00:00As Liverpool celebrate the title under Arnie Schlotz,
00:07the focus now shifts to how he'll handle the final few games of this remarkable season.
00:14With the pressure off and Champions League football already secured,
00:17Schlotz has a valuable opportunity to assess his squad in competitive conditions.
00:23These matches offer the perfect platform for rotation, experimentation
00:27and early glimpses of his tactical approach for next season.
00:31Rather than rushing into big decisions, Schlotz is expected to use this period
00:35to observe, figuring out who fits his plans and where summer reinforcements may be needed.
00:41We spoke to Will Rooney of Liverpool World to explore what fans can expect
00:45as this new chapter of their title defence gets underway.
00:50So, Will, looking at Liverpool and obviously now Champions confirmed
00:58in terms of the remainder of the season, these last few games,
01:02how does Arnie Schlotz sort of approach them?
01:04Because it's very easy to sort of drop down in terms of momentum, etc.
01:08when you've won the league and you've got that confirmed over the line.
01:13How does he go about it?
01:13Does he bring some younger players into the fold?
01:16Does he maybe go all out and try and get to that 90 points,
01:19which is achievable?
01:20How do you see it going in terms of these last few games?
01:23I mean, it can just simply be a complete party for the Liverpool fans
01:27from now until the end of the season.
01:29Yeah, I think it'll be, as you say, a month-long fiesta for the supporters.
01:33I don't think they'll care too much.
01:35But Arnie Schlotz, a man of pride, a man who wants to see his team do well.
01:42And I think the fact that Liverpool were back in training on Wednesday
01:46underlines that they haven't been out on the ale for a week long.
01:53They had the celebrations Sunday night, had Monday off, Tuesday off,
01:59and they're back to it.
02:01And as you say, Liverpool want to get as many points as possible
02:05to show that they are very much worthy champions.
02:10There have been so much at the end of the season from detract to saying,
02:13well, it's been a weekly eagle to get to 94 points in any year.
02:18That's a great total.
02:21So we all want to end strongly.
02:23We want to obviously take momentum into next season.
02:26The players will want to be the same as well.
02:28You've got a player like Mo Salah looking to record the most goals
02:31and sit to the Premier League season, want to keep breaking records.
02:35But I think there will be a little bit of rotation.
02:38Some players deserve a chance because Arnie Schlotz said the squad's been
02:43so important this season.
02:45The ones who, you know, he has favoured his core group of 14, 15,
02:50but there have been players who've been there every week in training,
02:55travelling, pushing these players.
02:57You know, he likes it with Taro Endo, who's been excellent in some games
03:01coming off the pitch.
03:02Harvey Elliott has made some valuable contributions.
03:06Gerald Quants has had a frustrating year, but he always had to be patient.
03:14And Arnie Schlotz, it's a chance to manage the workload.
03:18I know that there are only four games left, but these players then will be going
03:21off an international duty as well after.
03:23So there's some competitive games for a lot of them after that.
03:28And if they're playing four more competitive games plus two more in the
03:33internationals, then it increases the chance of getting an injury, doesn't it?
03:38That might seep into pre-season and Arnie Schlotz's got a big chance
03:41in the next pre-season because he'll have all his players back
03:45with there not being any tournament.
03:46So as I say, I think there will be a little bit of rotation.
03:49He won't weaken the sides, it's not like it's going to be wholesale changes.
03:54You will see the likes of, I think, Elliott's end up getting opportunities.
04:00A lot of people doubted him maybe last summer, was he going to be the right
04:04recruiter, was he going to be the right air appointments?
04:07I mean, even after the Tottenham game himself, he admitted that some would have been
04:12looking at it thinking, it's the right choice.
04:14Because he knew he was an unheralded name, but he's gone and proven himself
04:22leaps, you know, manifold.
04:27So if you're, say, a striker in Liverpool needs one, why wouldn't you want to go
04:32and lead the line for Liverpool if you're a left-back?
04:34Why wouldn't you want to go and play in defence that has been excellent
04:38defensively and you're going to have the licence to get forward as well?
04:41Why wouldn't you want to go and do that?
04:44Why wouldn't you want to go and do that?
04:46How would you like to go, 모두?
04:48Why wouldn't you want to go and do that?
04:51The thing about you, look, people.
04:53And so, if you have to go to the centre of the square and fold,
04:56where it's going to be.
04:57You're going in to be too short, you'll be joined next to our centre.
05:01So I'm done to rein with that question.
05:03So that I couldn't change those two sides just as soon as I finish talking
05:05and thinking a little later onising for a couple of two sides
05:07of moving into Toronto.
05:08So yeah, I can do so with a round of two sides.
05:11I really like running though, this is one side of two sides,
05:13and I'm leaning in my approach but I'm vibrating.
