Technocrats Sports Club manager Arlene Ali is seeking the assistance of corporate T&T so the team can make huge strides in time to come.

Technocrats play in the Trinidad and Tobago Women's Cricket Association Premiership Division and Ali is satisfied with what the club has been able to accomplish this year.

00:00Even though technocrats are not in the race for the TNT Women's Cricket Association premier T20 title,
00:06the players can be satisfied with their achievements in 2025.
00:10So says manager Arlene Alley, who believes technocrats did well in the limited overs tournament,
00:16which was eventually won by PowerGen.
00:18Last year we would have failed to win any of our 50-over games.
00:22But this year out of six, we would have won two.
00:25Three we would have lost and one had no outcome.
00:27We also saw an inclusion of more of the Tobago unions as part of our setup,
00:33where we had one last year and this year we were able to include four more.
00:37You know, we bridging the gap between Trinidad and Tobago,
00:40trying to include more of the Tobago unions as part of our setup.
00:47Kwebina Alexander is also a member of technocrats,
00:50but is currently with the TNT Red Force Divas playing in the CWI Women's T20 Blaze in St. Vincent.
00:56According to Alley, women's cricket must be given more attention than it gets in the Twin Island country.
01:02As such, she is making a plea to corporate TNT to assist in whatever way possible.
01:07Female cricketers developing at a fast pace,
01:10and I'm making a plea to corporate Trinidad,
01:12come on board and help support my club to become a force to be reckoned with.
01:17by developing and assisting the local talent in an aim to promote sportsmanship through the game of cricket.
01:27Technocrats is more than just a team.
01:29We are a family.
01:31And we strive to foster discipline, teamwork and personal growth for players of all ages.
01:39Alley is grateful that the team is allowed to train at the Fulham Sports Club ground in Arima.
01:43But she is hoping one day that technocrats can find a place that they can call home.
01:48Yes, we aspire to have a permanent home base
01:51and establish ourselves as a true community-based cricket side.
01:56Having a stable base will allow us to grow grassroot participation,
02:00build strong local ties and represent our community with pride both on and off the field.
02:06We have five players from Tobago.
02:09We have three from Stout, from South, Gasparlo, point 14.
02:14We have six from Central.
02:16And the rest will come from the East-West Corridor.
02:19Seven as far as Maracas.
02:21We have two sisters from up there.
02:23The 2025 season is coming to an end
02:26with technocrats set to play for pride in their final game against AC women.
