00:17Well, we got Janessa on the phone today for First Responder Friday.

00:21Good morning, Janessa. How you doing?

00:23I'm good. How are you guys?

00:24We are great. We're so glad you reached out to us.

00:27Tell us about your boyfriend, Brent.

00:28Right. So he is from, you know, the Tampa area.

00:33He's a firefighter with Tampa Fire, and he's been doing it for, I think, almost five years now.

00:39So I just wanted to reach out to you guys because, you know, he loves what he does.

00:42He's always picking up overtime shifts and working really hard.

00:45And were you dating Brent before he decided to be a firefighter?

00:48No, actually, we've known each other for years, just like from back in the day in high school.

00:53And we've been friends, but we just started dating this past year.

00:56But he's been doing this for a while now.

00:58Now, if you think about Brent back in high school, did you see any signs or do you think now, like,

01:03oh, I could have totally called it that he was going to become a firefighter?

01:07I don't think so.

01:08I mean, I don't know.

01:09I think it was something he just decided to go for, and he really has loved it, you know, his whole career.

01:14Well, now that you know him better, what do you think makes him a great firefighter?

01:18I think he's just really passionate about what he does.

01:20The other day, I think one of the best ones was he's an animal lover, and he got to save a dog,

01:25and he just came home so excited.

01:27Aw.

01:27I love that.

01:28Aw, that is...

01:29That just made Brent Lana's favorite person in the world.

01:32If there's a dog involved and someone saved, that is Lana's favorite.

01:35He would have kept it if he could have.

01:37Yeah.

01:38And what kind of things do you and Brent like to do when he's not working at the fire department

01:42here in Tampa?

01:44So, we enjoy, you know, country music, obviously.

01:47That's why I listen to your station.

01:48We're going to Tortuga this weekend.

01:49We like to travel and go to the beach.

01:51Very nice.

01:52That'll be a fun weekend.

01:54Yeah, I love that.

01:55It's like everything mixed into one.

01:56We like going to the beach.

01:57We like country music.

01:58Why not Tortuga?

01:59Exactly.
