00:00Hi it's Kathy Romano from the Preston and Steve show here to give you another coronavirus activity.
00:08Today we have the Healing Bracelet Kit from Wim Jewelry. You can go to Wim Jewelry Shop.com to
00:16purchase one of them. They're $40. There's a cheaper one for kids that comes with less beads,
00:20but the adult one comes with enough beads to make two bracelets. It comes with accent beads,
00:25and they're real beads. These are real gemstones that are coming in this kit,
00:29and not the plastic beads that you would get at a craft store. It comes with elastic that is a higher
00:34grade quality, and it comes pre-knotted. I don't know if you can see it, it's pretty hard to see.
00:40The kit comes with instructions, so what you can do is lay the beads out. You can bead them at random
00:45if you'd like. I came up with a pattern, and so I laid that out prior to beading it onto the elastic.
00:51Once you're finished, you do a square knot. That took me a little while to learn, and I'm still
00:56learning, but you have to do this square knot so that it doesn't come undone, and then the beads
01:00pop off of your wrist. Make the bracelet fit perfectly around your wrist. You don't want to
01:04make it tighter or looser. The elastic has been pre-stretched, so once you do that, then you do the
01:10square knot that I had such a difficult time learning how to do. It might take you a few times. If you don't
01:15like what you've done, you can take the beads off, and you can re-bead them. You do it until you find
01:19something that you're going to like. Then once you do that square knot, you put a dab of crazy glue
01:25on there. You take one of the beads. You can slide it over the knot so it hides it, and then you've
01:30got a bracelet made. Again, like I said, the kit comes with enough beads to do two bracelets, so I'll
01:35be doing my second bracelet later with a glass of wine.
