01:37it's a two-man approach oh that's what's up talk about that he's stunning on us real quick he's
01:42stunning on us with the the parent paris fashion week i see what you're doing right right
01:46so uh nick um you have a superstar search uh tour that you're doing right now right tell us about
01:57can you tell us a little bit about that i'm glad we're talking about it because it's great to break
02:01it down it's actually not we're not searching for nothing it's pretty much that same vibe of like
02:06we bring in the future superstars to every community it's almost on some old school like
02:12i'm taking a page out of barry gordy's book uh with motown to where he would put marvin gay stevie
02:17wonder the supremes the temptations all on a bus and send them all over the country to connect with
02:23the people in a real way and and that that's exactly what we're doing with the future superstar tour
02:29we take like obviously golden's already a superstar i mean simba's already a superstar to cast a while
02:35we're bringing all those people to the community to connect directly and then obviously while i'm
02:41there i have been known to be a talent finder and a curator i'm always looking but this whole purpose
02:47of this tour is kind of bringing that same energy of like 106 and park and the scream tour and we're
02:52bringing that to a local level to show who's gonna be the biggest stars of 2023 and we got them with us
02:58bringing uh 24k golden i mean that's even why he's here to even show like the level of you know star power
03:04that we're coming it's just like any other concert i always tell people you know the people that you're
03:08gonna see at the future superstar tour is gonna be the same uh people that are gonna be headlining
03:14all of the festivals and the rolling louds and stuff the the following year it's like so this gives the
03:19community the opportunity to connect with uh virgin stars uh and we got you know it's a bt show that
03:26we're filming the whole time vibe magazine is uh also coming with this so it's just that energy of
03:31like where it's like a music convention coming to you to the community and to the city instead of
03:35you having to go to la or all the way out to the revolt conference we're bringing it to the community
03:41uh directly see nick what i love about you and i always like to put things into denominators i see
03:46you always trying to uplift other people and i'm glad you took that page out of barry gordy's book
03:52because that's important for our future stars why is this important for you because you're already a
03:58superstar you know you don't have to reach back and help and shine spotlights on other why
04:03yeah i think it's really about that each one teach one there's so many people they meet
04:08opportunities and looked out for me early on my career and i don't have platforms that can do that
04:16it's really what it's all it's just like it's how we feed our our our communities i mean these are
04:24old african philosophies if you want to take it there to where we could grow our tribe and
04:29that generational wealth and it's not just about money it's also about passing on the knowledge and
04:34all of those things so i i believe it gives us that opportunity to once you know and it's a
04:42biblical proverb as well we're blessed so we could be a blessing so i'm taking all that i have and
04:46hopefully like i've done everything i ever wanted to do in my career now all i can do is help others do the
04:51same 24k when he brought this to your attention what was your first uh thought was your first
04:56like mindset of him taking you on a tour like this we back outside i mean in in all seriousness you
05:06know i i think that it's a really beautiful thing that uh that we're doing with this tour where
05:11we get to uplift and shine a spotlight on rising talent um such as myself but also provide um
05:19provide value to to the communities of the people that we're going to you know this is a place where
05:25somebody can where i know if i was 16 and this came to my city i would be there from the start of the day
05:32to finish and get all that game in the morning meet the people that i needed to meet the radio program
05:37directors the magazine editors that's going to educate me but then also to be able to see um a wide
05:44variety of talent kind of that is a little more um a little more seasoned do their thing that's the
05:51inspiration on top of it so it's like a full package experience oh when is the last time either you were
05:57in detroit oh last time i was in the team i ain't like neither one of them
06:02it's been like a year yeah it's not been that long because my girl every time yeah probably like a
06:09yeah like three months ago i was out there okay dope dope that's what's up that's what's up
06:14my girl she's from the bougie side of detroit but i'm telling you every time she had nick cannon
06:19coming to the d that's where she gonna be yeah that fact well we all you know even the wild and
06:25out tour we always come to that was uh i was there we we sold it out so even we we gonna bring it back
06:32next summer too so you know detroit always shows love on wild and out but this is even like the
06:37precursor to that so i like that at least you know every quarter pull up to the d at least at least once
06:43so hey next time you and the d you need to get in studio with us the zoom stuff i need to feel you
06:48face to face yeah both of y'all yeah but honestly that's even what this is all about but you know
06:55other than just even doing the interviews we want to come in and touch the people touch the city come
07:00in studio so you know we own the way so just just let's let's set it up and you know when we're here
07:05for uh the future superstar we want y'all to be a part of the seminar too we want y'all to come
07:10and connect so we definitely want to come in studio and we want y'all to make sure you you present at
07:15the show last thing i just want to ask 24k real quick um what can we expect from you because a
07:20lot of people um may not be hip to your music or may not be hip to you as an artist so what can we
07:24expect when you hit that stage man yeah you know one thing i'm really excited about on this tour is to
07:30show people that there's not just one way to be as a black artist and there's not just one type of
07:36music that you can make yeah i make rap songs but i also make pop songs and i also make
07:41more rock influenced songs and i just feel like i'm excited to show to show all the kids out there
07:47watching that you don't got to do what everybody else is doing to be successful you can really
07:51do what resonates what's true to you and um that's that's my motto so it worked for me shit
