00:00Were you out of juice at all? I mean, it's been a long run for you with being in contention.

00:06Of any week, last week was probably the easiest for it because, one, you have a partner to, like, kind of pick you up.

00:13But it's also, like, two alternate shot days. You're only hitting, like, 30-something shots on those days.

00:17So it's not so bad as far as—

00:20That is nice. Now that I think about it, that's kind of nice.

00:21It's not so bad as far as that. I think I was just a little off on Sunday.

00:30You know, I'm not—Sunday, like, Friday and Sunday, I'm not playing my own golf ball. I was playing Ben's ball.

00:36And so, you know, a little off on the chips with that. The irons, like, I wasn't quite swinging it great.

00:44Like, I wasn't, like—

00:45It's not easy. I mean, it's—

00:47I hit a couple, like, actually, like, poor golf shots.

00:50But for the most part, I thought, like, Sunday, a lot of my shots were just, like, C golf shots.

00:57Like, very average. Never really hit anything close.

01:02Not, like, bad. Not necessarily leaving Ben in, like, terrible spots.

01:06But just not quite as good as—

01:09You left him in a great spot on 17.

01:11With that ball, what is in the air where you're like, uh-oh.

01:13So, okay, so one thing about 17, I had, like, a ton of people, like, text me, like,

01:18oh, my God, like, I thought you were in the water for sure on set.

01:22Like, I thought—and I'm, like, looking back, and I'm, like, man, that was a good golf shot.

01:28Like, I landed six feet from the hole.

01:30Like, it just landed—there's, like, one, like, brown downslope slot it landed on,

01:33just took off when it hit.

01:35But, I mean, it was, like—it was a golf shot.

01:37Hell yeah.

01:37And so then I finally—

01:38Especially after watching one go in the water right before you.

01:40And so then, like, this was, like, two days after I actually got around to watching the highlights.

01:46The shot tracer on 17, like, wigged out.

01:49Oh, it didn't start that far right?

01:52It, like, it, like, goes and then stops, and then, like, it—

01:56And I'm, like, okay, I kind of understand why people are freaking out now,

02:01because this thing is not—it, like, had my ball starting, like, almost close to the hole

02:06and then showed, like, a draw.

02:08Oh, okay.

02:08Like, I started it—I gave it plenty of space.

02:11Like, it never—like, water wasn't ever in my mind until it took that huge bounce off the downslope,

02:17and then I was, like, sit.

02:18But even still, like, that green slopes, like, and the fringe slopes away from the water pretty heavily.

02:23I just wanted to sit down.

02:25I didn't think that that club—I hit the club that I hit to land in the middle of the green

02:30and then work back there.

02:31I didn't expect it to fly all the way back to the hole,

02:34but that's probably just a little bit of adrenaline in the moment.

02:37But, like, I kind of liked the shot.

02:39We were—you know, I didn't really change what I was doing based on them hitting in the water

02:44because we still had the Holy Guards in front of us.

02:46They drive it, like, 400 yards.

02:47Like, they might have had 9 iron and 18, for all I know.

02:51Well, they actually got TIA relief.

02:52I don't know.

02:52That's a whole other story to get told.

02:54But, yeah, you know, I was still trying to stay aggressive.

02:59That was something Ben had, like, talked about all week.

03:00Like, let's go get it.

03:03Like, and so, yeah.

03:05But I didn't realize why people were freaking out as much until I saw the shot tracer

03:08that definitely did look like it was kind of scary.

03:11Y'all were playing with Jake Knapp and Frankie Sapp,

03:13and they could—they didn't really make it easy on y'all.

03:16On 17, they hook it in the water.

03:19And then on 18, Jake Knapp has this wet shot.

03:21He lays sod on it, hits it in the bunker.

03:23Yeah.

03:23And so you're a sitting duck over there watching Ben Griffin hit a—what is it?

03:27A 50, 60-yard wet shot.

03:30And you're just like, oh, my God, don't lay the sod.

03:32Don't bone it.

03:33Just get it on the green.

03:34It was probably 35—probably a 35-yard pitch, but he is going up and over that bunker.

03:41But it was right—I mean, it was right where we wanted to leave it.

03:43Like, that was the spot to be, give them all the green.

03:46And right when Jake did that, I looked at my cat.

03:48I was kind of like, man, that's like the last thing I kind of wanted Ben to see there.

03:52Like, because I knew when Jake was hitting the shot, I knew I was like, okay, if he makes this, we're tied up.

03:58We can still get up and down to win.

04:00Because, like, you know, like I'm thinking about the leaderboard.

04:03And so I'm like, you know, kind of like, no way this goes in, right?

04:07And then he did that.

04:08I was like, oh, no, that might be worse.

04:10Like, no, Ben's got to see that.

04:12But it's like, I mean, I still had full faith in Ben.

04:15I mean, he's got, you know, one of the best short games in the world.

04:19He was kind of laughing about it after.

04:21He definitely played it like—I think we were joking about, like, you can't chunk it if you don't touch the ground.

04:27Like, I don't know.

04:27He felt that one a little skinny, I think.

04:30Oh, he did.
