00:00So Nick let's start with the clear situation that is dominating MLS just like they are on the field

00:08Nick Vancouver we spoke about Vancouver at the beginning of the season we said this team

00:12is dangerous this team has been building for many years uh but I was not expecting not only that

00:19their best player is not in the lineup no and and right now look I know it's early in the season as

00:26a Galaxy fan I'm really happy it's early in the season but look for the Whitecaps I mean I'm

00:31seeing them right now as very clear contenders to make it all the way and walk away with the cup I

00:35mean leading the league as you said 19 points in eight matches highest goal tally solid defense

00:42or solid up front solid in the middle solid in the back impressive run um and look it's not just in

00:47the MLS right they've been they've been holding their own against some Liga Neki's teams too in

00:52the CONCACAF champions cup so they are looking absolutely amazing they're a blast to watch

00:57didn't mean to rub it in your face but it's the harsh reality I want to as again as an LA Galaxy

01:02fan I gotta pull people down with me the reality Vancouver trash pumas they had it they let it go

01:10but you know at least they lost to one of the top teams Vancouver has not an easy scale ahead of them

01:16they have Miami which I feel they will humble and they will eliminate from the CONCACAF champions

01:22and just like last weekend they obliterated Austin Nick how can you not believe that this team will

01:28take it all they went to to you know Austin is not a bad team Austin had received you know very few

01:34goals each game this season and they got five uh Ryan will come back this will be a very dangerous team

01:40now let's talk about some other teams um Galaxy Galaxy continues without a win they were able to

01:47get a point out of the game this weekend Nick uh what's happening why are they not being able to get

01:54the three points yeah speaking of three there's just three issues right now and that's our attacking

01:59our midfield and defense but other than that things aren't so bad no really I mean look it's the same

02:05old story we're still reeling from serious injuries Puig ACL injury hopefully he'll come back at

02:10some point maybe if we make it to the playoffs should be out for the rest of the season Paintsill

02:14coming back but you know that was our offensive threat in lieu of a Dan Jović which we lost in

02:20the offseason his replacement Christian Ramirez hasn't exactly been stepping up to fill those

02:26shoes they were big shoes to fill but again it's early in the season we'll have to see what happens

02:30of course we're porous in the back as well so I mean look it's it's still early on there are some

02:36reasons for optimism Paintsill is getting back Rouse gradually returning to training as well

02:43so it's a story unfortunately of really bad injuries losing key players and just not really

02:51finding a rhythm I mean the pressure is just going to continue to build they're at the bottom of the

02:55table dead last place not a single way on the board so I mean there's kind of pressure to change

03:01that but also there's not much pressure going into these games because you know they're at the bottom

03:05so I mean we have to we kind of have to wait and see but it is early on and you know the way that

03:10things are structured in the MLS might say it's like it really really starts to matter towards the

03:15end there is time and and I'm hopeful that something's going to change once we get some

03:19of those key players who made such a difference last year for us and allowed us to hold that cup up
