00:00The Commission on Election, Sir Komalek, has issued a show-cost order to candidates who campaigned during Holy Thursday and Good Friday.

00:08Komalek Chair George Irwin Garcia stated that they found four candidates, three running for local positions,

00:14and one partless candidate who posted on social media not just greetings, but also messages encouraging people to vote for them.

00:22The poll body clarified that the issue was with timing, as campaigning on Holy Thursday and Good Friday was inappropriate,

00:30though it would have been acceptable on Holy Saturday or Easter Sunday.

00:34The candidates are not immediately facing disqualification, but must first respond to the show-cost orders before any cases are filed.
