00:24of humility than we find in the person of jesus christ it is stunning to read in the bible in the
00:31book of philippians 2 that god humbled himself and found in human form that is in the historic
00:38person of jesus he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death even death on a
00:45cross the ways of god often seem upside down in their nature and totally different to our world's
00:52understanding of power and significance jesus the king of the heavens and the earth who can heal
00:59every disease and sickness and raise the dead chooses instead the path of humility that will
01:05ultimately lead to his death on a cross on friday for the sake of others he did this so that he would
01:13ultimately have the final word and authority over death and darkness and this is what we celebrate
01:20on easter sunday and he invites us to choose humility it is a posture that simply acknowledges i am not god
01:29he is god the creator of the universe and i am not
