00:00Well, Alexa sounds really bummed out, which is obviously not cool.

00:03She has not heard back from Kurt since their date.

00:06They went to Sparkman Wharf.

00:07Yeah, she actually kind of described the perfect date.

00:11She's like, he bought dinner, she bought some drinks.

00:13They were both talking about going out and coming up with ideas to do on a second date.

00:18So it makes me think that something had to happen after the date was over,

00:22because it sounded like the first one was perfect.

00:23All right, so we have Kurt on hold with us.

00:26We want to bring him on the phone.

00:28Kurt, you there?

00:30Yeah.

00:30Hey, Kurt, we appreciate you coming on with us, man.

00:33We know you talked to Kevin off the air for a little bit.

00:35I think he gave you kind of a snapshot of what we're doing here,

00:37but we want to talk to you about a date you went on.

00:39This is our second date update, and we talk to people every day about dates they go on,

00:43and there's a particular date that you went on with a girl named Alexis

00:47that we wanted to ask you about.

00:48I mean, would you have a couple minutes?

00:51Yeah.

00:52All right, so we heard you guys met online.

00:55You guys went to Sparkman Wharf.

00:56We were talking about this, is that she described, like,

00:59it sounded like a really fun, perfect date for the both of you.

01:03I guess you guys even talked about hanging out again.

01:06But since that date, there's been no more talk of hanging out again and no talk at all,

01:12and she's just trying to figure out what's going on.

01:14And we were hoping you would fill us in on this.

01:16Yeah, well, I mean, first off, gosh, listen, she was a great girl.

01:24She was super pretty, and I did have, like, a great time on the date, right?

01:30But at the end, just before we're getting ready to leave, go our separate ways and everything like that,

01:36I guess, you know, she'd had a couple of drinks, and she just kind of offhandedly was like,

01:39yeah, no, I have to get home.

01:41I've got to sit her with the kids.

01:42And my mind immediately went, wait, what?

01:46Oh, did you not know she had kids?

01:48No.

01:49No.

01:50She, you know, like, that's the thing with online dating is that, you know,

01:54everybody kind of leaves some stuff out of their profile and stuff like that,

01:57and she didn't say anything about it.

01:59And she didn't say kid.

02:01She said kids, right?

02:03Is that something you care about?

02:05Do you care if she has kids?

02:07I don't mind kids, but I found out when I started asking about it, she has three kids

02:13by three different men, which that threw up an immediate red flag for me.

02:20I was like, no, uh-uh, no.

02:22So has she been married before then?

02:25Actually, that came up.

02:26She has never been married before.

02:28Okay.

02:28So I'm thinking to myself, okay, you've got three kids by three different guys.

02:32Can't keep a man.

02:34None of them have ever married you.

02:35Anything like that, like, that's a pretty clear red flag.

02:39She is the common denominator for all of that stuff, right?

02:44So, like, what kind of woman is she that she's, you know, been, you know,

02:50she's had three kids with three different guys, and she doesn't mention it up front, right?

02:56Like, she didn't put anything about that, you know, anything like that,

02:58her profile or anything.

02:59So, I mean, she didn't forget she had kids when she made her online dating profile.

03:04So, clearly, she's trying to, like, slide something in.

03:08And that just, that was a huge red flag for me.

03:10I was just, like, not a thing.

03:11Did you guys have a great date up until the point that you found out about that information?

03:16It sounds like you guys are on your way to having a second date, though.

03:21Well, yeah, but I'm sure she had great dates with those three other guys up until the point

03:25where she had kids with them, and they broke up, and she went on to do that with another guy.

03:30So, you're just like, nope, once you heard that, you're done.

03:34Yeah, I was out.

03:40And I want to bring her back on because I want to get her side of things.

03:43I don't want to pass any judgment here.

03:52Here's the thing.

03:53Yes, I have three kids, three different dads.

03:56That is my past, and the fact that he's holding that against me never mentioned anything.

04:01I mean, I'm making assumptions that, like, oh, what did she do to get rid of them?

04:05Like, the reason I don't put it on my profile is because people make assumptions without asking

04:10the situation.

04:11Yes, I went in, had relationships, had kids.

04:16They didn't work out.

04:17It's better than staying with someone that I'm not happy with.

04:20I don't regret, you know, having my children.

04:23And so the fact that someone would just make these assumptions about me and not even ask

04:27me about it and just ghost me, like, that's not fair.

04:32Like, I don't understand what assumptions you're worried about people making.

04:35Like, the assumption is that you're with me.

04:39Guys, none of the relationships, doubt.

04:41You had kids with all of them.

04:43Like, that's upfront information.

04:46You're the common denominator.

04:47Like, what's the commitment issue?

04:49Look, not everyone has the best judgment.

04:51There are a lot of bad men out there.

04:53And maybe I did not make the best decisions in relationships.

04:56But had I told you that at the beginning of the date, we wouldn't have had an amazing

05:00date because you would have prejudged me.

05:01And we had a great time and a great connection.

05:04And I had hoped that when you found this out, you would be like, oh, you know, we had a really

05:07great connection.

05:08So let me just see what's really going on as opposed to making the assumptions that you

05:13made.

05:15Are all these guys still in your life?

05:18Like, are they a part of your kids' lives?

05:19Absolutely.

05:20Okay.

05:20I'm a great mom.

05:22I have great relationships with their fathers.

05:25It did not work out.

05:26Like, I'm not like this evil person that just manipulates men to have a child.

05:31Like, I don't understand what is happening.

05:34I mean, Kurt, you said up to that point you did have a good time on the date with her.

05:47Up to that point, I had a good date with her because she was wanting to me through the

05:54If I told you that at the beginning of the date, I guarantee you would have found a way
