00:06the playoffs are gonna be played on Wednesdays

00:08to try to kind of mimic this Champions League calendar

00:12where teams are playing their domestic leagues

00:14on the weekend and their international games

00:17on the midweek.

00:18What I'd like to share is that for this year,

00:21we are not going to stop the domestic leagues for a month

00:25to play this kind of makeshift tournament.

00:28I think that was a disservice to the local leagues.

00:31People lost momentum.

00:33The players lost, you know, also momentum

00:35because the travel was brutal.

00:37I think these are positive changes.

00:39This might be what this marriage

00:43between MLS and Liga MX is that it's providing a lot

00:48so many players have been going from MLS to Liga MX.

01:25LAFC got him for $1 million.

01:27They sold him for 8.5.

01:28I think that's the number.

01:31LAFC's happy, Cruz Azul is happy.

01:33Liga MX teams are doing that

01:35because there's a lot of players from MLS

01:37now going to Liga MX, which is crazy.

01:40But at the same time, it's understandable

01:42because like you and I were talking off-camera,

01:44there's, sometimes Liga MX is gonna spend

01:48five, six, $7 million on a player from South America

01:52that they don't even know he's gonna be any good.
