00:00So it's no secret that when we shoot these videos here at Motor City Harley-Davidson,

00:08we have to do it around the animals. You've got Donnie, you've got Zeus. What's the deal with the

00:12dogs? Well, my wife had a pit bull rescue for several years, rescued almost a thousand dogs,

00:18and they're byproducts of what we kept out of that rescue. Donnie was rescued when he was about

00:25four months old. All the dogs came from kill shelters, so he was due to be put down at 8 a.m.

00:31My wife got there at 7.30 and thus now we have Donnie. Zeus came from the same shelter. She

00:37blames me a lot for the amount of dogs that we have because we'd bring them home and instead

00:41of adopting them out, we would end up with them. But Donnie's become an icon at the shop,

00:46especially Zeus comes in sometimes as well, to a point to where he's got his own t-shirt now. The

00:52amount of people that come in and ask to see Donnie far outweigh the amount of people that

00:56come in and ask to see me. Next time they come in, I've got to remember to bring some

01:01dog treats or something for Donnie. Well, listen, that's part of the problem we're

01:04having right now. Don't feed him, please, when you come in here because we just now got the

01:09weight back off of him. He gained 10 pounds in a period of time and the vet pretty much

01:16scolded me and said he's getting a little chunky. We've got to put him on a diet. But he is

01:20one of a kind, loves everybody. He has kind of an intimidating exterior, but he is a big

01:28baby. Loves animals, loves people, especially loves kids.
