00:27How far would you go for love?
00:34John 3.16 says God so loved the world that he sent his one and only son
00:40that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
00:49The extent of God's love was demonstrated in him stepping down from the heights of heaven
00:56and entering a wayward world.
00:59In Jesus the light of the world stepped into the darkness.
01:07In dying and then rising Jesus assumed our humanity and then redeemed our humanity.
01:15As a kid in Sunday school we used to sing a song about how Jesus came from heaven to earth,
01:24from the earth to the cross, from the cross to the grave.
01:29The song is short and it's a bit whimsical but the journey it describes is the longest and most profound in history.
01:40Jesus gave his life that we might choose life.
01:46So how far would you go for love?
