WDHA's Rock N' Ruff - "Missy"

00:00Hi, it's DHA's Rock and Rough, and I am Terri Carr. I am here with my good friend Sonny

00:07Knoll from the Randolph Regional Animal Shelter. We have to get a close-up of Missy. Look at sweet,

00:13beautiful Missy. She thinks I have a cookie. She's very sweet. She takes things very gently, too.

00:17She is absolutely stunning. Stunning, stunning. Sonny, tell me a little bit about Missy. So,

00:24Missy was surrendered to a high-volume shelter where, you know, we took her in because they were

00:30pressed for space and her owner could no longer care for her. She's only nine months old. She is a

00:37Shepherd Husky mix. You can see her beautiful blue eyes and she's very smart. She's already learned

00:44some basic commands and obedience. She's housebroken. She's great with other dogs. She's scared of cats

00:51and loves all people. So, she's a great dog. She's going to make somebody a great pet.

00:57And she's so unique looking. I mean, look at this gorgeous dog. We don't think she's going to get

01:02too much bigger than she is. Probably fill out a little bit. She did come into the shelter with a

01:08sibling. Yes. A canine sibling. Looked just like her, who has been adopted. So, Missy's probably a

01:15little lonely and she's young, but not too, too young, which is great. She's still a pup, but you said,

01:20housebroken and would love to go on long walks and definitely I'm sure with that Shepherd in her

01:25probably has a little bit of a busy bee. So, an active person would be just great. Let's check

01:30out Missy hanging out at the WDHA studios on DHA's Rock and Rough. Meet Missy from the Randolph Regional

01:37Animal Shelter. Missy is an absolutely stunning dog. She's a Shepherd Husky mix, super smart, very active,

01:45but she settles down really nicely. Missy's also housebroken, dog friendly, and loves everyone she

01:52meets. She's just gorgeous. Missy came into the shelter with two siblings. One has been adopted

01:57already. So, Missy and her brother Dante are actually looking for forever homes. Missy also

02:03loves a good belly rub and loves to play with toys. She would make a perfect companion as she's so smart

02:09and eager to please for just about any family. She's between seven and nine months old and is just

02:15a great dog. Looking for a unique looking new best friend? Missy could be the dog for you. Hit up the

02:21Randolph Regional Animal Shelter for information on how to adopt or foster to adopt. And just look at

02:26her face. Adopt Missy. Isn't she gorgeous? I just love her and she's very eager to please. You give

02:33her a treat. She totally engages with you. And you know what? I misspoke. Yes, she has siblings, but

02:39there is another one that looks like Missy at the shelter. One has been adopted, but Sunny, I did not

02:44know that there were three. You said, is it Dante that's there? Dante, yep. And he is a spinning image

02:49of her. Same beautiful brindle coat with the gorgeous blue eyes. And he's just as sweet as her. Yeah, and

02:55she's just a beautiful dog. Really gorgeous. Super soft. Very eager to please. Wants to learn. And I

03:03know that there are Shepherd people out there that just love everything about the Shepherd

03:08breed. Their loyalty, their intelligence, and she's kind of got the best of everything. And

03:13she's so relaxed here. She's actually taking a little cat nap. Don't tell her though because
