Dave & Chuck the Freak talk about a man who was being recorded while swimming in the ocean near a shark and how humans are the only animals that put themselves in harms way for thrills.

00:00There was a couple enjoying the view from their Florida vacation condo, and they captured video of an oblivious swimmer being circled by a shark.

00:14Oh my. The ocean.

00:16Stan Battles said he was on the 28th floor balcony of a vacation condo in Panama City Beach when he noticed a shark.

00:24So there's the guy swimming.

00:25I can't even.

00:26You can't see the guy.

00:28I can see the guy swimming.

00:30I can't see the shark.

00:31The shark hasn't come into the.

00:34It's remember, they're 28 floors up filming.

00:38There's the shark that's coming in.

00:42And then the shark decides to get a little closer to the swimmer.

00:49I guess someone eventually notices the shark.

00:55Bolt it and just stop right there and look at each other.

00:58So you can hear, I think, people down on the beach now are trying to scream to the swimmer.

01:06They're trying to let him know there's a shark.

01:08I'm laying on my back just swimming.

01:10Yeah, this guy's just floating on his back.

01:11Oh, no one else out there.

01:12His ears are underwater.

01:13And the shark is coming.

01:58No, I know that attacks aren't up or anything, but sharks are coming into areas more

02:38Shark looked at me as it swolled my foot.

02:40And I always think like, okay, so you keep being that's one in 12 million, and it's like,

03:01And maybe I'll go on a little, you know, do a little boogie boarding with my kids next

03:20about that, that humans are the only animals that intentionally do things that can kill

03:28them for the joy of it, for the excitement of it.

05:03behind meanwhile i'm flying above hawaii in a doorless helicopter and the guy two minutes

05:36no it is when you think about it it is ridiculous we're we're so stupid yeah i don't even like

05:48i get it and honestly the first thing that's even made me want to do anything

05:53lately is that star wars land oh yeah yeah it's the first time i've wanted to pack a bag

06:00go on a little trip for old green beans yeah to a big space time to travel

06:09i'm gonna see the universe is what i'm gonna see

06:13back it up i'm going to the disney version of space

06:20but you'll generally be pretty safe you'll never catch me at machu pichu but you will find me at

06:24disney world star wars land trying to fly a millennium falcon that's safe i'm gonna climb

06:29into a volcano tonight at the rainforest cafe no no real volcano like a real awesome spewing out

06:39poisonous gas and also hot magma the aliens are like watch this one he's gonna he's going he's

06:45getting in that thing it's a volcano oh my god how often should we set it off look at this guy

06:51boiled himself in old faithful he jumped right in he was swimming in it just boats oh my god so

06:59weird listen we can't kill these guys they're too funny they're hilarious yeah no we're so dumb we do
