00:00we're in the middle of an interesting second date update which is not really a second date it's it's

00:04the first date they have not hung out before ashley reached out to us there's a co-worker of

00:08hers that she has a crush on you know and she wants to ask him out and uh they don't really

00:14talk that much she wants us to call him to get them connected yes so we're gonna try to do this

00:21we have gotten a hold of david her crush we do have him on hold right now he doesn't know exactly

00:27why we want to talk to him but let's bring him on right now uh david you there uh yeah hey david

00:38coming on the show first and foremost nothing's wrong nothing bad going on here it's actually a

00:43good thing there's someone who thinks very highly of you and actually wants to uh spend some more

00:49time with you and it's a co-worker of yours wait what i'm sorry i'm i'm a little bit confused i

00:57would be too i totally get that um it's a girl named ashley that you work with i guess you guys

01:02have spoken to each other a few times at work but that's about it actually actually from work

01:08yeah you know what let's just do this we actually have ashley on the phone with us as well and i want

01:13to bring her on ashley you there i'm here i'm sorry this is just really uh i'm just a little

01:19confused why are we doing why is this happening on the radio um like i i know this is weird

01:27um but i i don't know i uh i kind of felt awkward doing it at work and i have your number but i didn't

01:37want to like just randomly text you um you felt awkward so you're putting me on blast on the radio

01:46yeah why didn't you just come talk to me at work i don't understand

01:51look i didn't want to like queer you like make you feel like like weird um weird and this isn't

01:58weird i think this is a little more weird than if you just came up to me at work and started talking

03:08just like isn't rule number one that you're just not supposed to date your co-workers oh um

03:14i don't know i just thought maybe it might be easier because i didn't have to do it face to face

03:20and i guess well first of all david are you a single guy yes i i am a single guy okay um

03:28have and you've talked to ashley a couple times at work apparently it has not been

03:32a very lengthy conversation maybe like a hello in passing or something but i don't we don't know

03:39okay but would you be willing to maybe get to know her a little bit oh i feel like i'm starting to

03:46learn a little bit about her just from this phone call are you guys going to be on the date if we go

03:50out no no we're not we were just trying to help her out she was just trying to do a grand gesture

03:56here of you know reaching out to you and and kind of doing something different i know is putting you

04:03on the spot a little bit but i mean what do you think like would you be down to do let's say maybe a

04:08lunch date i mean this is just so weird i i'm not a lunch date is fine i just don't ever want to be

04:18put in this situation again i i promise i i won't do anything like this again i'm sorry i would hope

04:25not yeah actually you could have just came up to me and talked to me you know in person and it would

04:32have been way less awkward and for some people that's really easy but for me it's not so much

04:44thing how we met or funny thing how we first hung out you know you can tell this story someday but
