00:00You're the it man right now with Sinners. How has the last month and the reception to Sinners been?
00:04Oh, we've been really gracious, man, that the audiences have shown up,
00:08that people have been enjoying the film projections where they can in different formats.
00:14I mean, it's made the world to us.
00:15The biggest thing is, I think, seeing people go over repeat times and people having watch parties
00:21and taking time off from work to go check it out and discuss it.
00:25You know, for us, that's when it gets, that's when you're in a rarefied era as an artist.
00:30You know what I'm saying? And it doesn't always happen like that.
00:32So, you know, we're sure to recognize it and value it and just say thanks to the audience as much as we can.
00:37I mean, people literally can't get tickets to the movie theaters.
00:40It's, like, sold out everywhere. Do we need to, like, extend the run time?
00:44That's a blessing, man.
00:45We're just absolutely grateful that people are responding to the film in such a positive way.
00:52It's fueling us, honestly.
00:53And obviously the audience, sorry, I can totally cut you off.
00:57I can't hear at all.
00:59Totally the audience, like, completely resonated with it.
01:02Are you ready to take it to the Oscars?
01:04Oh, no, we're not even...
01:06One foot in front of the other.
01:07We're just living in this moment and so grateful that, you know, people are, you know,
01:14traveling far distances to see a film print and, like, just wrapping so much excitement behind this film.
01:20That's all we could ever ask.
01:21What matters the most to us is that people are enjoying that theatrical experience.
01:26You know, for us, that's the biggest award we could ever receive.
01:28Let's continue.
