00:00A lot of y'all were dazed and confused when I went to the grocery store and picked up this iron skillet style fried cream corn. Frozen cream corn? I didn't know that was a thing. Y'all, where have you been? We were making this stuff in bulk. You get yourself this frozen log. Open up the package. You don't want to thaw it. In the South, fried corn can also mean cream corn. Just depends on kind of how you grew up, where you're from. You're going to heat up your skillet, put your frozen log of corn right on in there. Cover it and then let it cook for a little while with nothing else in it.
00:30Once it starts to heat up, it's going to break apart. Use a wooden spoon to sort of break it up. Once it's thawed, you're going to want to add in a little bit of flavor. Get some bacon grease, plop it in there. Proceed to keep cooking this just until it's warmed through. We're going straight out of the skillet. Look at this. I love the hint of the bacon flavor in there. Yum.
