Sorghum, also known as Milo, is a cereal grain in the grass family.
Quinoa a flowering plant seed in the amaranth family. It is a pseudograin, since it is cooked and eaten like a grain.
Sorghum is higher in carbs due to its high starch content, but has more protein and iron than quinoa, albeit it’s incomplete protein and both contain non-heme iron which isn’t well absorbed anyway.
