00:01This is always a wonderful event for us because it's really something that helps
00:05our community as a local radio station with JRZ that's been on the air for
00:09nearly 50 years. To be able to be a part of this year after year is truly an
00:15honor. It's a great thing when you have an opportunity to build what I call
00:18workforce housing because that's what this is. It's providing housing that's
00:22going to go out into the workforce that people can afford to buy and live in in
00:26our community and we're just thrilled to continue our partnership. Today we
00:30gather not just as volunteers but as the architects of hope, the builders of dreams
00:34and the stewards of change. We stand here on a foundation of shared values,
00:40unwavering commitment and a common vision to build a world where everybody has a
00:44decent place to call home. I like to talk about our mission and it's really because
00:49of the people that are listed on this board today. Our mission is bringing
00:53people together to build homes, communities and hope and without bringing
00:58together the community, the business community, the volunteer community, we
01:03wouldn't be able to do what we do to build homes for families in need. As we
01:07all know affordable housing is really out of reach. There's so many people in our
01:12community so without everybody coming here together today we wouldn't be able to
01:16accomplish this. I just want to thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for
01:19being out here and supporting us.
01:21Just knowing that my kids are gonna have a stable home and a safe place to lay
01:24their head means more than words can describe. I went to three middle schools,
01:28four high schools and a bunch of different elementary schools because we
01:31were always trying to find a place to live and to know that they won't have
01:34that same struggle makes me the happiest I could be. From the bottom of my
01:37heart and for my family and I, thank you and we love you all.
01:40From all of us at 100.1 WJRZ, on behalf of Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity, thank you so much for being a part of this great event, let's get the hammers to the nails, let's make it happen for Isaiah and his family. Let's go!
01:58Thank you for Isaiah's family, everybody. Let's go!
