00:00Well, I heard that you guys were at the game last night.
00:03We did.
00:04We attended game one of the NBA Finals.
00:06It was super exciting.
00:08Super exciting.
00:09Overtime.
00:10Yeah.
00:10What more do you want?
00:11There was lots of drama.
00:12A lot of drama, a lot of excitement, and we were there.
00:16That's right.
00:17And I also heard LeBron might be coming to the 76ers.
00:22Oh, I didn't hear that.
00:23Is that true?
00:23I don't know any of that kind of stuff.
00:24Well, maybe.
00:25I don't know.
00:26That's not my bailiwick.
00:28Is this hockey?
00:28Basketball, Ed.
00:31Cricket, silly.
00:33Well, I'm from Philadelphia with WOMR, and we actually talked about this story before a couple years ago.
00:41The whole game of tag, all the friends and everything, and it's pretty cool to see it be done in live action with you guys.
00:48How do you feel about it?
00:49It's pretty exciting.
00:50Love it.
00:51Yeah.
00:51It's a cool thing.
00:52We actually got to meet some of the guys, the real guys whom the story is based on.
00:57They came down to visit set, and we've met them on a couple other occasions.
01:00But I think, I don't want to speak for these guys too much, but I think when all of us read this story, we thought, this is a real thing.
01:07Like, this is so weird.
01:09But as I said before, it's also so charming and kind of adorable that these guys are this silly this late into their lives.
01:18And I think that's kind of a nice feeling to have going into a movie, especially when it seems like everything else is going to hell in a handbasket.
01:27It's kind of nice to remember that all you have to do is really just have fun in your life, and it gets better.
01:34I don't know if you guys know this too.
01:36We're doing, like, teacher contests and everything for Best Teacher, and a couple of people have called in.
01:40Even the movie's rated R.
01:42A lot of kids are seeing the trailer, and you're breathing new life into this old game.
01:47Like, kids are playing this game again when they stopped before.
01:50Yeah, teachers are calling in, talking about kids see the trailers, and they get excited, and you're inspiring a new generation to play this game.
01:58All right.
01:59Well, anything that gets kids off their iPads and phones and actually physically interacting with each other, I think is a good thing.
02:06I think so too.
02:07I hope we also get more adults playing tag around the office.
02:11Like, we're disrupting some board meetings and the office functions, because it is just silly.
02:20Fun?
02:21Yeah, regressive fun.
02:23Did you have, like, a favorite type of tag, like, manhunt, freeze tag, kind of go seek tag?
02:28We had all kinds of them.
02:29When I was growing up, all we did in the pre-internet era, pre-kind of screens everywhere era, was that's all you did was play.
02:36So you would make up games.
02:37You had freeze tag.
02:38Yeah, exactly.
02:39Kick the can.
02:40Kick the can.
02:41Every other thing.
02:42And it was just, there was just some.
02:43Sardines?
02:44Sardines, I remember that one, yeah.
02:45It's kind of a reverse hide and seek.
02:46It's a variation on hide and seek.
02:47It's a East Coast thing?
02:48No.
02:49It's a mid-blast for me, but, like, you would, if you found someone, you would get, you would hide with them.
02:54And so everybody would get, you know, one thing and the last person.
02:56The last person who doesn't find you is it.
02:59Or a passed out drug.
03:01Yeah.
03:02When you're nine.
03:03Yeah, exactly.
03:04You take much.
03:05But, yeah, no, we had, that was what the neighborhood kids all did, was just come up.
03:10With some game, you make up the rules as you go along.
03:12But it was, that's the fun part of it.
03:14Yeah.
03:15Did you, were you guys actually good at the game, or did you have to cheat sometimes while you're playing?
03:20Well, if you're not cheating, you're not trying.
03:21I think that's really the thing.
03:22I mean, how do you cheat at tag?
03:25I mean, you didn't say you didn't tag at tag.
03:28Yeah, you're like, you didn't get me.
03:30It wasn't me.
03:30Yeah.
03:31I guess, no, I'm a very honest person.
03:34I'm a very honest player.
03:36I can't cheat.
03:36I can't cheat.
03:37No, I don't cut corners.
03:38Yeah, just dominate.
03:39Yeah.
03:40Just dominate.
03:41Thank you so much for your time, guys.
03:43And it was really enjoyable to watch the movie.
03:45It was something that gave a lot of nostalgia to an age-old game.
03:48Excellent.
03:49Thanks a lot.
