00:00The European Union has secured two-thirds of the funding needed to send two million artillery shells to Ukraine,

00:09Vice President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas said on Monday.

00:14She urged countries to increase their military support as the United States is pulling back.

00:20Speaking after a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg,

00:24Kallas commented on when the shipment should be delivered to Ukraine.

00:28As soon as possible is the short answer because they need it now.

00:33I mean, because these attacks are going through, there are civilian casualties in great numbers.

00:45Around 5 billion euros will be needed to reach the goal by the end of the year.
