00:05So it's one of my favorite segments because we always hear the dating in the Carolinas is so bad.

00:10So we want to help you, but you go on a couple of dates.

00:15You think maybe something's a red flag.

00:21And we decide whether you date him again or her or you move on to the next guy.

00:32But we have Holly on the phone and also Luke, who went out with Holly on a couple of dates.

00:40But we'll go to Holly first.

00:46Okay, so you like Luke.

00:47You've been out with him a couple times.

00:50What's the issue?

00:53Yeah, and I've been listening to this segment.

00:55I just never knew I would be on it.

00:57We hear a lot of people say that.

00:59Oh, my goodness.

01:00Well, so he has this older sister, which I found out about, you know, before we even went on the first date.

01:09Like, I'd already heard about her.

01:10And we've been on, I think, like, yeah, three dates now.

01:13And he's just so close to her that it's, like, weird.

01:17Like, on all of the dates, he's FaceTimed with her.

01:23While on the date with you, he FaceTimed her?

01:27Yeah.

01:27Like, when you went to the bathroom?

01:29Well, he wasn't the one that, I don't know.

01:32Yeah, one of the times I was in the bathroom.

01:33So I don't know if he called her.

01:35He just picked up.

01:36But, like, to even answer on a date, like, and, yeah, I just, he referred to her, like, I don't know, a dozen times.

01:46Holly, are you part of the conversation when sister FaceTimes in?

01:50Or is it, like, Luke's like, I got to take this.

01:54And he's just having a one-sided conversation.

01:57Or is he, like.

01:57Oh, no, he shares everything.

02:06But maybe they're just really close.

02:09Well, yeah, but I just feel like it's one of those, like, oh, am I ever going to be even, like, in the number one?

02:22No, I think that's a legit feeling.

02:25Yeah, I mean, Holly, I've been married to my wife, Amanda, 11 years now.

02:29And when I first met her, she had a solid circle.

02:32And it was a joke.

02:33Like, will Maney ever get in her circle?

02:35And, you know, her circle has since dwindled, by the way, to, like, three of us now from six.

02:39But that's a legit fear.

02:41Okay, but follow me down this road.

02:43Because I'm interested to talk to Luke.

02:45Because maybe the fact that he is so close to his sister.

02:50And he is now including his sister in some way to your date.

02:55Maybe he wants you two to be best friends so that there is no back and forth between the number one or number two spot.

03:06And, like, it's just.

03:12Luke's saying, like, Luke's almost telling Holly that he needs to.

04:03I cherish our relationship together.

04:06Okay, so there's nothing deeper to this than you two just being super close and you can't

04:11going two hours on a date without speaking to her?

04:14No, I mean, is she just, you know, we just, like, there was something funny we were talking

04:18about at dinner.

04:19I decided to call Leia and tell her.

04:21It was a funny joke that I thought she would find funny.

04:23So, listen, it's not like I've heard, I haven't heard this before.

04:27I've definitely heard from other girls that I've gone out with.

04:30Like, why do you have such a close relationship with your sister?

04:33We just, we've gone through life together.

04:35There's not, there's not much, there's not much to it.

04:39I mean, she's a good person and she looks out for me.

04:41So, it's one of those things.

04:59We got a text message from someone who said that on the first date, totally unacceptable,

05:05Holly, uh, you want to take some calls because everybody texting in seems to think you should

05:11That is just too bizarre.

05:13And they also bring up a good point, Holly and Luke, that it won't stop here.

05:18He'll need, uh, lay his approval on what kind of car to buy for you guys.

05:24What kind of furniture to put in the house?

05:25If you guys get married, where you should go to get engaged.

05:29I will say that is really annoying to have to like get the approval of somebody else for

05:33everything.

05:34I I've told you guys the story, but my sister-in-law came into my house and like rearranged my furniture

05:38a couple of times.

05:39And I was like, whoa, too much boundaries.

05:41Hey, Tammy and Indian Trail, real quick.

05:43You're on with, uh, Luke and Holly.

05:46What'd you want to say?

05:47Hi, I just wanted to say that it's the relationship's not going to work out.

05:52Um, he and his sister are codependent on each other.

05:57And in order to, to rid that, there's definitely some serious therapy that needs to happen.
