00:00It is 93.3 WMMR. Everything that rocks in Philadelphia. I could take my mask off. Come on in, everybody. Come on in, everybody. Welcome to our Z room, the Zoom room. And we have a big MMRBQ to announce. Well, it's been announced. I'm Jackie Bam Bam. And everybody's more than invited. They're welcome. In our studio Zoom room today, we have a very special guest, one of the great eight that's going to join us.
00:24And they're going to bring the crunchy rock and roll, the attitude to our MMRBQ. And it's their first time. I want you to give them a warm, warm welcome.
00:33We have the drummer, Corey Coverstone. Am I saying that right, Corey? Yes. And his wrist looks good. Thumbs up. And that lead singer, Mr. Mark LaBelle from the band Dirty Honey. Hey, guys.
00:47What's up, dude? We're feeling all right. He's doing OK. He's like 50 percent.
00:54Yeah, he's 50 percent at this point. We're going to be 100 percent because you guys are one of the great eight.
00:59We're very, very excited to have you at our MMRBQ September the 25th.
01:04And get your tickets at Ticketmaster.com. Eight great bands. Dirty Honey is one of them.
01:09And I'm not sure you know the lineup yet. Do you guys?
01:13Yeah, I do. Yeah, of course.
01:14Jane's Cheap Trick, Dorothy Offspring, Mammoth.
01:19That's Wolfgang. Dirty Honey.
01:22Yeah. And there's a local band called Foxtrot and the Get Down.
01:25They'll be here first.
01:26Nice.
01:27So it is a Saturday, September 25th.
01:31Will you guys be getting to the show a little bit early to see maybe a favorite band out of them that you just mentioned?
01:37I will definitely be there all day, as as will the band.
01:43I don't know when we're getting into Philly specifically beforehand.
01:47I think we might have a show the night before.
01:48But yeah, man, looking forward to our first MMRBQ.
01:53That'll be good.
01:54Yeah, because this is September 25th.
01:55And you guys just announced you're going to go out on your own headlining club tour.
02:00I'd say maybe 2,000, 3,000 seaters for about four weeks.
02:04And you're taking out another band that's keeping the role in the rock, just like you guys.
02:09And I think that's very, very cool.
02:11Yeah, a little Joyous Wolf action.
02:13They're a great, another great, you know, young band up and coming.
02:17And I think we were supposed to do some shows with them last year.
02:21And for whatever reason, they got canceled pre-pandemic.
02:25But yeah, we're happy to be going out with them again.
02:28Or now for the first time.
02:31But yeah, another great band.
02:33And Corey was just saying how he was listening to them and really, really appreciated their vibe as well.
02:38So we're going to be having a good night of rock and roll rolling through some towns in America shortly here.
02:44Yeah, we're really, really excited to have you at our MMORBQ.
02:49And Mark, I know you did something with one of the acts on our MMORBQ.
02:54You shared the stage with, was it Rick and Robin from Cheap Trick at the Nand Gibson show?
03:00Yeah, that was cool, man.
03:02Robin gave me the mic that night.
03:04That was cool.
03:05That was like, they were both so nice backstage, you know.
03:09I mean, I love that band.
03:11I've seen them a bunch with, you know, throughout the years.
03:14And just a great band.
03:16Great guys, too.
03:17So, Corey, who are you looking forward to seeing the most at our MMORBQ out of them eat that we just mentioned?
03:22To be completely honest, I'm not really very familiar with any of them.
03:26Shut up.
03:29So, more importantly, though, how was your wrist?
03:32You like, was it motocross and you flipped over your handlebars or something?
03:37It was mountain biking on some trails in L.A.
03:41Yeah, and it's getting better.
03:43I've started physical therapy last week and doing the exercises and, yep, it's getting there.
03:50You refused to put a cast on, I heard, when you were rushed to the hospital.
03:53Is that true?
03:54They wanted to put a cast on me pretty much right away and I didn't want to do that.
04:01I went to see an orthopedic doctor first and then, yeah.
04:07I waited like a week to get a cast put on and then they put a cast on me and I'd never got one before, first broken bones.
04:17And the lady was like explaining to me how many years she's been doing this and how experienced she is.
04:24And I'd never broken a bone before.
04:25I'd never had a cast before.
04:26So, I'm just like, yeah, okay, I guess I don't know what to expect.
04:28And as soon as she put it on, the very first like layer in my head, I was like, that feels way too tight.
04:35But I didn't say anything because I didn't know what to expect or how it was supposed to feel.
04:40And then like 10 hours later, it hurt like worse than my broken bones because it was way too tight.
04:48And I was doing everything you were supposed to, like keeping it elevated and icing it.
04:51And so, then I went back to the hospital that I initially went to, had the cast removed.
04:57And then I just said, screw it.
04:58I'm going to stick to my splint that the hospital initially put me in.
05:02I was going to ask you, old school cast, like you couldn't get it wet in the shower kind of thing?
05:07Well, the mistake I made not knowing was that I got the cast that is submergible, apparently.
05:14And it's a different like material that touches your skin.
05:18It's not comfortable at all.
05:19It sucks.
05:20It's miserable.
05:20I wouldn't recommend it.
05:22Pencil down and get the itches going and all that.
05:25Yeah.
05:25I just said, screw it.
05:26I'm going to take this thing off.
05:29So, it held up a little bit of rehearsing, I take it, right?
05:33Well, we haven't rehearsed yet.
05:36Okay.
05:37You still have time.
05:39And Mark, you also, back to that show, well, not that show, you broke your leg, was it?
05:46And you're rolling around backstage when you guys opened for Guns N' Roses to two shows in Vegas?
05:51And that was your birthday.
05:52That was for, that was when we went out with Slash the first time in like Phoenix.
05:59Yeah, I broke my leg playing hockey.
06:01That was not good timing on that one.
06:05But I could still sing.
06:06I could still sing.
06:07So, I popped a couple of leave, faked it until I made it, got through the gigs.
06:11And then, yeah, a year later, flash forward to opening up for Guns, everybody was like,
06:16weren't you the guy that was on a broken leg?
06:19And I was like, yeah.
06:20Did you have to call Grohl or Axel Yeo?
06:22I need that chair.
06:23I need that chair.
06:24Give me the throne.
06:25Yeah, exactly.
06:26We didn't have the budget, though, to lug the throne around.
06:30You mentioned hockey.
06:31I guess I'm going to bring up a Flyers jersey.
06:33No Pittsburgh Pen Wings or Rangers shirts, right?
06:36At our MMRBQ mark.
06:37I don't know.
06:38I don't know if I can rock a Flyers jersey.
06:40I'll rock an Eagles jersey.
06:42You can give me an Eagles jersey.
06:43I'll put on the Phillies stuff.
06:4676ers, whatever.
06:47I'm not a basketball guy.
06:48Okay.
06:49I don't know.
06:50You climb those rafters and those stacks, I see.
06:53I don't know, man.
06:54Yeah, I don't know if I would if it were the right player.
06:59We'll put it that way.
07:00Okay.
07:01I don't have a deep hatred for Philly sports like, you know, some people do.
07:07Hey, we're speaking of Philadelphia here.
07:10And believe it or not, you guys, well, you, Mark, I'm not sure you, Corey,
07:16have any connections here in Philadelphia.
07:17But, Mark, you've been on my annual Santa Tracker shows for a couple years now.
07:21And you have family here in Philadelphia, a couple of cousins.
07:24They're probably listening and watching us now.
07:27And you want to shout them out?
07:28Yeah, I got to say hi to the Villeneys and to the Greenbergs.
07:31Good family, friends out there.
07:34And, but yeah, the Villeneys, my cousin, he's super supportive.
07:38Listen to MMR all the time.
07:39He's always sending me little screenshots of him in the car, listening to Dirty Honey.
07:42So that's always cool.
07:43But yeah, he's a really close cousin of mine and Philly native now.
07:49And he loves it.
07:51So that's going to eat up the guest list for the MMRBQ, right?
07:55Let me write them down right now.
07:56Put them back.
07:57A big Italian family will quickly eat up a guest list.
08:01You can be assured of that.
08:02And another thing, Nick DiDia, Mark DiDia, big, big relationship here in Philadelphia.
08:09You guys, Corey, you guys are both close to 30 years of age.
08:15Showing my age here, growing up in Philadelphia.
08:18Your manager, who runs your management company, Mark DiDia, was in radio before he was in labels,
08:26before he took on management.
08:28But I used to run a great, great show here in Philadelphia called Metal Shot.
08:31One of the first to play Wasp, F Like a Beast, and Ed Green, Mark Laspina.
08:37Great, great guys, part of your management company that love you.
08:41And they're like, before you guys even put the EP out, they're like, Jackie, you are going
08:46to love this band because there's the role in the rock.
08:49And those guys, like I said, all over Philadelphia, they're even in a band called the Bloody Stools.
08:54And if you're not familiar with Mark DiDia, the Black Crows, he's driving that little drum
09:00cart in the twice as hard video.
09:02That's the only, I guess, the way you can only see them is in that video.
09:06But there's a great Philadelphia connection.
09:09And the way Philadelphia bands work, guys, is we're not out there showboating around.
09:14We work hard.
09:15And I think that's why they noticed you guys immediately and said, you know, I want to
09:21work with you.
09:21And I think that's a great honor.
09:23Yeah, I would say, yeah, DiDia, Mark had that metal shop show.
09:29I think it was on MMR back in the day.
09:31I'm not sure about that, but it was definitely in Philadelphia.
09:34It broke a lot, a lot of bands back in the 80s.
09:38And that's where he got it.
09:39Bon Jovi, one of them.
09:40Yeah.
09:41He was in this band called Bloody Stools.
09:43Google them.
09:44Is that like, is that the excrement or the actual physical store?
09:51We won't go there.
09:52Okay.
09:53But yeah, they're both great Philly guys.
09:56So, you know, we definitely have a hook in the city there, but, you know, Nick cut his
10:03teeth working there.
10:04So did Mark.
10:04Obviously both got their intro into the music biz and Nick now, unfortunately he did a
10:09180 on, he lives in Australia, but yeah, man, they're, they're two salt of the earth guys
10:16and, you know, they're in our corner and we're super happy to have some Philly boys.
10:22And his brother now, Nick, he said he produced your EP and he produced this brand new self-titled
10:29debut for you guys in Australia.
10:31And let's back up a minute.
10:33The border shut down.
10:34We had to go use a back plan the day you were supposed to fly out there and record
10:40with Nick in Australia, where studio is.
10:43Yeah.
10:43So we kind of had to go back to the drawing board on about how to get this thing done
10:46and took a couple months to write some more tunes and work out the kinks and some other
10:51ones and, uh, got on zoom with Nick and started doing pre-production.
10:56And we kind of figured out this might be a way to move forward with the band in LA and
11:01him in Australia.
11:02And we figured out a way to do it all via zoom.
11:05And so we jumped into Henson studios, everybody had a little, little computer, whatever with
11:11Nick on zoom.
11:12And he was coming through your headphones as well in real time.
11:15And it worked unbelievably well.
11:17And, um, you know, we're grateful.
11:20We're grateful that it worked out and the record is as good as it is.
11:23Cause it, um, you know, we were definitely questioning, you know, what the hell we were
11:28doing at the time, but, uh, did it feel pretty good?
11:31I mean, emphasize on the word feel here and God, man, you guys really bring it.
11:35It feels like, you know, all four of you in the room recording, but I mean, you know, you're
11:40going in real time here with him in Australia.
11:42What were you thinking in your head?
11:45Well, is this going to work or you just totally trust it, Nick?
11:50Everybody was skeptical about it.
11:52No doubt.
11:52I mean, it was not an ideal situation.
11:55We all wanted him to fly to America and, you know, but even that was, he would have
12:00to quarantine in Australia upon return for 14.
12:02He didn't want to do that.
12:03And it was, it was sketchy all the way around, but once we got in there and got to work, it
12:08felt amazing.
12:09Honestly, it felt fine.
12:10Now we said the border shut down and all you guys actually benefited with the pandemic
12:15and Corona because you got an extra couple of weeks to work on more, like we could say
12:21pre-production songs before you actually sat down with Nick, right?
12:24Yeah.
12:25I mean, there's probably four songs that got finished in that pandemic period alone.
12:32I mean, had it not happened, who knows how many songs would have been on the, you know,
12:36this release, I guess.
12:37Was California Dreamin' one of the last ones to make it?
12:41Yeah.
12:42Yeah, it was.
12:43I think it was the last one to make it.
12:44Okay.
12:45Because I'm looking at your past set lists and a lot of these songs, well, I wouldn't
12:49say a lot, but quite a few of them, you were, you know, playing out live, but California
12:54Dreamin' never showed up.
12:56I mean, that came out with the riff and you just, you guys just took it from there or?
13:00That was totally a pandemic baby.
13:02He had the riff and Corey actually kind of, I sang something and he was the one that was
13:07like, that melody over the riff is really nice.
13:11You should develop that.
13:12And that was, that was probably two months before we came back to it and said, you know,
13:19let's work on this one and finish it, you know.
13:22A couple of the songs on the brand new album, by the way, congratulations, eight songs, don't
13:27bore us, get to the chorus, checking in with less than 40 minutes.
13:31I think you got maybe two songs over four minutes.
13:35That's real rock and roll.
13:36That's 70s.
13:37That's what it's about, man.
13:39Punch him in the, I don't want, I almost said.
13:41Punch him in the fucking head, man.
13:45That's what it's all about.
13:46Dirty rock and roll.
13:47And what is the one song, Corey, you had a snare drum, Nato had a arrangement and Mark,
13:53you came in and said, wait a minute, you do this, you do that.
13:56And then it came into, is it the morning or what song was that?
14:01Uh, I think you're talking about Gypsy, maybe the snare drum intro.
14:06Right, right.
14:07Yeah.
14:07That was just kind of an accident.
14:09I was just messing around basically.
14:11And Nato, I don't remember how exactly it happened, but Nato was playing the riff and we were like,
14:15I don't know, maybe I was tired or frustrated or just joking or doing the thing that seemed
14:22most inappropriate.
14:23And it ended up being the thing that made it into the song.
14:27Congratulations on, uh, California dream.
14:29And now two videos.
14:31And you had a couple of special guests joining you, I believe last week or two, uh, you know,
14:36people know, people know, people kill people.
14:38Who were these special guests in this video?
14:40The second time you shot it.
14:42Yeah.
14:42We had, uh, our buddy, Taylor kitsch and Derek Phillips.
14:46Um, they wanted Taylor reached out.
14:50He's a really good friend and he was just like, I want to do, let's do something for
14:53the release day.
14:55Um, and so we shot this, this fun video with, you know, these two actors who are both obviously
15:03really good actors.
15:04And we limited the band's acting participation, uh, consciously in the video to, uh, make sure
15:11it didn't come out bad.
15:12Um, but yeah, he came up with this pretty funny concept and I was like, yeah, let's do
15:16it.
15:17Let's just do it.
15:17It'll be good.
15:18And, and he's just such a great friend and supporter of the band that, you know, he,
15:22he really wanted to do something fun and special.
15:25Mark, you have a, uh, major in communications and broadcasting.
15:29Were you on radio before you, uh, formed the band?
15:33WMMR Mark LaBelle here for you.
15:35This is dirty honey coming at you.
15:3710 41 AM 72 and sunny out here in beautiful Philadelphia.
15:42Stop trying to do my dig.
15:44I work in radio too.
15:48What's that?
15:49No, no, I didn't.
15:50I, I just had to, I had to find the, uh, the major with the least, uh, with the least,
15:59uh, ability to do anything with.
16:02So that was communications.
16:03So you came out in New York.
16:06Um, Corey, where did you originally come from?
16:09Born and raised in LA or no?
16:11In the suburbs of Portland, Oregon.
16:14Oh, okay.
16:15And you were bought into the band through the bass player.
16:18Am I right on that?
16:19Right.
16:20Yeah.
16:20Him and I, uh, we're basically like, I don't know, side musicians playing in different
16:25projects.
16:26Justin was already playing with, uh, John and Mark.
16:30And, um, and I knew Justin from way back doing a random country gig or something.
16:35Wow.
16:36Okay.
16:36And of course your influence is Aerosmith, Black Crows, Rolling Stones, Zeppelin, Guns and
16:42Roses.
16:42You're a drummer and you know, a thing or two about the swing and it definitely shows, man.
16:47Like kind of like Joey, walk this way and you know, you get it.
16:51Yeah.
16:51Nice.
16:52Neil Peart.
16:53Can't forget him.
16:54Alex Van Halen.
16:55Yeah.
16:55Yeah.
16:55Of course.
16:56And, um, I want to go back to where you even got the band name, but I'm sure you told
17:01it a million times, but maybe people don't know, Mark, you were listening to a radio
17:05program and Robert Plant was on and I love it because he wasn't talking about Zeppelin.
17:10He was talking about that great EP.
17:11He only put one or two out with an amazing lineup, the good old honey drippers.
17:15And you said, Hey, wait a minute, that's a cool, dirty rock and roll name.
17:19I think I'll call the band dirty honey.
17:20Is that how it came about?
17:22Yeah.
17:23We had the name, uh, in our, in our list of, uh, bad band names that we'd used it before.
17:31And, uh, we, uh, we, we got into the point where we were a different band name every week
17:36and it was getting extremely confusing.
17:38What were some of your other names?
17:39Oh man, there was the shags, there was new Amsterdam, there was loose cannon, there was
17:47ground zero.
17:48There was, uh, it was, they were all, there's a myriad of just worse and worse names.
17:54And then everybody voted on dirty honey was cool with that.
17:57Yeah.
17:57So when Robert Plant was on, was on the radio talking about the honey drippers, I was like,
18:01we've used dirty honey before.
18:02That one's pretty good.
18:03I think.
18:04And we all went back and we were like, that's definitely the best one.
18:07Let's, let's, let's end this, uh, carousel of names and, and go with dirty honey.
18:13So yeah, it's pretty, uh, we were pretty fortunate.
18:17So let's go back even further.
18:19Uh, you moved from, uh, upstate New York or New York city and, uh, you were in a cover
18:25band and not okay to see, I guess.
18:27And you're like, Hey, I moved out here to be in a band like guns and roses saw you and you
18:32guys had the same dreams and said, let's, let's go for this.
18:35Yeah.
18:35He came and played at one of my gigs and I thought he just looked cool.
18:39He played amazing.
18:40Um, and we were kind of kindred spirits, had a lot of the same influences musically.
18:45And, you know, I was telling him what I was trying to do.
18:48I was trying to be in an original rock band and he was like, let's go.
18:51So, um, you know, we had a rotating again, we had to carry ourselves the other, the bass
18:56player and the drummer took a while to find, but we're grateful that Corey and Justin,
19:01you know, were found eventually.
19:03And we're down to do an original thing.
19:06Justin was born and raised in LA and lives on the sunset strip these days in an apartment
19:11too.
19:12He just moved off of, uh, out of Hollywood and he's, he's, he's closer to me on the
19:17West side now, but yeah, he did for a long time.
19:19Okay.
19:20And you guys, speaking of, you just did a show a couple of months ago, I guess, right
19:24when the pandemic started at the Viper room, how, how did you feel about that?
19:28No one on stage?
19:29Of course you had the smoke, the lights, it wasn't bad.
19:33It just wasn't the same though.
19:35You're, we actually can turn it on pretty good for nobody, which is a weird, but, uh,
19:42I mean, there's, there were a lot of, uh, shows where we played for literally nobody,
19:46you know, in the early days, you know, at bars on a Tuesday night in Santa Monica, there's
19:51nobody there.
19:52And, uh, so we get pretty good at faking it for a minute.
19:57Hey, yeah.
19:57Speaking of, uh, the covers, of course we mentioned, uh, the NAM show Gibson, you did a last child.
20:04You recorded that, uh, in Memphis, uh, the great hour Smith song, your heroes, Tom Hamilton
20:11tweeted out and gave the stamp of approval.
20:14It's got to make you feel so good.
20:16I see a couple, uh, songs in your set.
20:20You're not doing the whole song, but Zeppelin, a whole lot of love as well.
20:23Will we see any more covers maybe at our MMRBQ in your set?
20:27We haven't yet, but we are just starting that discussion of like, okay, are we going to throw
20:32one in?
20:32And, and there's been some interesting choices.
20:35Uh, I think, uh, Corey throughout, he wants to do Vivaldi's four seasons, the third, the
20:42third or four.
20:42He's looking at you like, what?
20:44Not true, but, uh, yeah.
20:47It's funny.
20:48We'll figure something out.
20:49What do we need, uh, on your rider at the MMRBQ, medical marijuana, uh, anything else?
20:55Justin would appreciate that.
20:57I'm sure I'm a big tequila guy.
20:59What do you want?
20:59Uh, Mezcal works also, I think maybe some Pinot Noir.
21:03Let's relax a bit.
21:04Let's mellow it out after we, we play your high roll, man.
21:08Speaking of, are we in a bus yet?
21:10I want to go to bed.
21:11What's that?
21:12Are we in a bus?
21:13I wish we were in a bus.
21:14Holy fuck.
21:15Hey, you never know, the MMRBQ is not till September, you know?
21:19Yeah, yeah, maybe, maybe, uh, no, by then we won't be in a bus.
21:23So no, no, I already know where we'll be.
21:26It won't be in a bus.
21:27Hey, you were here in Philadelphia on our Preston Steve show in the morning.
21:30I believe that was, uh, was it after, um, your show at Red Sun Rising or was it with
21:35Alter Bridge and Skillet?
21:37Yeah, it was out, it was the latter.
21:39Yeah.
21:40You know, you did it bright and early in the morning and I got to ask you, you know, your
21:44voice, I mean, God bless you.
21:47That's your instrument, part of your human body and no sleep.
21:51You know, another band that's bringing, keeping the role in the rock, Greta Van Fleet.
21:54And I say to myself, cause I was in a band, man, when I was your age, I don't know if
22:00I want to put vocals that high because when you get my age, you got to bring that.
22:05I don't know if you can still go up there, but I mean, how do you, uh, you know, warm
22:08up and take care of your vocals?
22:10You know, I, yeah, I do some exercises, warming up, um, been doing them all through the pandemic.
22:15And certainly now I was just actually showing him, we were talking about one of the songs.
22:21I was like, yeah, the song is really high.
22:22And he's like, well, let me hear what you've been doing, you know?
22:24Cause I practice every, every couple of days and he was like, yeah, it sounds fine.
22:28He just kind of convinced me to do it.
22:30He's only doing it.
22:30He's only singing once a week though.
22:32I'm trying to see if he can light a fire on his ass and get him to practice more.
22:36I do the, I do the exercises every day, but I sing like our show, like Steven Tyler sings
22:44in the shower, like Tom Kiefer sings into a towel.
22:47What, what's your method, Mark?
22:49I just go to whatever shitty stairwell is nearby at the venue.
22:54And I just do these warmups.
22:56I do.
22:57I do like the shower thing actually though.
22:59That's nice.
22:59There's a shower at a venue.
23:01Yeah.
23:01Steam feels great.
23:02I'll make sure no one's in the shower at our MMORBQ.
23:06You'll have it yourself before you get on.
23:08Hey, we have you.
23:09We'll just throw a couple ladies in there.
23:11That's fine too.
23:11Yeah.
23:12Okay.
23:12We're just some conditioner.
23:16So you're going to be, you're new to our MMORBQ and there's eight bands, like I said,
23:22and you are the last band during our general admission portion of the day.
23:27And that means anybody can buy a ticket anywhere.
23:30I mean, you could be all the way out there.
23:31We call it in Philadelphia, the 700 level seat section all the way to the top of the lawn,
23:35but you could come all the way down to the pit and you could sweat all over them guys.
23:40But you will be the last part of that portion of our day.
23:43And then a cheap trick comes on followed by the offspring and Jane's addiction.
23:47So I guess the lights will just about be going down.
23:51It's a great, great spot for you guys.
23:53And we are so, so happy to have you, man.
23:55Yeah.
23:55We're, we're happy to be doing it.
23:56And obviously you and Preston and Steve and everybody over there have been awesome to us.
24:01So we're, we're happy to do it, of course.
24:03And Philly has been a great rock and roll town for a long time.
24:06So we're looking forward to getting back there.
24:08I think that's going to be the first time we play there until then.
24:12So you haven't been in Camden, correct?
24:14You've, you've been at the Met, Philadelphia and, and I was at Asbury Park early on.
24:21Close spot.
24:23But yeah, that's about it.
24:24I think.
24:25Okay.
24:25Hey, I love how you interact with your fans.
24:28I also wanted to say, we follow you on all your social platforms.
24:31You do a great job.
24:32You Facebook with your fans.
24:34I mean, the license plates and putting out vinyl.
24:37Thank you so much.
24:38I love vinyl, love the pins you put out and Mark, I want to thank you personally.
24:45We have a quite a few, you know, listeners that love dirty honey.
24:48And of course I call you in the middle of the night, wake your ass up.
24:51I'm like, yo, can you call this girl up?
24:52She loves dirty.
24:53And you called her out of the blue, which that's unheard of.
24:57And still to this day, I get texts from that girl.
25:00Uh, I think her name was a dirty daughter in Wilmington, Delaware.
25:04And she's just, she was cooking dinner and you called her.
25:07It's amazing how you're so, you know, you take care of your fans.
25:12That's what it's about, man.
25:13I hope you never lose that.
25:15Yeah, I do too.
25:16And I think it's important.
25:17You know, we, we definitely played for a minute there where nobody cared and we're grateful
25:22that people do care now.
25:23And we're looking obviously to expand on that and, uh, you know, taking a minute to say
25:28thank you is certainly not a big deal, uh, from our end.
25:32So we're appreciative.
25:33So is there anything else you'd like to say to your, uh, fans and, uh, listeners here at
25:37WMMR before we see you September 25th at our MMRBQ?
25:41Yeah.
25:41And get your tickets to MMRBQ.
25:43It's going to be an awesome time.
25:44And, uh, while you're at it, if you're online, might as well order a dirty honey record,
25:50maybe a t-shirt or a hat or two.
25:52Get that plug in there.
25:53You gotta, you gotta be style.
25:55You gotta be styling when you get to the gig, you know?
25:58Hey guys, I want to thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to pretend to
26:01be my friend here at 93, three W.
26:04Pretending to be your friend is easy, man.
26:06You know, Mark LaBelle, Corey Coverstone, dirty honey.
26:10We will see them one of the grade eight at your 2021 MMRBQ guys.
26:14Peace out.
26:15Be safe.
26:15God bless you.
26:16And thank you for keeping the roll in the rock.
26:18Thanks, man.
