00:00There's going to be somebody going out to the lead.

00:02Rodriguez was one of them we thought that would set the pace.

00:05Some people believe that this is going to be flying.

00:08This could be one of the fastest paces we've seen.

00:11Are you buying that?

00:12Is there a closer here we should be looking at?

00:15Yeah, I think the Derby tends to have a fast pace.

00:18There's just so much at play.

00:21And what's interesting is a ton of the speed drew to the inside.

00:24So all the major speed is on the inside, which is a total bummer for them.

00:29But it does open up the outside of the field.

00:31So I like, too, in here, I do like the favorite journalism.

00:34He has a really good running style for this Derby.

00:36He's clearly the best figures.

00:38He's run faster speed figures than typically win the Kentucky Derby.

00:43He has been running in small fields, though, out in California.

00:47So that's something you could say, well, he's done really well.

00:50But who has he beaten?

00:51He hasn't beaten that many horses in his most recent start.

00:54But it was Rodriguez who now is out.

00:56Baeza, who's now in, and Citizen Bull, who's the other Baffert horse on the inside.

01:01So he's going to be fairly low odds, probably 3 to 1, maybe plus 300.

01:07But a good bet.

01:08And then I also like Sandman, who's the strongest closer in the race.

01:12This horse basically went to his knees in the Southwest at the break.

01:16It was scary.

01:17You're like, oh, my gosh, what's happening?

01:19And then he came back and just overcame so much in that race.

01:23He didn't win.

01:24He got second.

01:24Since then, he won the Arkansas Derby.

01:270 for 3 at Churchill.

01:29But those were early in his career.

01:31I like Sandman.

01:32He'll be a longer price, maybe like 4 or 5 to 1 if you're looking for a big long shot.

01:36The Japanese contingent, Luxor Cafe is the number 7.

01:41Japanese contingent is getting stronger and stronger every single year.

01:45And, you know, they're always a little bit of a wild card because we don't know how they're going to do when they come over here.

01:50But he looks pretty commanding in all of his starts so far.
