stay sound. He ran as a four-year-old. He won the Group
02:21One Fargo. He's been supported by some great mares from the Winchell people. Coolmore have
02:26supported him with some good mares. And we're just very happy with what we're seeing.
02:32We're encouraging the breeders to do now is to breed now at this good price that we have
02:36them at. You can call Ashford for a good deal. And when his two-year-olds come out and running,
02:41hopefully you'll have some good stock to sell.
