00:21I mean, we're old.

00:26How do you differentiate one win from another?

00:28What makes this one feel different or special to you, too?

00:31I'll tell you what.

00:32I think the longer you hang in the game, not you hang in the game, but the entire attributes,

00:38but you're allowed to be in the game, the more appreciative you become.

00:45It's like, I got 17 whatever duos.

00:47Well, that should be something that will humble you, drop you to your knees.

00:53We had a heck of a run in the 90s, you know?

00:55When we got together for a long time, and we went and did solo projects, you know,

01:01and kicked around for a minute, and we squeezed back together, the chances of, you know,

01:07finding this audience that we have in the last couple of years is pretty minuscule.

01:11But we're looking out there now at crowds going, I don't know how y'all found us, but

01:16this is really cool.

01:17And, you know, it does, it puts energy in these songs.

01:21It's giving us energy in these songs.

01:24More motive and stuff.

01:25Every show sold out is crazy.

01:26Yeah.

01:27It's not crazy.

01:28I mean, the music's really good.

01:30So, outside of the secret to success, what's the secret to, you know, a lasting friendship?

01:36Someone you have to be friends with and also work with for a long time.

01:38Again, I don't know.

01:39It's just fate.

01:40It just happened.

01:41Yeah.

01:42I mean, we did not know one another.

01:43Yeah.

01:44We were throwing together.

01:45He's thinking that we're there writing songs for his solo career.

01:48I'm thinking we're writing songs for mine.

01:50And then we get pitched a deal for a duo.

01:53Yeah.

01:54And we just said, okay, let's jump on a bus, grab some friends, know how to play.

01:59Yeah.

02:00And just stumble through it.

02:03We're definitely, I think we're definitely brothers beyond friends anymore.

02:08You know, we've spent 30-something years beating this thing up and figuring it out year after

02:14It's been quite a journey and a big life journey for both of us, you know.
