00:09our new WDHA series focusing on everything about your pet.
00:14And it's powered by our good friends at Longevity Veterinary Center,
00:17a brand-new facility that is open on Route 10 on the eastbound side in Whippany, New Jersey.
00:23I was here for the grand opening celebration, and let me tell you something.
00:26I was blown away. Traditional veterinary medicine and also holistic veterinary medicine,
00:32which is absolutely incredible. The facilities are beautiful.
00:36Let's go in and take a look around, shall we? Come on.
00:40So when you come into Longevity, you just walk through the beautiful doors,
00:43and here is the area where you can check in.
00:46It's very peaceful, very quiet, very tranquil and serene,
00:49because we know that our pets can get a little amped up when coming to the vet.
00:52And if you notice something, you ready? No ringing phones.
00:57They have a separate area for answering phone calls, talking about the facility, making appointments,
01:03which is really, really nice, because you can focus on coming in, coming up, getting your appointment done,
01:08and having your pets have the best possible pet experience.
01:12The facility is huge, over 15,000 square feet.
01:17Let's take a walk down, and this is the main area where many of the exam rooms are.
01:24As you can see, they're quiet when they're in use.
01:27The doctors have their name turned, so you know when the exam rooms are in use.
01:34And it's really such an amazing space.
01:41There's more.
01:42They have an amazing group of vet techs here, too.
01:52Vet techs really make everything move and everything turn.
01:56They're here for our pets all the time, so let's go check out some of the vet techs working

02:09Hi, I am here with the beautiful Stephanie, and Stephanie's co-worker, this is Chris.
02:15Now, Stephanie and Chris, talk to me a little bit about being a vet tech at Longevity.
02:19First of all, I don't know how you don't get lost in here.
02:22It is just absolutely amazing.
02:24Have you been here since the grand opening?
02:26Yes, I've been here.
02:27We actually have been working here since it's opened,
02:30and I've also worked at the other facility in Little Falls.
02:33Very nice, very nice.
02:34So have you been with Dr. B for a while?
02:37Eight years.
02:38Eight years with Dr. B. Now, I am on the hunt for Dr. B, who's sort of the brainchild behind this amazing operation.
02:45What has it been like to come into this incredible new facility and plant your roots and get your feet wet
02:53and start with this amazing new community of people?
02:56So honestly, it's been a long eight years.
03:01I've always told everyone in the eight years that Little Falls, it was just myself, it was Dr. B, and one receptionist.
03:07And watching the growth and experience the growth for everyone has been a really experience,
03:13just because coming here and seeing where we started, something very small to something really big.
03:18And trying to bring and spread out all the holistic and conventional medicine that we do here.
03:23Yeah, I love that.
03:24Traditional medicine, holistic medicine, everything is really about the pets.
03:28Making them comfortable, making them not have a lot of anxiety.
03:31I don't know about all of you, but when my dogs come to the vet, it's like, ha, ha, ha, ha.
03:37And I notice that so much of that is not here.
03:40Rosie will be with me on my next video visit to get her exam, so you can check that out for yourself.
03:46But it's just such a great area, and it's such a great space.
03:49As I said, there are no ringing phones out front.
03:51It's very tranquil and very quiet, and I think it's all done by design.

03:56Yes, definitely.
03:57And as you can see over there, we have our whiteboards, and we keep on track of all of the patients coming in.
04:03So we're on top of that, and the moment they come in, we don't like for them to wait outside for a long time.
04:08So once we see that, we get them right away.
04:11Yeah, it really, as soon as I came in, it reminded me of a hospital.
04:15It is a hospital, and you feel that sense of a hospital, yet still a great, amazing sense of community.
