00:18Buy or sell, as we have heard from Abdul Carter,

00:21who was drafted third overall by the Giants,

00:24he wants the idea of 56 unretired

00:26so it can be the number of the Giants' franchise defensively,

00:30much like number 11 is in Happy Valley for Penn State,

00:37of which Abdul Carter wore,

00:38following in the footsteps of Micah Parsons,

00:41who followed in the footsteps of many at linebacker U,

00:44notably LeVar Arrington as well.

00:48The Giants should unretire number 56 for Abdul Carter.

01:32that family goes, what an honor it would be.

01:35My late father, grandfather, my uncle, whoever,

01:38would love to have watched you play with his jersey.

01:40So for 56 to reappear in a Giants jersey,

01:45wrecking quarterbacks left and right,

01:47it would be a sensational tribute to Lawrence Taylor,

01:51and Lawrence Taylor should absolutely love that

01:53with the respect it would have,

01:55because it would almost feel like he's been reincarnated

01:57watching a football game with the Giants

01:59and a number 56 running around like,

02:01man, that used to be my jersey,

02:03and this kid is blowing up quarterbacks left and right.

02:06I love this move.

02:08It should be in play in every franchise,

02:10and even my Philadelphia Eagles should give number five

02:12to a punter as opposed to Donovan McNabb

02:14and having his number retired in Philadelphia.
