00:11an occult into Jerusalem while the crowds waved palm branches shouting, Hosanna! Blessed is he who
00:18comes in the name of the Lord. Blessed is the King of Israel. This festive occasion demonstrated that
00:24the long-awaited Messiah the Jewish people had been waiting for was finally here. This saviour
00:31king didn't ride triumphantly on a mighty war horse to conquer through military might. He rode
00:37on a humble colt as an obedient servant of peace. He came not to overthrow the Roman empire but to
00:45conquer sin and death through his sacrifice on the cross. Jesus willingly advanced forward like a king
00:53marching into danger in front of his soldiers to fight the battle for them. His death would bring
00:59an end to the war of wars, the war between us and God. Today is a reminder that the spiritual war is won
01:07through the humble obedience of a God-king serving to bring his people the ultimate peace through his
01:14victorious death.
